Mgla drew a new path for black metal, that is obvious, same like venom, bathory, death (and many others) for their genres. To simply call a band "a copy" is a bit odd. Everyone was bitching about Uada being a copy of Mgla, but basicly no one heard Infernus(USA) and how they sounded before forming Uada. (infernus>uada imho :P) How about accepting the path black metal goes these days and how it sounds and be happy that genre is evolving instead of bitching that something copies something else?
I clicked on this because of the Mgla song(s) by the same title. I've been searching for more bands with the Mgla and Uada sound and thought "what are the chances?" I'm glad I did!

Unified in Void
Your ideals have fallen
the holy books are tattered
and rot amongst the scattered monuments
your gods are dead
heaven is abandoned, an empty lie
the holy trinity unified in one, in the void
Zephyr! I call upon thee
come forth with thunder and rage
with power and will
bring forth a storm, a change
Now here I stand, manically laughing
in the presence
in the face of a might that is true
true to be called fucking god
Silenced every word
destroyed, erased, obliterate
every trace, every track, every last evidence
driven by disgust, by detest
by denial and unbearable hate
nothing to remind of the abhorrent mistake
Ouroboros
It lies and sleeps through centuries
unpierced by the spears of Helios
steady flow through the mountains veins
and potential of destruction slumbered in the iron
so mans hands forged weapons
and the daggers gashed aeons
for power and wealth to the highest bidder
I wear a crown of celestial serenity
who are we to decide over life and death
betray comes far cheaper than 30 silver coins
and the coffins will sink forever
Torrent of voices tormenting my mind
planets burning, collapsing in my sight
wield a hammer on the anvil of blight
box of pandora is opening wide
unleash the horrors meant to undo
a mistake called human kind
For what lied and slept through centuries
now finally unleashed to the spears of Helios
and the hammers hit harder and harder
the drills go deeper and deeper
and the snake won't stop searching
until it finally bites its own tail
Amongst The Worms
You can build wall by wall
but you can't keep out the night
even the most pompous places
won't embellish the impending doom
You can pray to your false gods
but they won't come to save a life
even the brightest crown can't outshine your momentariness
everyone, everyday, everything has to end
Live your miserable lives
overshadowed by undying mountains
walk on bleak paths
swallowed by eternal forests
be obliterated
crushed to dust by dreadful winds
face the highest law
everyone, everyday, everything has to end
Dethroned and uncrowned
disillusioned and enlightened
take your rightful place
you shall crawl
Dethroned and uncrowned
disillusioned and enlightened
take your rightful place
amongst the worms
Unworthy
I don't weep for the dead
on streams of red they will ascend
they will reach the bloodred surface
be swallowed and become one
Gaia! Awake!
silence the deafening voices
drown this world forevermore in silence
let the prestine sound of oblivion be the only thing to be heard
when all becomes nothing and nothing becomes all
We are nothing but a cruel mistake
we do nothing but destroy, not create
we deserve nothing but the nothingness we spread
with every bullet shot
with every bomb launched
with every life taken
Unworthy to live
unworthy to feel
Unworthy to walk on Gaias astonishing grace
unworthy to hear
unworthy to see
unworthy to walk on Gaias grace
Thanatos
Reach for the stars
higher and higher
pillars of arrogance scraping the skies
long for the resources
deeper and deeper
ripping the earth to reach the core
Confidants of greed try to fill the insignificance of life
trying to stuff the void inside
Ambassadors of hate ride Ares chariot across the face of Gaia
in the shadow of your perishableness
Your monuments will crumble
your cities will fall
your bodies will rot
reduced to earth
to nourish the maggots
predestined to outlive us all
that your existence
finally has had a purpose
Rise to reign
fall to dust
enjoy your short dominion
in the face of death
rise above the skies
rot below the ground
Fertilize what raised you up
Down in the dirt
where your race belongs
no matter if beggar or king
waste of breath, doomed to die
Your race is ephemeral
and so are you
a thorn in the eye of Thanatos
a glimpse in eternity

TO JEST JEDNA WIELKA KOPIA ZESPOŁU MGŁY! CHŁOPAKI BRAK WAM WŁASNEJ WYOBRAŹNI! ROZUMIEM, ŻE JESTEŚCIE ZAISPIROWANI TWÓRCZOŚCIĄ MGŁY, ALE NAWET WYGLĄD SCENICZNY MACIE TAKI SAM. TROCHĘ SZACUNKU. NAWET NAZYWACIE SIĘ JAK PIERWSZA PŁYTA MGŁY. WSTYD
A jesli to z szacunku o fascynacji Magłą?
Niemcy to ich wykonawcy my podwladni.
