- A second day of testimony resumes Friday in the Georgia hearing to determine whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will be disqualified from the trial of Donald Trump and 14 remaining co-defendants on charges of election interference.
Defense lawyers contend Willis and Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor she hired for the case, should be removed because of their romantic relationship.
Willis and Wade each took the witness stand Thursday to describe their relationship, insisting it had nothing to do with the case against Trump and the others. "These people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020,” Willis said, gesturing to the defense table. “I’m not on trial no matter how hard you try to put me on trial.”
I like the way this judge works. He is actively engaged and appears very competent.

Trump pleaded the 5th like some 400 times. According to his own statement, he must be guilty.
The judge just doesn't keep control of the relevance of evidence to the motion. The only issue is whether there is a confllict of interest due to financeial inducements as a result of hiring Wade. Everything else is irrelevant and should be excluded.
They want to destroy her character. She shouldn't have the power thar she has in this court. They destroy her, they destroy the case. They all walk free. Any other DA get, he won't go to trial.

Imagine talking the truth, and all of a sudden you have the Bar Association calling you and telling you not to testify to that truth. Wow, he is screwed. I wonder who at the Bar Assoc told him that? When he said, the Bar Association told him, his lawyer, that he doesnt have to testify about the relationship with Willis and Wade, he knew he was screwed. Fulton County DA Willis admitted in her testimony to spending left over campaign funds, apparently stashed in her private home, again per her own testimony, to pay for romantic foreign vacations with Nathan Wade whom she appointed as independent council. Is not that a violation of Campaign finance laws? Now I understand she is not on trial here but nor is she appearing as counsel in this hearing. Someone preferably, the Judge should remind her of that fact as it is his court room.
Does anyone have the responsibility or the guts to pursue her admission of criminal use of campaign funds for personal expenses?
Judge, being an Officer of the Court might you have a response when this hearing is over?

It's entirely possible the judge will say their relationship was inappropriate but since no one can confirm dates, the burden is not meet burden for disqualifying them from this case. Whether there was other misconduct with respect to money paid for romantic rendezvous won't really impact the subversion case but will fall to the bar association to determine if discipline is warranted.
Forgetting the fact that Fulton county is criminal and covering up for the Fanny who used funds meant for something else 😊
