Fridays used to be cake day. Now it is quilt day and I so look forward to the new blocks. I get up a five in the morning for this treat and it starts my weekend off with a great sense of, I can do that which in it's self is such a positive thing to gift to a stranger. Thank you.
I made this as a duvet cover for my brothers down blanket. It was super easy and worked up so fast! He loved it! I plan on making a quilt with this pattern!

OMG. Years (like 30) I was in my stripe phase and still have yards of them. Guess what I'm going to finally do with all of them. I am retiring this week so I will now have plenty of time to devote to my many hobbies. Thanks for the wonderful video.

Jenny......You've done it again ! To be perfectly honest when I first saw the fabric you were going to use for this tutorial I actually was disappointed ....I stopped the video after about 3-4 minutes and decided to work on a linen suit I am making for myself to wear to church in the summer etc. I just woke up and decided to turn on the PC to take another "quick" look at the video....and BOY am I glad I took another look!! This is absolutely gorgeous! I am so excited I have some striped (Purple/Pink/White/Green) fabric that I am going to try this with right now! I am so excited to try this. It's been a busy,busy week ( with Drs.appts etc ) but I am so excited to "TRY" this newest MSQC TUTORIAL !!! Thanks AGAIN!
I have this huge "spool" for lack of a better word, of striped fabric that I brought, on sale, of course. The project that I had brought it for kinda fell through. But now, thanks you you Jenny, I have a project that I can use it for! Great video! Love your ideas!

Thank you for this tutorial. I have pieces of Damascus silk (various striped patterns) purchased in the Old City of Jerusalem. I want to make a throw out of them as a gift. I’ve researched making quilts with striped fabric. This is a winner! I just might travel to MO for some hands-on help!
