Of course the variant with the Dock is nowhere to be found as of now 😕 I hope it comes to European shops quick, I don't even care about the lack of CM4s at the moment, I want the GPi2.
bro....The price of the cm4 is exorbitant, to play heavier games you have other options without having to spend so much money and with a much larger screen to enjoy them, I definitely prefer version 1, in addition, with good rechargeable batteries you will have a great autonomy, unlike v2 you can play as long as you have batteries, being able to change them for others so you can play as long as you want
@@khamla616 Exactly, perhaps in the future when the cm4 is at a more reasonable price, for the simple fact of the better quality screen, I am quite tempted to buy it, but for now I keep my v1
@@Restalgia cool i know when anyone asked them on reddit and discord, they tend to turn a little aggressive about it possibly cause they keep getting asked every day. I think last update was at the start of the pandemic
Knowing Retro Flag there fill be more cases available but it definitely takes some time. I was lucky to get hands on the first GPi case early when many still searched for one.
@@Restalgia I like the v1 with batteries better, it is perfect for playing games without going over 32 bits, with the rechargeable battery you can be in a place where there is no charge and stay without playing, with the v1 and some good rechargeable batteries, you can get to have a long autonomy, also when you run out of batteries you can as many as you want
That dock is a fantastic inclusion. I don’t want a dedicated Pi handheld but one that also dock and connects to a tv. Now you have my attention.
So glad i waited for V2! Take my money

Which version of the cm4 were you using?
Yo this is actually so dope.
Looks like a cool device. Great review!
I hope they release with L2+R2 button...
Impressive ❤️

Ahh man I bought the first gpi case a few months ago should’ve waited

I am also quite tempted to sell v1 and buy v2, but do you really think it's worth it?
@@Marnavi74 probably not I have other handhelds that I enjoy playing the harder to emulate titles

😁😎 good video man
Thanks.
Cool but I can’t find a CM4 anywhere…
A seperate question Steve, but have you heard if development is still going on for Project Eris and Project Lunar at all?
They have been on hold for a little bit with their personal lives I think but I am anticipating they will be back at it shortly

I have FOMO for v2. I have the lame v1 version. Pfft.
This version is a pretty big improvement on the first one. Honestly the best part is the rechargeable battery 😅

No more « red power led » in the new model?
