So happy you made another of these. This in depth guide to show how to tweak some of these random settings to make thing better is the difference to a smooth setup or something that makes you not want to play this. There's a pretty in depth post on Reddit about installing a low profile heat sink for the CM4. [GPi Case 2 heatsink install [shell modification requierd] -post title I posted my experience in installing it slightly different than they original poster with the only case modification being the snipping of the posts (nothing done to the cartridge cover. I also installed the nuts a bit backwards so I removed a few of the heat sink fins to screw them on without having to take the whole assembly off the main-board.
@@TeamRetrogue I haven't had many issues with stability at all unless i was overclocking it, But i'm only had my unit for a couple weeks at this point and haven't had much time with it. that heatsink worked well without fully mounting but I was worried about the stress on the cm4 connectors so I finally decided to fully mount it.
I have a question that is driving me crazy to no end. How do I update bios. I am a noob and literally pulling out hair trying to run saturn. Love recalbox though and don't want to switch to retropie.
how do you manage to implement recalbox on a raspberry pi cm4 ? For my part, it's a success until i arrive at the emulation station et then all is blocked? I think that my gamepad is no more recognize. What is the solution ? Thanks
at the 10:28 mark and before there is a black border at the bottom of your screen. At the 10:58 mark that border disappears. Any idea how to fix this to full screen as shown after the 10:58 mark?
So that was the angle in which I was holding the case. The screen is not OCA laminated which means there’s a gap between the screen and the case. That’s what you saw at 10:28.
man, i loved the case and the setup of this device, but i had to return it. its unfortunately to small for me to see. its setup was great and it worked flawlessly but screen size was tooo small. wish my vision was better

Thanks so much! That's a beefy heatsink. How well did it improve your experience? No hard crashes since installing it?

That's awesome. I was going to go with one of the smaller square heatsinks but I might opt for something a little bigger now.
Great stuff thank you 🙂do you have a preconfigured image I can download?
