Okay sweetie. You had a thought. Now think a little bit harder and ask yourself ‘What’s the logical conclusion of this statement?’

You’re a big girl. You can do this.

The main issue with that person's "I'm here to make people uncomfortable" point of view is that, if everyone acted like them, trans people would never be respected.
Plenty of people are like Dev: they treat trans people as the gender they identify as not because they see them as "real men/women", but out of politeness. If people started thinking that they'll just not care about people's feelings, trans people would lose, not win.

You got to see the rise of technology from low grade bulky tvs and pixels as a gaming console to these stunning ages where even basic 3d like an N64 was mind blowing. You got to be in the generation that created and is currently studying space, the final frontier of the future. Watching as we went from star math to now calculations into hundreds of thousands of years into the future, and maybe even the discovery of a new life-supporting planet. You got to see the best part of political freedom where everyone was giving ideas and yet respected for having different views. And ill say it. 90s to early 2000s was by far the closest we have come to ending the racial division in our country. Most millennials never even knew about racism as a kid, and those that did resented those who were. It was a time you could only be there for.

And here's the cherry on top: let's say there is a trans woman who doesn't pass. She goes in the women's bathroom. A woman confronts her because she's uncomfortable. If the trans woman makes a joke to defuse the situation, or just show basic respect when discussing, it won't go any further. And even if it's a crazy anti-trans woman, the best way to show that the anti-trans is wrong is to actually comply, leave the bathroom for 5 minutes then go in when she's gone, or suck it up and go to the men's bathroom. The best way to convince the anti-trans that they're right is bullying your way into private spaces.

I was at a theatre a few weeks ago and they didn't officially gender the bathrooms, but the former women's restroom was simply kept cleaner (as custodians clean it more, not because women are cleaner), apparently most people still walked into "their own" restroom, apparently I was the only man there, so I simply avoided making eye contact with anyone, washed my hands, and left. I didn't notice it until I was already done, I know for a fact that some people are like video game N.P.C.'s, they only start interacting with you and confront you once you openly get into their line of sight, so I just avoided eye contact and left.

I think the core issue with transgenderism is at the root of gender itself, which is that it's a concept that goes against reality in preference of perspective. Sure no one's gonna say anything if a person passes, but that's because they don't know. If that knowledge becomes present, regardless if the person is making a political statement or not, a lot of people are going to be uncomfortable with the person breaking a social taboo (and law) just because they believe they are the exception to the rule.

I'd also add that while passing may sort of fix the "bathroom issue" it most certainly does not fix the romantic issue. Most straight guys are not going to be happy to find out that you aren't a woman, especially if they are planning on having children with you. Gay men probably aren't going to be that interested in you on appearance alone. Even with bottom surgery there will still be some lesbians who won't be thrilled that you are biologically not a woman and straight women will also likely not want a partner who looks like a woman even if they still have a penis.
You are setting yourself to not really be desirable to most people and even if you can get someone to accept you romantically based on your appearance it's probably not going to go over well when you reveal the truth and it turns out that's a deal breaker for them.

There needs to be a healthy way to distinguish individuals who are going through medical and cosmetic treatments to cope with their dysphoria. Honestly the solution is probably just to make the distinguished social groups of Trans Man and Trans Woman, but of course there is a supposed "othering" that is disliked but to what extent is that thought manufactured by the indoctrinatory machinations of the progressive ideology might be the ticket. I feel as though it is one which we've seen accepted by socially well adjusted individuals displaying dysphoria (Blaire White is the easy low hanging fruit here pun intended) and it is likely the concurrent mental health epidemic which has caused the maladjusted to feel an insecure desire to be seen entirely as another group, and yet also as a unique cultural identity despite consisting of a singular shared trait.
