Get this pinned 😂
Agreed. I've already written this down in case I can't find it later
sounds so good,yum
Thank you😂
I'm no expert on this comedy, I'm from the Midwest. I do know one thing, I might lose the bet with Matthew and Ryan Donohue. In any case, my advice is this, stay away from the Scfi movies and stick to things like paintings, art and Kingdom Hearts literature. Whatever makes you: You. That's what's important.
A better question is this: WHY DOES ANY HUMAN WOMAN WANT TO BE WITH BRIAN?!
The tongue, maybe idk. I mean, we have this sorta thing in real life.
One word "Zooaphile" that's why
@anthonyluclarocque1765 Yeah, humans are strange Simi-hairless apes.
BRAIN GRIFFIN AND LOIS GRIFFIN NOT THE BEST COUPES
It the vioce that what I been telling myself
Honestly earlier seasons yes Brian loves her. Now Brian doesn't. He LUSTS after Lois. He attempted to assault her in play it again Brian. You don't do that to someone you love. He just lusts after Lois. That's it.
That's cause they killed off brian and made him worse as the seasons went off
@@wastedspace99 No he was bad before that. People hated Brian way before he was killed off. Even the rape attempt happened before he was killed off. Brian using his son happened before he was killed off. A lot of bad things Brian has done happened before he was killed off.
Stole the words right out of my head
Correct on all points, sir or madam.
They switch it up a lot. Quagmire seems like he lusts after her sometimes & then it seems like he’s in love with her. So idk. 🤷🏽♀️
Brian in love was such a great episode. It does a great job of dealing with a real world issue of having feelings for your best friend's girl. What I like is it doesn't show Brian being slimy or malicious like quagmire and that these feelings just happened. The struggle between being true to yourself and doing the morally correct thing is handled with such tact and grace it is one of my favorite episodes.
then the writers were like, "enough of that nerd shit, it's way funnier when Brian ooga booga's at Lois' mumba gumbas."
Yep humping her leg and not taking no for an answer or that time he switched bodies with Peter and then had sex with Lois
Then they further ruin Quagmire by having him tell off Brian for loving Lois, as if he himself hasn't been trying to bed her for years.
How about Play it Again Brian?
In early seasons: I'd say because she was a genuine good woman and he honestly felt she deserved better and could treat properly.
Later seasons: he's a shallow twat
And she's a horrible she-beast.
Thing is, either versions of him would be better than Peter as a husband. 💀
@@Air_Serpent hahah agreed though I don't think that's hard to do 😆
@@Air_SerpentKenny's dad from South Park is a better husband.
I still question how HUMAN women are willing to sleep with Brian THE DOG?? That’s one of my gripes about this show
And Brian had the audacity to vomit after sleeping with a trans woman.
@@soldierinsane2689right? Just confirms that transphobes don't care about morality, since they think zoophilia is less worse than being trans.
Brian is a self insert of Seth and Brians relationships mirrors Seth's love life
guys in his 30's and still single
I do too but I remember it's just a show and I don't question anything anymore with Family guy
@@soldierinsane2689i don’t think that was the point of that. remember it wasn’t because she was trans but because it was quagmires dad
I heard a theory that Seth macfarland had a crush on Lois voice actress hence why most of his characters are in love with her
She did acknowledge that in the video....
Whoever made that theory is done for
I get why he had feelings for classic Lois but modern Lois is awful she treats her family like garbage cheats on Peter multiple times calls Meg ugly despite the fact they both look the same and her voice is annoying
Can we bring up the fact that Brian is a literal dog? Even as a kid I thought it was weird when some of his story arc surrounded romance with humans.
I really appreciated the nuance of their relationship in the first few seasons. Brian loved Lois because she was beautiful, thoughtful, and caring. Brian, having many of those qualities, naturally fell for her since they were a better match than her & Peter. I appreciated how they all had a respect for their family dynamic. Despite Brian being in love with Lois, he wasnt going to overstep his bounds to be with her. I miss the focus on relationships that the first few seasons had.
Early seasons: He genuinely like her
Newer seasons because she is hot
Because Brian is Seth's self insert, and Lois likely represents a woman he liked when he was in high school or college, or If we're being honest here, a guy he liked.
😭😭😭😭
Huh???
I never understood what was so great about Lois that had damn near every guy in the show pining after her
She's attractive that's why they wanted her
@@newdawnhorizon9879she's attractive yeah but goddamn. I mean I've always seen Lois as an okay in looks
I think the reason the Brian pees in the grocery store is because arousal isn't the cause of the peeing. It's jealousy. He was jealous of Peter playing around with Lois in the water and he was jealous of the attention Peter got at the grocery store.
Because he used to look up and feel pity after the way Peter barely treats Louis anymore and would still rather have her to herself. Unlike his eariler season he was still a laid-back and supportive friend but nowadays he a pety and desperate simp who would almost do *anything* to still has his way. Old habits like him don't die hard unlikely death when gotton ran over by that car!
*Come on, there has to be ANOTHER talking dog Brian can talk to.*
One ate one of Brian's testicles. I'm not sure what happened with the female one, doubt it's anything positive...
His gay cousin jasper?
@@Tactical_autist y'know, I forgot he even existed. He hardly appears in the show anymore. But no, he wasn't among the two I mentioned.
@@garuelx8627You're talking about the dog that replaced Brian temporarily when he got killed off him and Olivia stewie's ex make music for babies
@@byronrush9802 nope. There is another.
I can answer the Logan's Run question.
Basically Logan was one of the enforcers who hunted down runners who reached the age of 30 and didn't go to carousel for renewal, and he's so good at it that the computer in charge of everything artificially raises his lifeclock so that he can infiltrate a secret organization of runners who are managing to completely escape renewal by going to a mysterious place called Sanctuary.
I think that Brian has become the new Meg becoming the punching bag but I see why he has become the way he is most of the people he loved have left him or died failed college twice put his heart into writing but people hated it his best friend never hangs out with him though he was smart he drink his pain away and people call him out on his actions even though everyone in family guy has done worse except joe and Cleveland
the difference is meg didn't deserve the hate, Brian is more clear as to why people hate him

Lois may be attractive-ish…but I guess one could argue Brian, as a middle aged male, envies the loving couple relationship that Lois and Peter had in the earlier seasons of Family Guy.
But he needed to focus on his own life, not a life he wants. Keep dreaming of a life that you want, and you’ll miss out the life you have. Bear in mind I’m speaking from the prospective of the early seasons. Later on, Brian is just a selfish jerk.
That's a very good point actually.
Maybe it's a metaphor that Louis is Brian's person. What I mean is like my dog, sure she loves everyone in the family, but out of everyone she loves me the most because I'm het person. I spent the most time with her I played with her the most I made sure she was always fed and now I'm her one person that she can't be away from
I was looking for a comment like this. The family dog always has a favorite person who they know they can rely on.
Their relationship just really shows how different the show has become. The way Lois let Brian down easy in that early episode is really touching and heartfelt. It's really well written and really well done. And you could also tell even in the animation like when Lois sits down you can see that expression on her face how she knows that Brian wants to confess and just overall it's just so well done.
That later episode where Brian just couldn't take it anymore and really wanted her Just proved that he never got over her. And sadly that happens for a lot of people.
Anyways they would not get away with making an episode about the two and Brian having a crush on her anymore because it just wouldn't make any sense with how much they bastardized his character and not to mention bastardized lowest too.
Thank you for explaining the Logans Run reference, because these references are very old ,but i can still appreciate the cultural relevance to the reference.I can google it,but it feels better to have it explained ,instead of reading about it because i want to learn through people.Otherwise i wont care enough . I'm going to rewatch this episode.
If Dylan was Brian’s son then why does he look human?
He got a human mom
They never had an official paternity test...
@@garuelx8627 can't think about it to much family guy ain't that type of show
Better question? WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT LOIS?!
Before she became evil in later season she was kind, respected other people's feelings, she went out of her way to make her family happy, and was never unnecessary angry.
@@covenawhite4855
Everyone except her daughter. Just... Jeez woman
Thank you. She looks ugly, sounds ugly, and the only one who she deserves is Quagmire cause she’s such a hoe
She use to be sweet and a good mother.
@@crystalgemgirl731 Well now she’s a psycho bitch who might as well date Quagmire. I feel bad for Brian, he just has bad luck with women
If we take the "Brian is Seth MacFarlane" subtext literally then does this mean that Seth MacFarlane also suffers from incontinence?
If Brian was like the many clones that came after (he’s basically a furry little human that makes dog related jokes) this would make sense but in family-guy: he is a DOG. A PET. They make this VERY clear that he had regular, non-talking dogs as birth parents.
Brian is so wrong for this. Lois may not be his mom, but she’s still his master.
And his best friends wife
there was litterly a whole episode about brain gaining independence and stating he was more than a pet, also the guy fucks humans on a daily baises, lives in other locations, has a car,has hopes and dreams of greater things and so much more, hes more than just a dog to the family, hes not even considered a pet most of the time
@@skeletonbuyingpealts7134 i agree. Tho he was more peter’s best friend in early seasons. He really became Stewie’s
@mr.rich2852omg that was messed up when he said that
@@pantherman8719That straight up hurt. I gasped. And she saw the whole thing!
It's a shame, in the early seasons and to a lesser extent in the mid seasons, Family Guy had some pretty solid stories. The animation wasn't so janky, there was character development and the episodes were actual stories and not a series of skits stitched together to form a narrative.
Wake up honey, Kitty Monk just dropped a new video essay!
I felt like that whole Brian loving Lois episode in season 6 could have Brian act this way to Lois after the whole Jillian breaking up with him (which was totally Stewie’s fault). And Brian was just using Lois to help him forget about Jillian.
In The Giver, The Receiver of memories in a way had a love interest.
Looking at Ryan in the older seasons, I feel like he takes on the appearance of a warped version of a book called sorrows of young Werther an artist strolling into the town, falling in love with a woman who’s already betrothed to another man he tries to Frank both of them, but it’s killing him inside, so he leaves then he finds out. He’s just as lonely as when he was with her, so he tries to go back and see her one last time. And the reason I say it’s worth it because the main character is seen as artsy, extremely moody, and well educated which is like a warped mirror of Brian, he’s artsy, but in a bad way, he’s educated, but not really the only thing they share in common that’s consistent is they’re both very moody people one is seem more positively than the other even the people they fall in love with, are characterized as caring, nurturing people who tend to be daughters of families in high positions the biggest difference between the love interest is simply who they end up with in family guy. Peter is what most people consider not a good guy wild little bit untamed probably gonna cost millions of dollars and probably damage put in something like sorrows, the fiancé character is actually a really sensible businessman, but my point stands that vote for lashing out with unrequited love that they can’t really talk about except in sorrows the mc decided to go and stay gone with a never ending sleep for Brian is more like that version that can’t let go choosing to suffer in his own silence crossed by his whole unrequited love until it’s warped and twisted into Just RAW lust, leaving him more of a shell of the former self than ever
Hey Kittymonk, I really appreciate your videos. Your voice is very calming and you do a great job explaining your thoughts. I love playing your videos while I draw, it helps me focus. Look forward to your future work!
I live in Hartford! Before that, I lived in Massachusetts. Glad you got to visit! Hartford does have U-Conn, but Yale is in New Haven.
25:59 Man ,I remember that. It was amazing. I watched it hundreds of times back in the day.
Now we need a more detailed look on exactly why quagmire hates Brian.
He explained it to him on an episode. I do remember there being a few flashbacks as well
I believe it's because he slept with Quagmire's dad who is trans.
I love both versions of Brian very much. It's always hilarious to see him get his comeuppance or get injured for not doing anything.
Of course, they never learn their lessons, there's always more show. They can't stop dancing.
I haven't watched Family Guy in years. I prefer the early episodes and seasons. Maybe it is true that Seth liked Alex at points irl. In that regard, maybe if Brian found the right girl, he wouldn't act like he's superior to her in the way that you mentioned. Maybe early Brian and Lois would've worked out okay.
That aside, going back to the Seth and Alex speculation, it reminds of South Park a little. Usually when Stan and Wendy had some issue, like the whole "break up" they had and Wendy was into Token, it was written in because of how Trey was feeling irl with his relationship issue at the time.
LMAO at "I just hope it doesn't morph into a hate worm." A Big Mouth/Human Resources reference was the LAST thing I expected in a Brian analysis.
As a dog owner I’ll answer your pee question. It’s immediate smell is different but a few hours later it will smell equally awful. They slept for hours after Stewie peed so…
Brian legit the greatest simp in history
I actually pitied him for having a crush on her because... Well it's Louis
Side note but I forgot stewie saw lois and peter! There’s a more recent episode he walks in on them and gets traumatized 😂 poor baby
Love to see you make some future Vampire Diaries Videos in the future.
Good work highlighting 2 of the 3 biggest character assassinations in the show. Joe, Brian, and Lois, in that order.
My theory as to why brian isn't good boyfriend is because of peter's influence since peter is his master after all
His therapist gaslighted him, that's how.
Please make a video essay on the topic of who's a better character between Homer and Peter.
Homer by far. Even at his worst, Homer is trying.
Homer 100% better
Homer may make a lot of mistakes, be inconsiderate and act like a kid
But he still tries to do the right thing when he knows he messed up
He won't cheat on his wife
He won't let his daughter down
He always has good intentions in his actions even if they're kinda dumb
Follow up: The HELL does Lois see in Peter?
Maybe Brian is Seth’s insecurity as a writer showing. Maybe he thinks that writing family guy is creative suicide
Here's a question for you Kitty, since your technically a cat, if Quagmire tried to adopt you, would you do a scratch attack on him
I’m not a cat but wasn’t there one episode where we find out Glenn loves cats so much because he’s hypnotized? I’d probably do that lol
@@KittyMonk What are you then. I'm talking about your Kitty Monk character
I am somebody who reviews cartoons. They call me Kitty.
@@KittyMonk In your Cotton Hill video, you told or more likely your character told Shady Doorags that you're a talking cat on Fridays and occasionally Tuesdays
As a dog owner who frequently has to clean up accidents, yes, dog pee smells *vastly* different from human pee
😂😂 Hide your kids, Hide your wife and Hide your husband's! 😂😂😂
Brian should've spent a lot less time lusting after Lois and a lot more time working on that novel he was working on
This video made me realize why Stewie hated Los in the early seasons. Because she treats Brain like an equal but treats Stewie like a baby
Off topic but man I miss evil Stewie
0:05-0:07 I'M MELTING BRIAN'S LAUGH IS SO CUTE 🥺
Maybe it’s a dumb question but how many other animals are like Brian in their world? Talking animals that are treated like people more than pets. I mean that dog show dog he liked was more like a pet than he was. It makes me wonder that if there would be a potential love interest for Brian it would be a female dog but less a pet and more an individual with possibly their own job. I mean Brian’s a dog but no one questions him wanting to be a writer or that his girlfriends are all human
They also made a whole segment referencing Logan’s run in annoying orange. The more you know.
Ever thought of doing an essay video on Brandy Harrington herself, sometime?
it is inspiring to see young people making content like this and I think if you keep at it your writing will only improve and get tighter and funnier
Seth has a track record of falling in love with co-stars.
One of the main reasons way Alara Kitan was written off The Orville. Seth and Halston’s relationship came to an end.
Love ❤the pre visuals lol ❤😂!
The latter half of "spirit of Massachusetts" we all gotta admit is fucking EPIC
More South Park, please. Brian represents how Seth McFarland has gradually been realized to be one whom sucks .
Did anyone come to think that when they were with Brian they had banged a dog!!
Play it again Brian is a Casablanca reference, where the quote "play it again Sam" was supposedly used
I can personally vouch of how different dog pee smells from human pee, dog pee is far stronger in its smell than human pee, which even at it's yellowest, doesn't give off nearly as much of a smell as dog pee since there are also special pheromones in dog pee
"I got 7 years to go"
LMAO, I'm past due 4
That title is a reference to Casablanca.😊
I think it's because EVERYONE loves Lois. Both in the show, and out.
Disagree. Lois is the absolute bottom of the barrel worst person. She is an awful piece of trash and i can’t understand why they all love her.

Next you should do a video on why Stewie loves Brian. Their relationship is the interesting on the show
Hey I'm left handed
Louis my darling! ❤
Ill use the last remaining minutes of my life on my phone to watch this video
We can’t forget Brian’s reaction when Peter had Jesus enlarge Lois’s tits…
22:12 To answer your question I don't think he suddenly loved her again, I think he didn't stop loving her. He just had to tolerate being around her while still being in love with her and just accept that he can't have her. This happens to people all the time.
Hopefully my beloved state treated you well! Eh, who am I kidding it's Connecticut lol. Great video!
i was about to say lmfao
Brian is a insufferable character but Quagmire is worse. Brian threw himself at Lois and it was wrong. I remember the episode where Brian got Quagmire to go to dinner with him. Then Quagmire started insulting Brian. You should do a video on Quagmire because he’s just as bad if not worse for trying to sleep with Meg his best friends daughter. I think that’s worse then what Brian did.
Brian and Lois interactive is very interesting and I think it is after the sang it again Brian is were Brian starts his downfall.
Yeah because it’s just weird and creepy
*cries in 31* I think I can fool them another year
2:34 That Face lmao
7:36 Of course the cat is asking what dog pee smells like 😏
I think the reason is that Lois is said to be the prettiest woman in the show multiple times, and he's always around her
Am I the only one who thinks that the therapist looks like the actor Sam Waterston?
BRIAN’S AWARD
12:33 Not the Big Mouth reference
This makes me think about what it would be like if you had the hots for his mom😮
Wait, in the episode where Stewie builds a machine that change his and Brians’s body, and later the machine goes wacko and start changing the hole town, didn’t Brian in Peter’s body have s*x with Lois?
5:00
I recommend watching Logan's Run to everyone that hasn't seen it. It's a good film, if a touch dated.
There is an uncensored breast though, so, if you're under 18, ask your parents.
I would have liked to see a situation of a consistent family struggle with Brian as for me, Brian getting a bipedal cat who is similar to him in many ways pregnant, and they have to deal with that family dynamic on the side, namely with Stewe as he would likely
this came to my mind thinking, if they wanted to flesh out Brian more and give family guy something interesting to look at that doesn't flanderize them as much, what would be more interesting for their story telling than a family dynamic between a dog and cat that talk and act like people having children with one another and how that plays out, the cat in question haves the child or children because, unlike Brian, she is a Christian and doesn't believe in abortion and also doesn't believe in adoption either as the parent need to raise their kids to have as healthy and happy a life as possible (this can also make for interesting interactions on an atheist and a Christian), so she has the children and even though they are not married, raise the children together as this cat and the children become another part of the family
this can show good, bad, and everything else in between where the way this family works is, interactions between the Griffin family, and also show an interesting side of quagmire as he lives the cat but hates Brian, making things more interesting on how they would interact, or even better, the cat I described is quagmires, and that could be a point in the show of how Quagmire reacts to that all
just my own hat in the ring of how to help Brian as a character instead of the direction they went in
Whoa ass Ahoy!
Brian loves Lois, because everyone loves Lois. Have you heard her dirty talk????!?
You're 23? That's how old I just turned
0:43 YOU ONLY SAID TS BKUZ STEWIE SAID IT
Also, Lois is a terrible person in later seasons so they end up being perfect for each other
