Any problems with heat transfer from the BBQ to concrete? I'm worried about the concrete cracking.

Nice table! do you think i can fit a big joe 3 (24") using the same design but changing the diameter of the counter top?

To avoid the bubble you see, make sure to vibrate the concrete as your adding it. Palm sander to otherwise

When will part 4 be up? I’m starting my build today and was hoping to get some guidance on hinges and drawer. Additionally, maybe need to update parts list to include drawer slides.

Apparently never.... been 2 years nearly now lol. I was just watching through this series and got to this one and was like "where's the rest of it for the drawer and crap?"

Hah yeah Im sorry never got around to doing a drawer video, life and pandemic took me away from this channel but Im hopefull to do more with it soon, hopefully its helpful to some people I put a lot of effort in it. As for the drawer, I always considered the drawer optional I dont have one on my now but its a simple add on.

I am currently doing this build... In this video On the Right side of the grill table the "F" piece is moved all the way over to the Right side of the grill to the legs... Not in the middle as per the plans... Was there a reason for this change or am I mistaken? I am doing this build for a Vision Pro Kamado

So how did you fasten the concrete down to the stand?

I didnt, its just resting on top and secured by the weight of itself, but You could just put a little bead of silicone sealant if you wanted to be extra safe but with the egg in place its prob not going anywhere.

When will you make more videos?

TBH Since I started this channel I had 2 more kids (with one on the way) and started 2 more businesses Id like to do more videos if there is interest but as you can imagine time is so limited! I recently built a pergola and documented it but hvent posted yet, would prob be the next thing I would do.

Also I never got the plans that I paid for... The downloaded file was unreadable on my PC and on my Macbook so i built it from the free plans

About halfway done with this project. Thanks for the inspiration. Any idea on when part 4 is coming out?

Been trying to find the time to get it done - 4 kids and 2 businesses have me spent... but im determined to finish it soon! In the meantime hopefully the plans will get you though. good luck!

The plans have been most helpful, thanks! I'm doing it in Redwood and I've had to make some modifications because I have the newer Kamado Joe, so I guess I'm just worried about blundering through some last minute "gotchas" on the doors. Thanks again for the plans/videos.

Great idea but I would not have sanded it that stuff is like breathing in asbestos. I hoped the camera man was wearing a mask to
