- I can’t believe it’s been over a month since the season finale and like many of you I haven’t recovered. I started rewatching season 1 and there were so many parallels that it inspired me to make this video. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!

My poor heart breaking because of these two!!! What NBC did to this was horrible I love them together maybe a plus one thrown in the mix would be a great surprise!!!!!
3:43 I think the writers did themselves a disservice to Max's character also. They tried to destroy Dr. Helen Sharpe's character out of spite due to Freema leaving, but her leaving should not have been a surprise because she was suppose to leave at the end of S3, but she stayed on as a courtesy for S4. So, they could have prepared a beautiful ending for the Sharpwin fans, but out of spite they decided to ruin her beautiful character. However, it is Max's character that is really seen as shameful because it depicts him as being insincere when it comes to his love for Helen. If his love for Helen could change that easily, and him being with rebound Elizabeth, then it proves that Helen's fears and concerns about him were warranted. Maybe Helen no longer felt safe and secure. The writers got it wrong out of spite. They couldn't openly admit their frustration towards Freema leaving because the public would see them as petty and unprofessional, so they went after her character, Dr. Helen Sharpe.
At the end of the day, we Sharpwin fans deserved a happy ending, and Max and Helen deserved a wedding with a baby on the way. Oh well, Sharpwin Fanfiction has given us some beautiful, and happy endings for Max and Helen! It will have to be enough.😊 Peace, Love & Kindness!
Please bring them back together and I will start watching again. I am sure a lot of the viewers feel the same way I do . Stop it 🛑

After watching this video, so sad seeing Max get that call that she's not coming back. I think it's out of fear, but my hope is that even though she chose to remain in London, the scenario would be that she finds out she is pregnant with Max"s baby. She has the baby, but never tells him about it. And then, later on when Freema has finished her other career projects outside of New Amsterdam, she decides to come back and pursue her role as Helen at another hospital. Their chemistry was/is off the charts. Love this couple. They are a team. 🕊❤️🙏🏽

I felt so so so so sorry for max I fell to my knees the same way Georgia did when she was told he had cancer it was sad and a cruel ending
After waiting for seasons for them to fall in love, they ripped my heart into pieces at the end😢. I loved Helen in the beginning and hated her at the end for what she did to Max and Luna, but later had hopes that she and Max would reunite after he found out that she did unethical cancer ♋ trial to save him.
There's no room in my heart for hate.💛 Dr. Helen Sharpe, an amazing woman. The story that the writers presented in the final season was so out of character for her, but we accept their somewhat spiteful ending. I'm glad to see Freema is moving on in her career with such grace and dignity She is a credible, talented actress with a huge fan base who love her dearly. I believe that the Max/Helen lovestory is not over. Looking forward to seeing Ryan and Freema collaborate on future projects with the same electrifying chemistry. !!🕊❤️🕊

I’ve binged watch this series for 1 month and I waited all this time to see these two beautiful characters unite. Helen has to come back a few more episodes and they have to give us a glimpse of hope. I didn’t watch this to get diss appointed. They have to do right by the fans. They do make a cute couple, and both single in real life, that would be a better ending❤ Looking forward to a good ending.
The writers of this series were outstanding, but they betrayed the Sharpwin fans. This is one of those shows that, if it got picked up at a later date, it would have a new viewer base due to the amazing actors and incredible storylines. Although, a little too much with the political views were forced upon us. But, the acting/writing was superb! Adore and love Ryan and his character, Max; and adore and love Freema and her character, Helen. 🕊❤️🕊

True they brought in Elizabeth briefly to test the chemistry, but no one had chemistry like Sharpwin. Reminds me of Olitz from Scandal. It is just there. They don’t have to talk.

Every time a white and black character fall in love the writers and producers screw it up so disappointing that I why I stopped watching it so mad 😡
The writers are literally shit. I get Freema left the show but they could of easily had them still be endgame and just not feature Helen until the last episode or something
