I just watched the show. Helena and Max chemistry is one of the best I’ve seen. They really need to fix this show. The writers just messed it up with season five. I couldn’t even finish. I think I’m done. Max should’ve chosen Helen…..that is what True love is. it’s not always gonna be perfect and you’re gonna mess up a lot , but in the end overtime it works out.
I want to see them reunite and marry. Since Luna will be taken over New Amsterdam. They do have a deep connection. Let her explain herself why and what she was feeling the day she actually did not board the 476 airplane. Looks like she was still in London apartment. A must see of this relationship.
Responding to my own comment looking at the 5th season of The New Amsterdam. Well Helena was in New York and she appeared on the T.V. giving synopsis about her research. But Max has moved on with the deaf Doctor. Sorry not out of disrespect, can't think of her name. Helena text Max, but he did not respond, don't blame him. He was definitely hurt, I was hoping to see them reunite but she blew that relationship after all the time she was swooning over him and finally got a relationship she ran away instead of resolving a relationship. Max stated on top of the roof they could work through whatever, but she could not do that. I hated that she did that too Max. But I don't feel the attraction or chemistry with him and the Deaf Dr. Not like it was with Helena, you felt the love and affection through the screen. I hated that this ended. But I can say I'm glad Luna grew up in the eyes of her father Max. 👏 👏.

So out of character, Helen would never do such thing, she cared for Max more then for herself and she wanted to be a mother so badly, she was ready to adopt someone's child in one of episodes. Helen, who cared trauma, because she was abandoned by her father, abandoned small Luna the same way ( girl who caled her mom 😢). it is just not logical, she wouldn't do it.Awful endind, and poor Luna she deserved to have a mother!
disappointed there weren't more season 1 clips. come on, 1x16 and 1x17?! i will say i like the change in music for the 'i did it for you" scene and especially the season 3 finale. here, these scenes are allowed to stand on their own, you're drawn in purely by max and helen's amazing connection. i don't know why the songs were changed, but i prefer them. the original music was intrusively loud. i resorted to muting the last minute of 3x14 because the singing overshadowed the scenes. i'm not downing the artist/song but my focus totally shifted because of the "howling" at the end.
Dr. Goodwin, cares for everyone, but his family! The most important people that should take priority! Change the world, from the inside out! Not the outside in.
