This was surprisingly good, I ended up watching all the way to the end. TE is unique in that its products all feel like they were made with HEART, no matter how ridiculous they are or how insanely pricey they end up, the honesty is what shines through. No posing. Complete disregard of trends or copycat:ing. The absolute polar opposite of "Chinese product", which is very, very, refreshing.

Design wise, yes we need more companies that value sleek, engaging devices. I’ve been an iPhone user since 2011. I’ve been a teenage engineering user since 2023.

@@jeltoninc.8542 So you’re also aware how the iPhone changed the way we use phones. Apple pushed the phone into everyone’s hand, they’re a big part of the reason why people waste their days scrolling feeds. Just my opinion, the iPhone that came out in 2007 was a great tool and I loved it, but I never imagined what it would lead to. Apple and similiar tech companies earn money on us being disconnected from the real world, we really don’t need more companies that make “engaging devices”. I do agree with you on the design part. I used to be such a fan, even worked there for 7 years, but once it hit me I just can’t unsee it. Kids with iPads, babies with iPhones - I know it’s also a parenting thing, I can’t decide who’s responsible. Kids get bullied if they don’t have an iPhone, it’s just silly. That’s certainly not what Jobs invisioned. Anyways…

It's only "good" as a joke that we can all laugh at, but beyond that provides ZERO value. You guys think you're so smart, but you forget that you exemplify the dunning-kruger effect like no body else, right? Nevermind, you lack the self-awareness needed to understand what I'm saying.

I work as a product designer and I always want to create beautiful and high-quality products. However, achieving this requires a lot of time and effort, involving multiple iterations. Unfortunately, many startup founders these days don't appreciate or understand design and want everything done quickly within 2 or 3 days or a week. As a result, they tend to rely on existing design patterns rather than investing in research, testing, and multiple iterations. Creating a quality product that stands out requires a lot of collaborative effort and dedication.

"Most people think their design is amazing?" Where are you getting this from? Can you back this up, or are you using your learned psychological skills to play on people? Tell how the design is good even for you. Good promotion you did for both Teenage Engineering and Rabbit without actually expressing how bad the product was while holding the Rabbit. If we do some research and think in your terms, you will find that any design studio can be the next Apple. Just because Teenage engineering piggyback on booming AI and Rabbit rode along with them, THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY DESIGN GOOD PRODUCTS! Other design studios are actually mindful of their values and do not rely on companies like Rabbit to earn money or gain popularity. People like Teenage Engineering or you do.
To go to X, you can see what real-world users say (not the marketing gimmicks) about products from Teenage Engineering. This intentional buzz can be a double-edged sword; it raises awareness but also invites scrutiny of the actual user experience and emotional connection to their products.

Well the OP-1 got a permanent spot in the MOMA in San Francisco. It does not make it "most people" but at least they are on to something.
They have also won many-many design awards from around the world for many of their products.
They have done designs for IKEA for a product line sold around the world.
Note: I do NOT come from the perspective of the Rabbit (it is not at all interesting to me) - but I own many of their sound products.

Apple is only good in aesthetics. Samsung, Google and Huawei are way ahead in tech innovation. Has Apple done any tech innovation in last 6-7 years (For Mobile phones)?
      * Samsung brought 5G and Wireless Charging.
      * Huawei brought Reverse Charging feature to charge other devices with your phone wirelessly.
      * Google made the best virtual assistant for mobile phones (Google Assistant) which is far more sophisticated than Siri.
iPhone lacks some of the most simplest features. It looks beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Atleast I can give em that. But that makes it more of a fashion brand than a tech brand. There was a time when Android sucked. But it's the other way around now.
