amen!! beautiful message. something that is crushing me is temptations. every time i feel tempted i feel the need to fall into it and say how God will always forgive me. but that is so wrong. i need to fight temptations the best i can instead of just giving in because “God will forgive me”

Man I needed to hear this, the right question to ask is what am I getting wrong, knowing that God is perfectly good holy and righteous. There’s nothing wrong with God or anything He’s done.

I definitely have to learn to take His yoke upon me. Learn to not want to know everything and just let it be. It’s hard right now because I feel really depressed and hopeless. Feeling like I’m always going to be stuck in this situation I’m in. But I have to wait, trust, and pray without ceasing. God bless you both!
I had the same thought as an answer to the question. Everything. This podcast has me realizing that I haven’t really had rest in a long time. I feel wrapped up in so many things. I often tell myself that my belief in God is the only way I can keep moving forward. Yet, I don’t really trust him very often. Or maybe even at all. Whether is personal issues, family issues (prominent at this moment in time) etc etc. What stuck a chord with me in this podcast was the statements about how we have to choose to be childlike, that I am wrong and that God is right. I spend so much energy on trying to get people to hear me, or all in line with how I think things should be. I look around me and often only see madness in today’s world. This sermon gave me more moments of peace than I can ever remember having… what’s next? Will I wake up in the morning and take that same load on my shoulders like always?

Being a Christian trans woman, I have no other obligation but to be loved by God. When I need a father, I can find Him. When I need shelter, I can rest in the House of the Lord. And when I need advice, I can read the scriptures, and Listen to what my Father in Heaven has to say. I can’t think of anything more profound than this. The world might not give you rest but God can, has, and always will❤️

Oh c'mon! I wish I watched this when it came out and it's like, 12 hours ago but it says SO MUCH about my now. I'm so happy because every single video from Amen Podcast give me a fruit of the Tree of Life. I was about to answer a comment on X while listening to you and Alex said this in about leaving the keyboard warriors be because they're the ones making fool of Jesus and not me at 35:00! hahaha Praised be the Lord! Another good thing that I've noted in 6:14 is that Alex changed the perspective to the LGBT approach and it made me happy because that's the mindset! We should let them know that Jesus loves them the way they are now and when they realize there's no way but to come to Christ, they'll understand everything because is the Holy Spirit that dwells in us that make the change, from within! The other thing which is actually a brazilian gospel song called: Everything that I've seen is NOT what I needed to learn that goes hand in hand with what Alex said in 18:04
