I think God needs me to persevere in my relationship with him.
AMEN! My wife and I finished The Gospel According to Jesus Christ a few weeks ago and I must say, it’s a must read. John MacArthur is a man of God that won’t be truly appreciated until he’s gone. I’m grateful to the Lord for placing him along my pilgrimage 👏🏻

When spending time with Jesus yesterday I was reading Romans 5. The word perseverance stood out to me. This was the perfect reminder to keep going. John MacArther pastors the church I go to. His teachings once put me to sleep now I can hear. God is good.

God is calling me to persevere in listening to the holy spirit. Those little whispers of the holy spirit telling me to put the world down and pick my faith up!! Everyday is an opportunity to listen to God over our flesh.

in the fact that I don’t know what my future holds, and that I need to have perseverance with letting Him take control and show me how to follow Him in spirit and in truth because honestly, not knowing where I’ll be in the future, whether or not I’ll be able to get a good paying job and purchase things I want, really scares me and I don’t want it to continue that way. I really want to be freed from self-righteousness and thinking that I have it all in control and that I know what’s best. I KNOW that I don’t. It’s just so so HARD to think otherwise, that God knows it all and that He’s not trying to harm me.😣
God bless u! I'm currently going through something very similar as what you described, thank u for your comment. It's amazing how God's thoughts are higher than ours and that He has plans to give us hope and a future, as his word says.

I feel like God is telling me to persevere and not give up because though things aren't currently going how I plan, it doesn't compare to the glory to be experienced if I don't give up in being devoted to my relationship with him and trusting him.

I know that he is asking me to persevere in the prayer closet. To take more time away from self and get down on my knees and spend time seeking Him deeply and stilling my mind so that I can hear the Spirit more clearly.

I know God wants more from me, exactly what that may be I’m praying for. I think He wants me to be more aware of this world and the people who reside and are so against all that I stand on in Christ. I’m aware that he illuminates me for His purpose. And I need to dig deeper, rather it be volunteering or visiting the elderly, feeding the hungry or showing my face with the smile I try hard to keep even when I’m not on the inside. Our Lord has shown me more of Him over the last two years than my whole life. There is purpose and I’m a willing vessel. Glory to God.🙏🏾 Help me Jesus, Amen Amen and Amen.

For most...I dont think we want to be any those bad soil. However, each one of us 😢 make a choice...or is it Distiny🤔?😏 So Lord, please help us especially my wicked heart ...ready to give up especially when difficult and hard times comes in. I dont know when I will ever learn and grow. Feel too wicked...since I have seen God's goodness yet I am not inlove with Jesus. Mentally I know you but not deep in my soul,heart, & mind. Lord help. Pls. I know I should not give up on you but my heart just dry, cold and lifeless. Amen

Beautiful message from the preaching of Jesus Christ. I Love the Channel and the direct preaching of our Lord Jesus Christs Word and Reward in Grace and salvation when in repentance. Thank you and i wish i could help more than watching and "Like'd" the message. Thank you guys for this message, it was really great! I know God is asking me to persevere through my schooling. It is really hard for me to keep my joy in the Lord when I am exhausted from working and getting up early. There is also many people in my school who go against the Lord, and it can be discouraging and difficult to shine his light to others. I definitely need prayer to just trust that the Lord will provide perseverance and strengthen my faith each day. Thank you guys again, your ministry is amazing. It is such a wonderful encouragement that helps lead me closer to the Lord.

I was just at church yesterday and the topic was Romans 1:18-26. What a great message! I am so happy to have received it with the word from Romans. God has been working things out in my heart recently as I have been challenged to live out my faith more boldly. Praise God for understanding!!
I was just reading this. This week
I needed to hear this message, its what im going through currently with the Lord. Mainly myself, but also with those around me who seem to not understand Jesus is Lord and His authority is what ultimately is in control of Our lives.
Its tough for some of Us to get past this part of Our faith, but persevering and surrendering to His will can allow Us to make it through. He is a good father and wont ever let Us down in the end.

I was pressed by the Spirit to say that I require perseverance in peacemaking. When there is an option to be angry or to refrain from anger, I want to be able to not have to choose not to be angry. Where that new nature is MY nature, not my second thought. Please pray for me as I pray for you all in the grace of Jesus Christ. God bless you brother for this message.
I really loved this episode now that I finally listened to it.
Met some Christians from Hawaii back in December of 2022.
They were the most down to earth and relatable people I’ve ever met.
On the other side of things, I like how Christianity was blended into history of the current times in this episode.

perseverance is the sum of everyday endurance, especially in Philippians 2:12“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." this meant that there is going to be a moment of up and downs through our walk in salvation
where do I place perseverance in my life is battling my mental health diagnosis, being a present father to my children before they grow up, and finishing uni. I have been in school for over 7 years and have 10 classes left to graduate. I am finding it difficult to follow through and do the work. On top of all that i feel like i need to take care of my health and on top of that pray for my fiance who does no longer follow Jesus. There's just so much to overcome.. overcoming doubt is probably the biggest thing...

Please keep using the "lone" track by kino, i missed hraring it. It reminds me of the first time i ever watched one of your videos ,i remember just connecting with what you were saying and appreciated how honest,pure and honest your preaching is. Furthermore just hearing that track combined with your refreshing preaching brought tears to my eyes and I've been a subscriber since then. I absolutely love what you guys are about and I'm always saying that my favourite preacher is Alex and that i wanna teach,live and be just like him. So yeah this comment sounds like I'm over praising Alex like he is a god or something but it's not , I'm just trying to truly express how much greatful i am to God for somebody like Alex.

I wanna know why John M acarthur was writing about that in a book rather than just speaking privately to the Pastor you (Alex) mention he's having the car journey with about he or one of his pastoral team being in close enough relationship with the guy who owns the liquor store to question him about many of his choices and the conflict between those things and what he says he believes
Brother I'm with you been watching for awhile but that part about the pastor saying "how could I let a Christian under my supervision live this way" is judge-mental and him trying to play god he has done his job by planting the seed it's gods job to water that seed, now I'm not saying you shouldn't rebuke your brother and sister in Christ but for you to have that thought your are trying to rush his walk with Christ if that man is truly a believer he knows what he's doing wrong and god will FINISH THE WORK STARTED IN HIM the pastor still falls short daily and does his set of sins so to point out he owns a liquor store and he left his wife that's basically magnifying his sin and that's not loving
