I received mine today and tried the pod with watermelon, and for me and my son it really taste like water with watermelon taste. I can agree with the issue about the bubbles in the straw but that's the reason why it works. You get water and air in your mouth and the air "smell" its way into your nose through the swell.
Wonder how it compares to rimming a bottle with lemon peel, etc
i got my air up yesterday and i had some spillage problems because i made it full and not to the neck
I've just got mine today. Look its better than ingesting cordial or drinking cola or fizzy pop it gives the water a but of a fragrance but still better than plain water for me. 😊
I bought the JMEY brand, the fragrance cup is also good
I received mine today. Gen 2: Sage (it is the light green colored one). I was very skeptical about this product.
The way it was sold to me, makes you almost believe like the water will taste almost like some kind of lemonade. It does absolutely not. If that is what you're looking for. Stop looking, it does not exist, unless you mix your water with something that will make it so.
I have developed a very strong sense of taste and smelling. I can practically pin point what ingredients are used in a dish and I am rarely wrong.
Well, while the Wild Berry scent seems strong for other people I spoke to about the Air Up, I can definitely smell it, I can most definitely taste that water tastes different than normally, but I can't taste the Wild Berry at all. I most definitely smell it very strongly, but it's not "tricking" my brain into taking the scent for taste, which is essentially what Air Up is "selling".
It is 100% activated as I hear and see the bubbles as well as I drink.
Can also confirm that despite the Gen 2 advertises that it is closing better and does not leak. It does in fact leak a little bit. No matter how tight you screw it shut.
As shown in the video, you need the closed lid in order for it to be completely shut and even then... there is some leakage. Do not put this in a bag together with other valuable things.
It will be ruined.
I have of course yet to try any other tastes, but so far I am very unimpressed and it sort of confirmed my skepticism.

I think it depends on the position you hold it in. I think holding it upwards will give the taste

@@5MinuteSchool Then I’m not sure. I guess it really depends on the person. You don’t need to sniff or anything cause most people naturally breathe in while drinking water so the taste comes.
got mine today and it works not a strong taste but enough to have a taste as for the bubbles stopping you from taking too much i dont think its something to take to the gym to quench your thirst its more just sipping through the day
i started the carnivore diet so my taste buds may have changed to make it more noticeable

It definitely works for me, it depends on the person. Some people are more sensitive to taste in others so for some people it's gonna work better and others it's not gonna work at all really

So far, I think the coffee one is the strongest for me. I would give it a level four in terms of it, being a strong taste to just drinking water on its own @@5MinuteSchool
@@5MinuteSchoolit psychological if you’ve a strong mind it won’t work it will taste like water , easily susceptible minds will taste the flavour because their mind tells them to .Just like how some can be hypnotised and others can’t .

Not for me personally, I wouldn't recommend it as it's quite expensive and I think it has quite a few flaws.

yes i got one for my birthday a few years ago and ive loved it it does have a nice taste to it and the pods last for a few days aswell
My mum ordered the same charcoal grey statter bottle, mines coming on Monday 5 February 2024 it will come with a lemon pod. Can't wait!. 😂

Btw the springy thing is because you have an active on mouth piece so the pod is always activated

I believe this is Gen 2
I got mine at wal-mart. I bought 2 one for my girlfriend and one for me. For some reason her's worked perfectly fine but mine didn't. I was able to go swap out mine for another one for free becasue of the warrenty.
Maybe your's is just defective like mine was.

Hey man, I thought that too but it seems on this bottle you don’t need to. The instructions at 1:02 say place the pod on and it works straightaway, and it also says pull the pod up to deactivate.

I definitely can't taste anything but water when I pull it up. When I just press it in place I get the smell of the pod. Its quite weak though...
The hole doesn’t put flavour in. It’s the smell to trick the brain
This is gen2 where you don't have to/can't pull it up. It's in place when you pit it in.
im sorry but im pretty sure not 100% sure that you had the pod down i think yuor supposed to have it up to get the flavor (correct me if im wrong)
I thought that too, but the instructions at 1:04 says for Flavour on, no need to pull pod up. Flavour off to pull the pod up. Other videos say to pull the pod up to taste but I think this is the new bottle.

i just got mine i got lemon rasberry flavor i honestly think it has flavor its just i think the flavor i got tastes bad over all pricey has flavor ( not as much as you think )

Honestly, if you really want a strong 💪🏾 flavoured bottle. Try Cirkul, even though it has sugars it has a strong taste. I have a air up bottle but personally I like air up wayyy more. I’d recommend lemon pod just for its strongness 😍

You dont need to pull the pod up to activate it.
Mine works u just need to have 0 expectations and get the right flavour

what flavors work the best
Ordered for my kids (8 and 12) and honestly a complete waste of time and money. Kids were super disappointed and could only get an unpleasant chemical taste, nothin like the delicious flavors advertised on the pods. Wife and I tried them and same little or no plesant taste sensation. My kids used them as a water bottle... in fact the trend went around the school and after a few weeks was dead as none of the kids really enjoyed. End of the day parents paid for a very expensive (leaky) water bottle. When you also look at packaging and waste... this is worse than coffee pods!!!

He doesn’t have good suction because the straw is all the way at the bottom bottom of the cup. He needs to be a better reviewer.

When you get air bubbles in the straw it means you put the straw on wrong. 😂
Hey :) Actually the website says there is supposed to be air bubbles as thats how the scent/taste is transmitted. It is called air up after all 😂

The thing is that I'm impressed that it works but I don't like the fact that you are sucking lot of air along with the water. Not a satisfying feel and a whole lot of effort to sip a bit of water.
