Thank you for sharing this ❤️ I am 33 years old and a horrible singer, but singing with a voice that people actually enjoy hearing was something I have wanted so badly since childhood. I gave up years ago, but you have inspired me to maybe search for a vocal coach and try again. For me, it will never be a career, I’ll never be famous and I will probably never preform but singing brings me so much joy when I’m not beating myself for being bad at it. I just want to enjoy it and you showed me that there is hope!
It’s amazing how much less tense her throat is by the end. It starts out so harsh and tense then by the end she’s got a wide open throat and the vibrato is smooth and consistent.
i've got an extremely annoying fear of failure which stops me from starting new things because i'm afraid of the stage where you're inherently shitty cuz you're a beginner... this reminded me of just how much you can improve if you practice so thanks!!!
YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME POTENTIAL!!!! Sure you can go on vocal training but everyone has to have their own style because when you come out of vocal training you're gonna sound like everyone else there and it isnt going to sound natural.
I don't know why you would willing to tell people that you gave up on something that could’ve helped your singing and you could do it but you were too lazy keep trying!
She improved like 500% in just two months, incredible! I was actually worried she was going to damage her voice in those early clips, then sounded like a totally different person at the end!
these comments are so oddly sad... people being surprised that boyfriends can accept you for you... people being surprised that you can build singing skill...
As for the latter bit... I think the reason why is that theres a lie and misconception that's common in (mostly Western) media that singing is some sort of deity-granted ability. It's sad, because if people try it and sound bad, they accept they dont have "the gift" and give up. When really, like most things, its just a skill people have to develop. It's pretty frustrating to be complimented on an ability as if it's luck or chance, rather than hard work that got you to that skill level.

This is so eye opening. I try a note twice and immediately drop a register thinking I can't do it well. LOVED seeing the process and all the adjustments along the way
I honestly didn’t see it happening in the beginning. It was so far off from being comfortable. Then that cute section with your bf happened and it sounded audibly different. At the end the transitions became clean and it was SO much stabler than even the attempt right before. This is hugely inspirational. Thanks so much for sharing the absolute beginning because without it it wouldn’t have meant much.
She managed to not only hit the notes properly with a more relaxed tone but even controlled her voice and the range?????? That’s incredibly hard even with practice. She’s amazing
Fun Fact: Everyone can sing, you just have to either: 1. Be talented right from the get go. 2. Practice and develop the skill. Trust me everyone has the potential to be a good singer.
They are people that actually can't do the right notes when they sing. Don't want to sound dramatic but I don't think they will be able to sing with practice, they have bad ears from the beginning. Vocal cords are an important element in singing too, which explains why there are families where everyone can sing, it's genetic. I believe that if you have bad vocal cords and/or bad ears, you won't be able to sing no matter what.
@@iminyourbucketlist113 Ear training is there for a reason. Your vocal range has limitations, of course, but it can expand a bit with training. Some have it easier than others, but even the most tone deaf person that exists can train their ears and learn to sing right:) Then there's the whole thing about voice timbre, which you can modify as well to some extend, but that's mostly personal taste. If the intonation and the phrasing is great, you can sing really nicely compared to most.
Now I know why singers move their hands the way they do--they're reminding themselves of all the vocal motions they've been practicing! Thank you for sharing this, it was fascinating

The one mistake I see people making when singing chandelier is when they’re literally yelling and that’s when you start to go out of breath. I can tell when I’m yelling instead of singing because my chest starts to hurt, it’s good to see how she started to understand that on the third clip but she’s still yelling on the long held notes, I haven’t finished the video yet and I hope that she starts to use her chest voice instead of yelling once it’s finished
Honey it's not chest voice. You can't sing from your chest. She keeps singing from her chest and that's why it sounds bad. She needs to sing from her stomach. When you do this it flows better.
It should never hurt to sing. If you have to tense up to hit a high note it isn't going to sound optimal. Practice until you can hit and hold the notes while still being relaxed in your throat and chest. Also practice breathing (singing while lying on your back tends to fix breathing issues naturally) and warm ups. Good job though!
THAT much improvement only after 2 months? you're amazing.., kpop fans who defend their biases should see this to know that improving and progress is up to the singers themselves

these comments are so oddly sad... people being surprised that boyfriends can accept you for you... people being surprised that you can build singing skill...

She managed to not only hit the notes properly with a more relaxed tone but even controlled her voice and the range?????? That’s incredibly hard even with practice. She’s amazing
Fun Fact: Everyone can sing, you just have to either:
1. Be talented right from the get go.
2. Practice and develop the skill.
Trust me everyone has the potential to be a good singer.
Don't give me hope 😂
They are people that actually can't do the right notes when they sing. Don't want to sound dramatic but I don't think they will be able to sing with practice, they have bad ears from the beginning. Vocal cords are an important element in singing too, which explains why there are families where everyone can sing, it's genetic. I believe that if you have bad vocal cords and/or bad ears, you won't be able to sing no matter what.
@@iminyourbucketlist113 Ear training is there for a reason. Your vocal range has limitations, of course, but it can expand a bit with training. Some have it easier than others, but even the most tone deaf person that exists can train their ears and learn to sing right:)
Then there's the whole thing about voice timbre, which you can modify as well to some extend, but that's mostly personal taste. If the intonation and the phrasing is great, you can sing really nicely compared to most.

Thats what she starts to work on part of the way through the video
Another thing is people trying to sing in a key that doesn’t work for them. Your belting range only goes so far
Projection is SUPER important, you right chief. Using your diaphragm more often and practicing breath control, really helps.
