Crafting tip: No need to hold off crafting low level stuff. You can deconstruct it to regain special mods. Speaking of which, always deconstruct your weapons unless you are cash-strapped.
I'm loving Andromeda so far. It looks beautiful. The title track is awesome listen to. The combat is meaty. And there's so much to do with your character as far as leveling, grinds, research, and looting. I've only played 4 hours and I am so tempted to start a fresh character because I'm just starting to get a grasp on how to Mass Effect in Andromeda.
I like story and gameplay, but all the characters are bland and unintersting with hardly any unique character traits. Andromeda is only populated by Kaidans...
What do you find boring about the gameplay? The blink melee animation and forward dashing make it really satisfying to pull off combos. Are you just hiding behind obstacles and peeking off shots when the enemy does the same?
You forgot to mention that you can download the Mass Effect Andromeda App on your phone so you can send strike teams and collect your rewards even when you're not in front of your system
I bought this game not having a clue about anything about it, review or gameplay wise. I absolutely loved it! Yes, there were problems and the facial animations were wonky, but that didn't change my outlook of the game. I absolutely love space futuristic style games. Especially if its exploration based too. This was a game that actually surpassed my expectations because of how much the game was and not having a clue about it. Also, that weapon swap tip... thank you... omg... I had no idea...
I like that if you use augmentations on gear or weapons when crafting you don't lose those augmentations for ever. When you level up you can deconstruct the lower level crafted items and receive some materials and the augmentations that were used on that item for reuse.
The game was trash because of the bugs, glitches, crashes and quests not working properly. The story is boring as hell and villains are laughably incompetent idiots. BUT other that that and the first 10% of the game being super boring and maddening before you get some Nomad upgrades and start understanding all the systems AND THEN the game becomes fun.
With all the hate surrounding the game I expected it to suck but it's one of my favourite games I have ever played. Also, this is my favourite mass effect.
Mass Effect Andromeda That's a very strong and invalid statement. The game's been out for 2 days and it's already your FAVORITE Mass Effect game? Fuck off.
batakhwi I can't speak for HZD cuz its Ps4 exclusive as I'm on pc but Nioh and Nier are both equally as addicting to ME:A in my opinion. All three could definitely last you a year for just two playthroughs from what I've seen so far
I just bought this game for $10, wow have I been listening to the wrong people. I am genuinely enjoying this game. It's fun, graphically amazing and gameplay is buttery smooth.
I just bought it for 5 dollars. I’m easily having 50 dollars worth of fun. Can’t believe it got so much hate. I hope they retain the combat system for whatever is next.
@@MT-th8ox Got a physical copy for 20 bucks just to sit on my desk for a whole year before I had the rig to play it. Still totally worth it. Would have payed full price 2 month after launch if I wasn't a broke college kid back then. Half the hysteria was the botched launch with all the bugs. And negativity spreads like the pandemic, even if 90% of the jank is patched in the 1st 3-9 months. Other is the toneshift. Andromeda as way more lighearted and less hard sci-fi than the previous 3 games. And yeah, those 3 really set the bar high that does not mean Andromeda is not a decent game. In fact a very good one. Butthurt snowflakes gonna snowflake. And that makes me rage. Really wanted that cancelled Quarrian Ark DLC
After the patches it got much better so i get it why people were angry but now it s close to a masterpiece for me and i am so confused that people still hate this game. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and got in love with mass effect so i preordered trilogy legendaryedition my first preorder ever and i am having the time of my life with the trilogy. So sad they had to stop working on the dlc because of all the haters that probably didn t even played the game. And probably we will never know how the story continues. Saaaad.
Here's a very important tip that I didn't notice for a LONG time: When you are in the inventory screen, yiu can break down weapons and armor you won't use or sell and get some of the resources out of it, as well as any mods you put into it if you made it. If you don't need the credits, * break down your extra gear instead of selling it.* This helps a lot with getting crafting materials.
I'm playing this on Ps4 the facial aren't witcher 3 level but the animation are superb and hardly ever fuxks up however the writing is a little too light hearted and corny for my liking but its not bad at all either way this game, does not deserve the hate it gets people hate change to much
Just got this game on a steam sale. Like many others I listened to all the hate and avoided it. I’m playing it now in 2021 and I gotta tell you this game is a lot of fun. The combat is so much more satisfying and tight than the previous games The facial animations are kind of weird my character sometimes makes these whacky “the sims” game level of over-animated. Also I did a really crude/fast custom character and he look like a hairy ballsack from some angles 💀 but I heard you can still customize them any time so I’ll go and fix him once it REALLY bothers me
This was the first Mass Effect game I played and honestly my Fav, the original trilogy granted does have a stronger story and very interesting characters but the overall game play and the ability to change your player style with the profiles in Andromeda is just so much better… Shame this game came out before it was finished and got such a bad rep, wanted that next game so much!!
@@Broccoliclown Right now you play a completely different game than when it came out though. Back then it was for every 30 minutes of playing you gotta do 30-45 minutes of searching for a workaround because the quest isnt working and loading previous save file does nothing. They fixed it really well. I returned to the game remembering it was trash after I completed Legendary edition of the trilogy and I was amazed at how good it is compared to then.
@@Dark_Voice I see,no wonder i saw a lot of comments ppl trashing about the game 4 years back.I finished the LE trilogy last month. And Steam has an offer on Andromeda, i just started playing as we speak. I did not expected that it would be so much diff vibe than the original trilogy. So far I'm enjoying it.
I have finished this game, and I enjoyed it so much, I am starting again. I think I missed some bits anyway (with it being my first attempt) so I'll be able to complete 💯%
@@tredausmaxima I understand there was a lot of glitches and stuff but overall I enjoyed it. I also played it after it was already out for a while. Just my opinion
Yeah I have some tips, always make sure to use your scanner to get research points cause that can help you a lot when trying to get a specific weapon or armor also I found that the best combination of weapons to use for me at least was the Assault Rifles and Shotguns. And one last tip, if you are on a planet and trying to find some good loot chests go to the remnant structures (not the remnant vault consoles) and theirs usually a chest somewhere
When you start a new game make sure ur character doesn't look like she has to take a shit in every cutscene or you will start over about 6 hours in when you can't take it anymore
Always search for hidden rooms in the Remnant Vaults. These relic cores really are worth the search. Heleus Armor lvl X + Helmet :D Damage and Damage resist in one thing and it really looks good!
My advice is that when you first get onto a planet, that you immediately drive (or walk) in a sraight line until you hit the wall of infinity (map barrier) or some other barrier, then go left or right until you circle the whole thing. Thus ensuring that you will find everything.
Here's a tip - play it how you want to! I for one plan on keeping crafting to a MINIMUM. I like to get involved in the story, and simply upgrade my skills and base guns as best I can.
I'm pretty new to the series. I played the ME:3 campaign and then I quit at the ending which really disappointed me. I didn't have the Mass Effect 2 context and it still sucked and felt bad. So others probably know more or have higher expectations.
These are probably the same people who were super hyped for no man sky and feel the need to focus their hate on a kinda similar game emphasis on the word kinda since no game can be as bad as no man sky
ProTip: Research the Augments you REALLY want FIRST out of any Research projects. Because that unlocks them for you to find as loot in the world as you play the game on dead enemies and random loot chests. Otherwise, if you research them late in the game, you only get the one copy of that Augment you researched. Crafting early allows you the chance to build up a number of the Super Rare Augments for toying with in the late game, when you actually have armor and weapons worth crafting.
Ari After 15 hours in the game I can garanty you that it is worth it. Don't listen to the reviews, the face animations don't really bother me and the gameplay is amazing
yeah, mass effect is kind of 80% story, but facial animations wont bother you because you will be busy running here and there to help people and killing aliens on all different ways, i've like 11 hours and im loving it, on gameplay its obvious the best mass effect, on story i cant tell because i havent finished yet, totally worth it
Ari don't listen to the hate I'm loving this game so far. More like a open world mass effect with better combat, graphics, options, decent characters while older mass effect games were more linear action adventure with better story and characters. Story on this one is more you're a guy helping get the andromeda initiative be successful at its mission and you actually see and feel like you're making a difference as the game progresses in all its vastness.
Ari if you liked mass effect 1 and 3 it's easily worth it, the nomad is like a functional batmobile more than Mako honestly and I've found the companions pretty cool so far (I'm about 5hrs in)
Rafael Santana When you're at the end of the game, you start to become really OP, you fully control your powers and you know how to kill most of the bosses so the final boss can look tricky at first glimp, but when you're into it, it's really easy
to be fair, this game is ok, combat is fun and more smooth. Characters are pretty interesting. The story is pretty simple, not interesting but its decent. I feel like this game can be further improved: facial animations, dialogue options be a spectrum of light-sided, gray area, dark-sided to be more dynamic. Otherwise its a decent game as a spinoff to the original series.
thanks, I didn't even know about the damn strike teams or the email missions? I did immediately recognize the crafting/research idea- near identical to syndicate wars upgrades. glad I watched you vid man. :D
I thought the crafting system was a little complicated at first, but once I got the hang of it I loved it. It's actually pretty straight forward, compared to some other RPG's I've played.
Thank you for this video! It was really helpful as I feel the game itself didn't give you alot of in depth information or tutorials. Definitely going to take your advice!
I don't have tip but a favorite biotic combo, using singularity upgrading it to the explosive part (igniter) and using Shockwave upgrading it with extra distance, causes a devastating and very satisfying effect that can't be denied iets glory.
I really enjoyed the battles, but not so much with the story. Please BioWare remaster ME:Trilogy into something like this but with better face animations lol
Overload followed with Throw is a solid combo. Not only does it blast an enemy through the air, but it lays down a field of electricity to cause AoE damage to enemies nearby too. It's one of my go to moves when I'm not Charging all over the place. Vanguard FTW!
Everyone saying this game is shit... when they've never played it😐... walking dead had shitty face animation a and that game was the shit... so give this game a chance😕
The problem is that it's a Bioware game. It's supposed to be triple A quality, and instead the game looks worse than their previous game, Dragon Age Inquisition (which I personally did like). I'm a few hours in and have seen a lot of glitches and bugs. The dialogue is often stiff and awkward, and doesn't feel at the same quality as previous Bioware installments. But in all fairness, it's EAs fault this game isn't what it could be. They forced Bioware to release Andromeda when it wasn't polished yet, or so I've heard.
love it how so many people hated on this game saying its biowares worst rpg ever when they didn't even start to experience the game now everyones playing it everyone loves it like wtf lol
how do you know people don't like the game while they haven't even played it? you don't. it's like saying "you're gay" without even knowing you. as crashlong said "the internet is a very strange place smh"
My point was that people are giving the game slack and saying things like it's the worst rpg created from bioware when they haven't even played the game so you basically just told me what my statement was in the first place
Point 3 On highest difficulties, I think that tech skill tree is the most necessary: overload, team support (heals ryder), relict iv and tactical cloak (life saver against cardinal). I maxed singularity and I also have throw I put some points in combat too, to take regeneration skill. I have all profiles, but with favorites (F1 to F4 keys) I only use 3: adept, engineer and infiltrator. Engineer for the tech cool down, adept for biotic echo and infiltrator for the extra damage and seeing enemies beyond obstacles.
1. This isn’t Mass Effect 2. The engine is terrible for the game 3. Character creation is as ugly as they come 4. Two new aliens and a new geth species you will encounter on every single world with copy pasted caves 5. Only a few active powers so don’t get your expectations up for funnier gameplay. More empty collection tasks if you don’t get enough of that from MMOs. 6. Write down notes of the story as you go along as you won’t remember it a week after game completion 7. You’ll spend more time driving around on open worlds than any of the actual content 8. Enemies will spawn at the same place out of thin air on your way forward and back. 9. They took out the ‘kick-ass space novel-esque’ stories ala ME2 and replaced it with nothing memorable 10. Play original trilogy instead
"reconnaissance" is the ideal first pod as it unlocks loot crates (materials and gear with a chance at being ultra rare) around the forward stations you'll be dropping anyways...don't leave an area without scanning it...to refresh the stock in any store, save and reload. to refresh stock in tempest(materials will change) open star map and return to tempest
Ellis B i stayed away from everything before starting to play. no trailers, previews and opinionpieces (except the ugly faces, bad animations). now i am enjoying a game i know basicly nothing about. untainted by opinions
3 Years and £4 later than most people, I'm now playing ME:A and enjoying it. The R&D system made sense but I think I have Warframe to thank for that with it's very similar blueprint - build stuff system. Thanks for the all the tips in this video, especially the one about how to change weapon easily!
if you go to the medbay, in the Tempest, there's a console where you can respec Ryder or anyone on the team. Each subsequent respec is more expensive than the last, the 1st being like 20 credits
Dale Doback you clearly haven't played many games ,also check witcher 2 starting scenes and watch the facial animation , I like Andromeda but don't mean i hate other game to make it look better
Aman Pathak I'm talking about environments idiot not facial animation. Mass Effect is top of the class when it comes to that but you probably haven't even played it so why bother arguing with some pleb
your statement is probably slanted and disingenuous. Horizon the witcher etc..name them have got phenomenal environments . The moment you bring up the witcher you lose the argument. Skellige on ultra settings on pc is sublime. I am pretty sure you can fanboy andromeda without impuning other games that are industry standards. Here will be a simple test. Will mass effect Andromedas environments be deemed better , more diverse and more beautiful than the witchers. I highly doubt it .
I tend to use my Adept profile as well. I like to focus shielded enemies by throwing a Singularity at them, and then using Throw and Lance as Biotic Detonations to wreack havoc on them; my squaddies can handle unshielded or armored enemies, and I design them so.
easy thing to miss because it only pops up on the screen for a few seconds occasionally, and usually during a fight so you don't notice it. You can holster your weapon by holding down the pad button on the PS4. Unlike previous games, they created a way to holster without entering a menu, but don't actually tell you this except for brief flashes at the end of a fight.
definitely not me, if you just bought into the hate and wont give it a try it is your loss, seriously man play it on Ea/Origin access and then form your opinion.(btw the game gets even a lot better after the 10 hours) and it hooked me within the first hour.
Callie Wells buying a game that a racist person had a small part in and agreeing with a racist person are 2 different things. no one is agreeing with the guy so no one is "supporting" him
William Rob except the damn company not firing him for those racist comments. fortunately they let him go, but he If was still there I wouldn't have bought the game.
Callie Wells Ever watch Lethal Weapon, Mad Max or Passion of the Christ? I have some bad news for you. Honestly, when did people's shitty attitudes and opinions become something it is acceptable to punish them for? Who gives a shit? This game has problems, but it's not terrible. Mel Gibson is a shitty person, but We were soldiers was still pretty good. Dan Cathy was a homphobe, but damn if I don't still enjoy chick fil a. Freedom of speech and religion shouldn't be imposed on, by government or by self righteous shit heads.
If we all stuck to our morals and didn't fund bad people, we would all die of malnutrition or be entirely self sufficient. Every major company in the world has people who have abused their power in some way, the difference here is that the racist in question was racist towards whites instead of non-whites, and because its trendy to be a white nationalist at the moment people decided to be picky in which monster they chose not to support.
30 hours into Andromeda, watching your video, literally did not know that you could send NPC crews out on Strike Team missions. I genuinely thought it was multiplayer only. Thanks!
while playing you can press the r3 button or the right analog stick and you character will go the the right instead of being in the left and this can be useful for cover
By the way, the boss at 6:41 was one of my favorite bosses in the series. Took me a while to beat as an Adept, and the Cardinal moving all around the field kept me constantly having to change position, switch targets, and focus on what was happening on the battlefield.
Im loving this game and its complex level systems!! I love the feature to let your aid level themselves too because i can focus on me an all the other faucets of the game. Im loving it an watching this being just getting my ship hypes me up even more!! Amazing graphics an gameplay to me

Monki McAwesome I disagree on the characters. None of the characters have come off bland to me.
Actually, you get the reward crates with that APP but cannot open the crates unless you are in the game itself.
Also, that weapon swap tip... thank you... omg... I had no idea...
and if you are playing on PC you can do that with the center wheel on most mouse.
I like that if you use augmentations on gear or weapons when crafting you don't lose those augmentations for ever. When you level up you can deconstruct the lower level crafted items and receive some materials and the augmentations that were used on that item for reuse.
All that mainstream hate, but hidden behind it was a good game. Niice.
For the #1, you don't need to wait for higher level gear to add mods. You can deconstruct old gear in your inventory to get that stuff back.
With all the hate surrounding the game I expected it to suck but it's one of my favourite games I have ever played. Also, this is my favourite mass effect.
Same, now I can actually do side quest with out getting frustrated. Thank you Compass!
Side note: ME3 side quest were very annoying to find.
Mass Effect Andromeda That's a very strong and invalid statement. The game's been out for 2 days and it's already your FAVORITE Mass Effect game? Fuck off.
im curious how do you compare its enjoy ability to horizon zero dawn, nioh , or nier automatata ?
Did you even play Mass Effect 2?! I mean, I respect your opinion, but Mass Effect 2 was a fucking masterpiece... This game is just, decent...
batakhwi I can't speak for HZD cuz its Ps4 exclusive as I'm on pc but Nioh and Nier are both equally as addicting to ME:A in my opinion. All three could definitely last you a year for just two playthroughs from what I've seen so far
It's my first mass effect, and i really needed some 'orientation', thanks Gameranx!
Saaaad.
@@BoxingDawg Lol people were hating on it because of it's bad story and characters not just bugs
I cant help but love this game; growing up reading Heinlein, Adams, Asimov etc this game is like living in those worlds, its like pulp sci-fi.
Is it weird that this video has convinced me to buy it over the Before you buy video? haha. Nice video 👍
The cover system was actually present in Mass Effect 1, it's just fine-tuned in Andromeda.
I know. It's just sad that you have to tell people if you don't want to get it, to go hide behind something.
the square to switch weapons has made my day
I'm playing this on Ps4 the facial aren't witcher 3 level but the animation are superb and hardly ever fuxks up however the writing is a little too light hearted and corny for my liking but its not bad at all either way this game, does not deserve the hate it gets people hate change to much
Just got this game on a steam sale. Like many others I listened to all the hate and avoided it. I’m playing it now in 2021 and I gotta tell you this game is a lot of fun. The combat is so much more satisfying and tight than the previous games
The facial animations are kind of weird my character sometimes makes these whacky “the sims” game level of over-animated.
Strong rumors a new game will come
Same
That square tip tho. MVP just of that
Playing the game now. It may not be a masterpiece but it sure as hell isn't the fiasco some people made it out to be.
wolfm33 yeah I bought it like a week ago and I’m really enjoying it
@@Broccoliclown Right now you play a completely different game than when it came out though.
I’ve just started this game today and this video is very helpful as there was definitely a few things I didn’t know about. Great video.
I have finished this game, and I enjoyed it so much, I am starting again. I think I missed some bits anyway (with it being my first attempt) so I'll be able to complete 💯%
andrew you fit gameranx like a glove. love your delivery and presentation style. keep it up man!
I loved this game. Really disappointed that people trashed it so much that they won’t make a sequel
I’m sure you know by now, but there’s a new mass effect on the horizon and is supposed to be a sequel to the trilogy and andromeda
It was trashed for good reasons
@@tredausmaxima I understand there was a lot of glitches and stuff but overall I enjoyed it. I also played it after it was already out for a while. Just my opinion
Let’s go islanders
Yeah I have some tips, always make sure to use your scanner to get research points cause that can help you a lot when trying to get a specific weapon or armor also I found that the best combination of weapons to use for me at least was the Assault Rifles and Shotguns. And one last tip, if you are on a planet and trying to find some good loot chests go to the remnant structures (not the remnant vault consoles) and theirs usually a chest somewhere
When you start a new game make sure ur character doesn't look like she has to take a shit in every cutscene or you will start over about 6 hours in when you can't take it anymore
loving this game
Saransh Minocha Then why have you come on youtube to look at more of it. zero sense made
Saransh Minocha have you even played it?
Knight 77
duuh i hate it
Knight 77 same here. I wonder when we are going to get DLC for it. Or are they just gonna focus on animations.
No Filler Gaming Knight is it any good
Always search for hidden rooms in the Remnant Vaults.
Thus ensuring that you will find everything.
facts:
Those who played the game love it
Those who haven't hate it
Official Gangkage lmao facts!
Official Gangkage I played the trial and was disappointed
Exactly!
People hate it because the lead developer is a racist fucking piece of shit
bob2000and10 He doesnt have a major role in the game, i mean its a game about diversity there's nothing he could do to change that
Here's a tip - play it how you want to! I for one plan on keeping crafting to a MINIMUM. I like to get involved in the story, and simply upgrade my skills and base guns as best I can.
Someone fill me in; why do people hate this game so much besides animations. Just curious.
TeutonFox because they aren't real mass effect fans and like to talk crap.
I'm pretty new to the series. I played the ME:3 campaign and then I quit at the ending which really disappointed me. I didn't have the Mass Effect 2 context and it still sucked and felt bad. So others probably know more or have higher expectations.
Ok good. I was pretty worried about the game. Thanks for the feedback! Got it on PC and it looks great so far.
These are probably the same people who were super hyped for no man sky and feel the need to focus their hate on a kinda similar game emphasis on the word kinda since no game can be as bad as no man sky
+Dark Rogue and the fact that mass effect is more story focused and actually has a ending
This video makes me want to buy Andromeda to be honest.
Holding square to change weapons is the best shit ever. Can't believe they never told us this in the game
Great vid. I am really enjoying the game. ;)
I notice that you can switch the side that the camera is on. Took them all this time, but we finally can switch four games later.
to be fair, this game is ok, combat is fun and more smooth.
Loving this game so far. :D
I thought the crafting system was a little complicated at first, but once I got the hang of it I loved it. It's actually pretty straight forward, compared to some other RPG's I've played.
I don't care what people say, I'm gonna buy this
I'm 17 hours in and your video made me want to go play even more, this game is amazing (playing at 1440p on ultra )
Hey Gameranx!
Shay Poulicakos they say hi
Thank You, Your videos are entertaining and informative. Even years later, job well done.
mass effect andromeda is the best mass effect game since mass effect 3
Nizar El-Zarif that's not the best Me, the worst by far
the best mass effect game since 2012 lol
max bernard wrong, it's ME2
... He said SINCE mass effect 3. There haven't BEEN any more mass effect games since 3.
MeldinX2 exactly me3 was a flop
Most of it was really helpful. Thanks.
Six hours in the game, I love it already. But things you've showed here will make it even better to play.
glad to hear it!
I personally really enjoyed this game it’s pretty rare finding games with actual replay value nowadays.
Thank you for this video! It was really helpful as I feel the game itself didn't give you alot of in depth information or tutorials. Definitely going to take your advice!
"I can't imagine only fighting from sitting at a spot behind cover" the. You have not played the higher difficulties my friend
I don't have tip but a favorite biotic combo, using singularity upgrading it to the explosive part (igniter) and using Shockwave upgrading it with extra distance, causes a devastating and very satisfying effect that can't be denied iets glory.
The face animations are strange because muscles experience atrophy in space, the human face has 48 muscles
shouldn't be an excuse for the devs to make it look weird
Its more realistic if you think about it.
lol but they get pretty bad sometimes, still super excited to play game looks excellent!
The Witness then how does the character still have their normal strength? they should be weak in earth or any other planet
They have the suits for that
$10.00 Steam sale. I've never played any of the Mass Effect titles but I love open world games. I'm downloading it now.
I really enjoyed the battles, but not so much with the story. Please BioWare remaster ME:Trilogy into something like this but with better face animations lol
Well, they did it. Well.... They said they did. I see no difference lol
I'm more upset over the crappy writing. I could easily look past the animations.
Walking Dead had a style, and wasn't aiming for realism like this game. the facial expressions were still better than this anyway, lol
Slimeball that's a good point...
They forced Bioware to release Andromeda when it wasn't polished yet, or so I've heard.
isnt that game supposed to look like a comic book tho
I have been playing for 3 days, and I am learning myself...... this HELPED!!! Thanks.
*Overall, the game is good due to the combat and vastness.*
- Me
this was super helpful. I didn't know where my quarters were, so I didn't know how to access some of that deluxe edition stuff I paid for. thank you
love it how so many people hated on this game saying its biowares worst rpg ever when they didn't even start to experience the game now everyones playing it everyone loves it like wtf lol
James Rea the internet is a very strange place smh
Yes your very correct on that one haha
how do you know people don't like the game while they haven't even played it? you don't. it's like saying "you're gay" without even knowing you. as crashlong said "the internet is a very strange place smh"
My point was that people are giving the game slack and saying things like it's the worst rpg created from bioware when they haven't even played the game so you basically just told me what my statement was in the first place
how the hell do you know that people say that while they haven't played the game? you don't
Point 3
On highest difficulties, I think that tech skill tree is the most necessary: overload, team support (heals ryder), relict iv and tactical cloak (life saver against cardinal).
I maxed singularity and I also have throw
I put some points in combat too, to take regeneration skill. I have all profiles, but with favorites (F1 to F4 keys) I only use 3: adept, engineer and infiltrator. Engineer for the tech cool down, adept for biotic echo and infiltrator for the extra damage and seeing enemies beyond obstacles.
1. This isn’t Mass Effect
2. The engine is terrible for the game
3. Character creation is as ugly as they come
4. Two new aliens and a new geth species you will encounter on every single world with copy pasted caves
5. Only a few active powers so don’t get your expectations up for funnier gameplay. More empty collection tasks if you don’t get enough of that from MMOs.
6. Write down notes of the story as you go along as you won’t remember it a week after game completion
7. You’ll spend more time driving around on open worlds than any of the actual content
8. Enemies will spawn at the same place out of thin air on your way forward and back.
9. They took out the ‘kick-ass space novel-esque’ stories ala ME2 and replaced it with nothing memorable

Last 50 comments: I JUST bought the game, and it seems ok ;)
3 Years and £4 later than most people, I'm now playing ME:A and enjoying it. The R&D system made sense but I think I have Warframe to thank for that with it's very similar blueprint - build stuff system.
Thanks for the all the tips in this video, especially the one about how to change weapon easily!
I love this game...
if you go to the medbay, in the Tempest, there's a console where you can respec Ryder or anyone on the team. Each subsequent respec is more expensive than the last, the 1st being like 20 credits

Useful tips without spoilers, these videos are great!
People can bitch about facial animations all they want, the planet environments are gorgeous and shit on any other open world game (including witcher)
Dale Doback what about horizons environments? its the best ive seen ever personally although I havent played this game
Milbox R I'd say HZD may be slightly better I'll give you that but it's up there, the planets are gorgeous.
your statement is probably slanted and disingenuous.
Thank you so much for the list. 1st time ME gamer here, so again thanx a bunch!
Let's be honest, people are only gonna buy this game for the romance.
jeevan shine im not
no not really
I'm not. I've never cared for the romance options in the series
why would they buy the game for that and not just look it up on youtube?
jeevan shine I don't exactly think that's how it works.
I tend to use my Adept profile as well. I like to focus shielded enemies by throwing a Singularity at them, and then using Throw and Lance as Biotic Detonations to wreack havoc on them; my squaddies can handle unshielded or armored enemies, and I design them so.
Waiting for pirated version
ReinelAntonio JuradoMariano who cares
ReinelAntonio JuradoMariano no one cares virgin
easy thing to miss because it only pops up on the screen for a few seconds occasionally, and usually during a fight so you don't notice it. You can holster your weapon by holding down the pad button on the PS4. Unlike previous games, they created a way to holster without entering a menu, but don't actually tell you this except for brief flashes at the end of a fight.
Things to know 1-10 don't buy this.
Eric Wann i bought it
I've put around 20 hours into it already. It's a really fun game, and I don't regret spending any money on it.
Didja even play it?
Eric Wann I bought it too it's amazing
This game could be GOTY as far as I care. I'd never give my money to SJWs.
My favourite combo is pulling the enemies towards me and then throwing them away, so fun lol
Things to consider when starting a new game : a refund
Slimeball i dont need one
Me neither
Slimeball says some virgin kid playing and uploading flash games lmfao
definitely not me, if you just bought into the hate and wont give it a try it is your loss, seriously man play it on Ea/Origin access and then form your opinion.(btw the game gets even a lot better after the 10 hours) and it hooked me within the first hour.
Gameplay was tedious and the story was pretty bad imo. I'm not "giving into the hate."
Regarding the quick switch of weapons, I'm pretty sure I sure that tip on the first tutorial world. Habitat 7
No.1 thing to know when starting a new game... you just supported a racist :)
This will have to be my next Let's Play!
The game has it's faults but most of them have been fixed , and you still get a game that's bigger than the other 3 games combined .
By the way, the boss at 6:41 was one of my favorite bosses in the series. Took me a while to beat as an Adept, and the Cardinal moving all around the field kept me constantly having to change position, switch targets, and focus on what was happening on the battlefield.
Always go with combat abilities because you can you fitness to make you able to carry more weapons
Also, to create your character before starting the game, unlike the original trilogy, you gotta go down the main menu to select character creations.
Im loving this game and its complex level systems!! I love the feature to let your aid level themselves too because i can focus on me an all the other faucets of the game. Im loving it an watching this being just getting my ship hypes me up even more!! Amazing graphics an gameplay to me
This looks amazing. I've never played a Mass Effect game, but this looks really great. I'm sold.
