    Another forgotten great playoff performance was Earnest Byner in the 87 AFC championship. Obviously he's most remembered in that game for the infamous fumble as he was going in to score, but people forget that he had 15 carries for 67 yards and 7 catches for 120 yards while scoring 2 TD's in that same game.

    Anthony Carter's performance against the 80's 49ers, who were a year away from winning back 2 back SB's, was arguably the most underrated all-time playoff performance in NFL playoff history. In a game that featured YOUNG Jerry Rice, Steve Young, a still in there prime Joe Montana and Ronnie Lott, it was Anthony Carter who was the best player on the field THAT day.

      Underrated playoffs altogether. Carter's 2 TD game vs. The Saints in the wildcard is slept on too

    Terrell Owens is a Hall Of Famer cause he still is was and always will be a BadAss WR in his Prime back then to now!

      Always showed up ready to get the ball and make plays. Always. That's goat type player with his talent. Rice is goat but Owens is right there with anyone who could be ranked 2nd. Owens over moss even for me. I like randy, but he didn't try alot of the time. Can't have that.

    The 2000 Ravens defense was a dominant force.

      Nowhere near as good as the 85 bears or the 1984 San Francisco 49ers or 89 team

    • @kenw2225
      @kenw2225 7 днів тому +1

      True. But 2011 niners were dominant also. Not all dominant Def win sb. 2000 ravens is comparable to 89 niners. 89 niners were prob best team ever. So defense didn't even have to be elite, they still would have won sb. I think there's plenty of elite defenses , that would be all time greats if their offense had been better or in 2011 niners case, if you didn't have Ginn Jr get hurt and use Kyle Williams on punt returns. Williams was actually good on the punts he didn't fumble that game. But 2 unimaginable fumbles was glitch in the matrix type scenario. I remember alot of steeler defenses elite in Polamalu era. Seahwaks 2013 , denver in champ bailey era. Giants with LT. I'm a niners fan so that's why I'm on board with 89 team being all time defense , but there are arguably many others just as good, or better

      @@ForgottenPlayerProfiles No prob. Tramon also closed out the wild card round vs. the Eagles with a game winning pick. One of the best postseasons from a DB I’ve seen

    I believe that Anthony Carter was one of the best if not the absolute underrated players to have ever grace on the NFL field in Minnesota a former Wolverines of Michigan Alumni was a awesome WR wearing #81 I wish that he was rewarded a least one or two Super Bowl Rings with a better team but if that were the case he certainly would be a Hall Of Fame candidate for real! 19:24

    Owen's was amazing. Top 5 all time , no doubt. Rice Calvin Owens moss and whoever else you pick. Fitz brown Marvin brown Julio. Top 4 are set in stone in my opinion. The mount Rushmore is fixed in my opinion. Jefferson and chase may work their way in eventually

    Nobody was playing football on a real clean broken leg I'm so sick of hearing that nonsense I've had a bad broken leg before and if it's broken just in the right way you will not be walking or put any pressure on it for over 6 months

      Tibia break is way different than fibula. But 8 weeks is enough to heal either for most people. Owen's played on his against Dr approval. Believe he had to sign a waiver in case he re injured it.

      Jack Youngblood played multiple playoff games, including Super Bowl 14, on a broken fibula. While not at full strength due to the injury, the Rams gave the Steelers their all until mistakes on both sides of the ball enabled the black and gold to cap off their 1970's dynasty with ring number four.
