The man was the joker for this movie he didn’t play as the joker he became the joker
No doubt, he devoted his life for us. RIP GODACTOR
He was an amazing joker.i still can't believe he's gone now😢
The fuck are you talking about? He got paid millions for some acting😂
Gone but not forgotten
Nah he was the joker 🔥
You know we have lost such a great when Michael Caine says its the best actor he has ever seen
Dude for reals. Micheal has worked with thousands of people. Thats saying a lot.
Huh?
Where did he say that?
@@kevinzhang6623 The narrorator said it in the video we are commenting on.
@@AdamOMcMurphylol people are so slow
He wasn't just the Best Joker, He was the best Villain ever... RIP Heath Ledger.
Respect!!!
@@isaalencar9051What about him?
Yeah man, the first time he’s on screen during the bank robbery was epic,
“And here we go...”
Groupie talk not best villain ever.
@@promegaxproductions85 who is then??
Joaquin Phoenix was alsp legendary. Maybe the best
He was, undoubtedly the best joker ever played RIP. Thank you for the memories.
Jack Nicholson is as good but pn hugely different take on the joker. Nicholson was the cold black humour cartoon, Ledger was the realistic, different takes of different directors and scripts
@@innosantoThat's such a great outlook. I feel the same with Batman and the Dark Knight. Different takes, different levels. Everybody has their version of the character.
R.I.P. Heath Ledger🕊️
He died at his peak. He never had to tarnish, never had to slide slowly back into anonymity.
He went out a Legend.
That was poetry
His portrayal of the joker was hands down the greatest piece of theatrical art ever I don’t think anyone will ever be able to do better than him he was on such another level
Sad life you lead methinketh!🤡👈
Wow ! I think Phoenix was fabulous as the Joker , but Ledger did the best Joker I’ve seen ever !!!
Fr fr
What about Nicholson? 🤨
Go watch anything starring Daniel Day-Lewis
This performance was not only the best Joker performance but one of the best if not the best greatest acting performances overall I've personally ever seen.
Exactly. Even if you didn’t care for his version of the Joker(I loved it for the record) but he disappeared into that character. I’ve heard so many people say they didn’t see Ledger at all in that movie. My mother was a huge Heath fan, and she didn’t like how convincing he was as the joker. Lol. It freaked her out, knowing it was him.
Jack Nicholson was equally as good
@@HyperGnardisagree. That version of Tim Burtons Batman was good for its time but undoubtedly a bit camp and doesn’t hold up whatsoever to Nolan’s , the seriousness and pure darkness as joker in this role brought it to a level that has never been seen before.
@@HyperGnar I saw Jack playing the Joker where Heath disappeared and embodied the character. I love Jack, but there’s no comparison as far as the actual acting goes. Heath was next level shit.
Okay mofo, you took it too far… don’t be ridiculous. Amazing? Yes, but there are plenty out of this world performances in history.. maybe watch more movies
Still get chills every time I watch him in Dark Knight
I watch Dark Knight in the pale moonlight
Heath portrayed the Joker as the true psychopath, and unpredictable lunatic that he is. He by far captured and played the Joker better than anyone has ever.
Yes but he morph into his role
100% agreed
Nope. He played an amazing character. That character wasn't the Joker.
@@WobblyLancethankyou. The best joker is mark hamill
@@m3xdjc635 common are you jealous? or what?!
Heath Ledger was A TRUE GENIUS
so sad this life robbed him of his glory and robbed us all of his future work
Rest in peace sir
You definitely made your mark
Sorry but he did that to himself...he had many people to reach out to but apparently this role took a toll on him....he never got out of that dark place he went to
@@truckercowboyed2638That's been refuted by family and friends. Heath was known for having sleep issues prior to being cast as The Joker.
@@stonemedia8901he probably had clinical depression and I think he might’ve been satisfied he accomplished his best performance and maybe was afraid he could never reach that height again. Just my two cents.
R.I.P. mate
He was such a great person to work with. I worked on this movie and the others also. I also worked with him 2 nights before he passed away on Dr Parnasis. Such a shame.
Not only a great actor but a great humble human being. R.I.P Heath.
If what you say is true, he must of been amazing to see work. I don’t think his joker performance will be outdone.
Thank you for sharing, I adored him & his Genius ❤
A true master of the craft
He wrote his dialogue? That's even more impressive.
No he didn't, it was given to him by a fallen angel
He wrote a diary - probably of his thoughts about creating the Joker's mannerisms and what worked and what didn't and why. The video never said he wrote the script - that's the writers' job.
there's no script. he is the joker
Ledger by far, no comparison. Hes undershadowed by his death. His acting is superb, there is so many little ques and mannerisms that arent seen. Rip heath.
The best Joker. A shame Heath died so soon.
Ledger took the character to a whole new level! It’s too bad we didn’t get to see more!!
He left us with an Enter the dragon type final film performance like master Lee
I remember this, it was one of those "moments" in culture where everyone paused in awe...doesn’t happen too often. It gives me goosebumps recalling the lines around the block to see this film and how impressive Heath was...the film literally centered around him and it was an amazing swan song to his short life. Perhaps this was the best thing to come out of that rather bleak decade of the 2000s
Couldn’t have put it better myself
The whole film is epic , a sense of dread from opening frame, the music .
Everyone in that movie brought their aaa game.
Heath stole their thunder, madman
Practice makes perfect. RIP big brother.
The passion in acting.....
He's definitely one of the BEST
Heath is not only my favorite joker but he is the best villain I have ever seen across any genre of film, tv or story. Absolutely terrifying and so believable you forget it’s a movie and he was just acting.
Heath ledger is the best joker Ever ! R.I.P
Heath Ledger took the Joker to a whole other level and threw all other jokers in the water. He transformed himself into this character and personified everything. Very few actors could do what he did!
Hands down ledger did the ultimate.
Just one of the best performances ever
Best supporting actor role of all time. RIP
Next to him is the man, the myth, the legend who played Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men
I miss him so much. Great actor, amazing in performancer.... ❤
They born once in a while with soo much dedication and effort to something one loves is very rarely seen
Heath definitely has my vote
He was the best joker ever ,the world lost a amazing joker 😢
He’s my favourite joker. Brilliant actor. Rest in peace
Why so seriousss? (Grrr)
Thank you for this performance, wherever you are💫
Nothing short of a brilliant actor with a mind blowing performance. First movie I transfixed on his character.
Just another super Aussie actor I suppose.
First I was like "Eh?!?" then I was like "Oh! Well..." then I was like "Yeah..."
You know it mate .
Aussie performances are brilliant overseas.
R.I.P. one of the greats of our generation.
Keith Ledger was a legend,he was that role he played the joker the best out of em all rip keith! 😢
Definitely a sad loss...the man, the absolute LEGEND, big Keith Ledger....
Heath was his name sir
Genious of the 'best' Joker there will ever be:, 👻😎👻 thank you Heath for the 'genious' of YOU...
Heath and Joaquin didn’t play The Joker 🃏 they became him both are Goated 🐐
Heath did but other guy is garbage
How was Joaquin garbage? He was incredible. How many Oscar’s have you won derek?
@@dannyupthereds4729the actor doesn't suck. The movie sucks.
@@DaveCMit was no Nolan epic . It had its own thing going on. I’m still not sure why he was called Arthur Fleck and not Jack Napier.
Someone explain that would be nice
@@Garrysullivanjones Because it is also a Name he had in the Comics and i also think it was to show this Joker is a Different person.
His joker was legendary
Heath Ledger is beyond the comic book movie genre. He gave a legendary performance, that will be remembered forever. RIP
TERRANCE OUT
Best joker that ever will be
Best Jokers for me Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix🃏
Don’t forget Jack!
Never liked Jack's, just a rehash of the old series joker, to cheesy
NEVER forget JACK
Don't forget Jarred Leto
@@seanpittaway5341 I can respect that! We all got our view points and I totally see where you are coming from! I think for me jacks performance was so vital to my childhood that I’ll forever love his rendition!
Heath ledger is the best joker and got Oscar award after his death
Heath is probably the best joker ever
The fact that he took over every scene even with Batman in it everyone was just amazed by his performance he took over every scene even the scenes that were improvised one of a lifetime comic performance and I’ll still rewatch this movie over and over
Legend !!!
I love him, true artist of the film industry and truly missed! God bless you Heath! Fly free with the angels!
not only his acting ability but confidence... the confidence gave him this psychopathic gangster presence as he stayed in character
Jack Nickleson and Heath both have legendary performances.😅
Facts
there is a difference between good and great
Jack wasn't that great , heath is the best
@@derekthompson8254 Jack Nickleson was one of the best villains of all time from chasing his family around with a axe to shooting down the bat plane with a five foot forty-five pulled from his crotch. But you might not know if you are twelve.
I agree, Phoenix was too emo
Why did you have to leave us heath
I wish you made the third batman
Hell yeah! I always think that.
Me too. I still can't believe he's gone
Can you imagine him with Tom Hardy’s Bane…with the same plot of the third Dark Knight film…that would have been epic….
He is always a best joker.... if he was still alive I wonder the joker movie would have been best ever...
Heath ledger's joker + pattinson's batman = ❤😊💯
Despite endless speculation on which actor had been chosen to portray *The Joker*, Heath Ledger had always been Christopher Nolan's one and only choice for the role. When asked the reason for this unexpected casting, Nolan simply replied, _"Because he's fearless."_
-Q&A at the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York City
😢😅😮 Didn’t know he won an oscar for best supporting actor. Wow
Heath Ledger's performance was on a whole new level,he knocked it out of the park. RIP
By far the best Joker was played by Heath. I still watch the Dark Knight to this day and enjoy as if it was the first time I’ve watched it. RIP Heath
My boy contacted the devil in that hotel room for that role. Then paid the price to be immortalized
True that.
I agree. I believe he summoned or manifested an evil spirit during his stay at the hotel thathelped him achieve his goal but after the job was done they came for him.kinda like a grim reaper type of deal.
Make a whole lot of sense a few actors have
Never thought about that
No....not really... It's called method acting it's fit time and isolation. So he could focus on mannerisms and voice. A lot of actors will spend time by themselves getting into the mind of the character they are playing. His co stars have went on record, talking about how he acted whenever he wasn't filming and he was completely normal
Batman - Let her go
Joker - Poor choice of word.
My fav moment
By far, the best joker ever... I still can't get over the fact that he's no more among us to share more of his masterpiece...
Heath is my all time favorite joker
He knew how big this role was and he definitely proved it , RIP
What a legend. I wish we got more of him.
Heath is hands down the best Joker ever made❤Rest in Peace🙏
Heath ledger so good joker 🃏😮
Heath was out of this stratosphere with that performance and take on the Joker, absolutely awe inspiring. It's just a phenomenal and epic portrayal of the character 🙏
The man is a legend to the craft, his role as the Joker is definitely one of the best.
Peak Performance off the Joker 🙌 No one will ever come close hands down
No one can ever make a better Joker than Heath Ledger
His performance in this movie is legendary.
Seeing the pencil trick for the first time in theaters was so badass.
He was sooooo good. I think he became the jokers and it hurt his mind
He's my favorite joker❤
Ledger was one of the best for the joker role . He was great actor I seen many of this flims
You seen Two Hands?
Classic Aussie crime caper.
Bryan brown , Rose Byrne and brilliant David Field complement a rising Ledger
“Botany lane, botany street ? Something with botany in it...”
He was the true joker. R.I.P legend Heath Ledger 💔
Heath is the ultimate joker. The best. RIP
Yes Heath the best Joker performance is the best of all time❤
H. Is the joker ... crazy performance.. and boosted the best actors in the world..
No one has will ever or would ever be able to play joker as good as he has
Dude is humbled wherever he is .
This movie will NEVER be Forgotten !
I own a DVD and blu Ray . No 4k yet.
I have too much merch for this film , not a lot , some statues , figures , posters all joker related
No one could match his performance. He just set the bar so high that no one dares to try to jump over it.
Always Heath Ledger 🙌❣️❗
When I found out ledger was the joker after the movie I literally couldn't beleive it. Still now it's hard to see that it's him. Truly a good actor.
Heath R.I.P one of the best movies ive seen. Because you were magnificent in it. You brought that movie to another level.
Heathe Ledger is THE BEST JOKER for me and no one can change that
His performance at the interrogation room with Batman 1v1 will be forever imprinted in my memory.
Never i heard a line from a Villain to the hero "You complete me"
That was wild.
Even the way he grabbed that stick and destroyed the shrimp on it seemed unhinged. We lost an incredible human being and powerhouse of the silver screen. He was on a completely different level from just "acting." R.I.P Heath.
Bro literally became the real life joker on stage.
If only his best friends knew he was in a bad place they may have saved him. Sorely missed 😞 great guy !!
Heath Ledger ❤
He was the best joker in all of them. So sad he died so young. May he rest in power
A great,great actor.
The absolute best live action cinematic performance of all time. Heath Ledger’s Joker will never be topped. A masterclass on everything we thought we knew about the Joker brought to life
the only and one heath ledger
Deduction to his passion
This man made a sacrifice nobody understands
Heath will always be my favorite he was the best Joker, with Phoenix as my second favorite
Rip to one of the best actors to ever play the Joker character. Heath did such a great job and he was talented and may he rip.
HEATH LEDGER BY FAR !!!
He was indeed the best ever to portray Joker..
