She does. I guess old things are "new" again. We used to laugh wqith embarrassement in the late 1980s about the 1970s, but in 2017, the hair and the outfits more or less are what we'd wear now.
oh, i love these sketches. jerry lewis is hysterical, cher is fantastic. her 'vamp' reminded me of natasha from rocky & bullwinkle! sonny was such a good sport to be the butt of so many jokes. they made a great team together at the piano like that. i love watching classic tv episodes where there was real talent and entertainment. thanks for posting!!
I love how when they do the show white skit and Cher opens the door and say I married the milk man I love how Sonny is just standing outside the door waiting and smile 😊
The great thing about this show, looking back on it as an almost 60 year old, was that despite the fact that there were a lot of double entendres, it was also 100% kid friendly, and the comedy was as appealing and suitable for kids, without having to understand some of the more adult wink nudge of the dialogue. That right there is genius.
CHER SOOOOO TALENTED IN EVERYTHING SHE EVER DID AND STILL DOES it is really amazing !! beyond amazing History will never see this kind of star ever again!!
@@seabreeze9296 As a cher fan I can confirm she was the original choice but was pregnant with her son that's why she couldn't do it so she had to be replaced.
The Prince Charming guy played by Ted Zeigler looked familiar, and I suddenly realized he played grocery customer Sam in the second season of the "Mama's Family" series-- the episode "Obscene Call" where Naomi keeps getting creepy phone calls, and at her cash register in Food Circus she tells him to say "Hello, Naomi" in a weird voice because she wants to find out who the voice belongs to. Zeigler appeared in three episodes of Vicki's sitcom, according to the IMDb.
It still is SOMEWHAT in evidence with flat-screen TVs, but remember that weird high-pitched sqeal that TVs had? (I couldn't hear the words from a program, but I could hear a TV was on down the block.
This time in America we watched comedy and realistic programs now it's nothing but murder mysteries crime investigations and the 6 pm news. Now you can't tell the difference between programs or the news, their both bad.
Cher looked amazing on top of that piano, then again, Cher always looks amazing.

Thank you for uploading these videos of Cher/Sonny and Cher! I look forward to coming home from school everyday to watch them!
totally awesome!
The 'Vamps' were the best!!
cher is fabulous i love her 💋💓🐩
Funny how as Vampira she looked like Morticia Addams seeing as how she was originally supposed to be Morticia.
And Sonny would be Gomez
correction: She wanted the roll but didn't get it, she was never the original choice
@@seabreeze9296 As a cher fan I can confirm she was the original choice but was pregnant with her son that's why she couldn't do it so she had to be replaced.
@@joannyxo3627 that was 1975 they were going to make it then
Cher all the time ahead of time

She did look like Morticia Addams in the last one

I love how they roast each other. They were like the OG Ryan and Blake Reynolds
I.m so happy you enjoyed it!
thanks for watching :)
Gosh tv/music hasn’t been the same!!
Sonny was a lucky man Cher was a real catch
i don't think Catch is the right word here, another 5 letter word that ends in "tch"
Cher actually went to the Jerry-Lewis-Acting-School?! Wow!
Jerry was a funny man
jerry Lewis was fabulous 2 love him to rip jerry silly funny man
Haha, silly Jerry Lewis.
when I find 'em- I'll post 'em!
thanks for watching
How did they get a TV image without the 'flicker'? That was a problem til we went digital, in the 80s or 90s.

And that was seven years ago! Compared to 2021.
Jerry was at his best here.
Cher was wearing that black dress!
Cher as Snow White is fairy, sweet & Beautiful as always, but Who was the less "charming" Prince?
Who was the actor playing Prince Charming?
Would people have known vampira I’n the 70’s for people to know who Cher was spoofing
Yeap, they do not make anymore things like dis
She was nd is beautiful bt on dat Snow White dress she lukd uncomfortable
