Hi Svetlana. Keep your medals in "hometown" where they are now. You've had it this long; so keep it where it's at. 😍Whenever you come home you can remanence in the nostalgia of it all.
Regarding all of your swimming medals, you could make a "shadow box" to display them in. Or, get some type of case that you can organize and store them in. Either way, maybe you should make a "digital copy" of each medal by taking photos of each one individually. Safe travels and best wishes.
Svetlana.. I live in Ottawa and this is all so familiar! I also have a swimming award problem! I will let you know when I figure out what to do with it! Thank you for this video. I very much appreciated it!
Hi Svetlana, Nice awards and accomplishments!! After from serving time in the US Marine Corps, someone from my unit had made a shadow boxes for me and mounted my medals, awards, for me. Also I collect military challeng coins from different units I served with or just given to by great people from and I would make a collection display cases as well. Well also years ago because I use to run Marathons and half marthons and I got it made a shadow boxes case for all my medals which displays all my medal in one places. You could maybe do the same for all your swim medals and awards and organize it by time frame if you can remember month and year that you did it by. Put in a display cases. You don't have to keep the whole ribbon but keep it next to the medal, or use all your ribbon from the medals as a background display where you medals can be glue or mount on your box. Then you could just display in your house, at apartments, or display it in your UA-cam office or where you want as people come visit they can see it or just any where in the house. Or keep it at your parents at let them hang it on the wall, so they can show friends what you have done. Sorry I don't mean to go too long on the ideas. Google up US Military Shadow boxes and Swimming Medal Hanger.. I hope that helps give you ideas on what to do or find someone who can help make a personal custom shadow box for you. I put my display hanging on the wall for marathons. Military Shadow Boxes too sits on the bookshelf of my home office. Hope you like the idea. If so I would love a postcard from your home country as I collect post cards from UA-camrs I engage with :)) BTW love all your personal contents on youtube.
I am an American woman who has worked in the restaurant business for 16 years. When customers invite people to party’s and expect them to pay is just trash. Not a standard in anyway among my friends. Beautiful video as always.
In Romania we do the same at birthday parties: i invite the friends and people, i pay for everything, it seems logical to me. Txs for sharing your life with us! P.S. What's the name of the little Siberian city you were living in? ❤️
Dear Svetlana, big LIKE in advance because you are a wonderful person and your videos are perfect. We wish you all the best. Have you and all viewers a nice day.
Merry Christmas Jayhawk. The picture of you at the pool, such a serious look on your face. You can see that you are passionate about swimming. I would frame your medals like people do with other sports memorabilia,ie. jerseys. I have no problem with the Russian people. They are some of the kindest people I have ever met when visiting the Jersey Shore. Safe travels Svetlana. Your friends and family are wonderful. 🎄
Happy Birthday Svetlana. It appears as though you had a great day. Good food and great friends. A very special memory. Hopefully it can be repeated. Perhaps you could donate your medals to a museum or loan them to a museum? Congratulations on your many achievements. Thank you for another terrific video.

Hello Sveta, thanks for sharing with us some personal moments in your life. Concerning your medals after you settle into your permanent residence- perhaps a glass case, maybe 2-3 inches deep wooden sides and back with glass front… a horizontal piece(s) of wood with hooks spaced apart to hang them? The case can be from one to four rows and either can be hung on the wall or sitting on a table against the wall… what do you think? S Novom Godom🎊!
Happy belated Birthday Svetlana. make a display of your medals on a board laid out nicely and dedicate to your school as an inspiration to other young swimmers or take the most important medals with you and on a display board then glass it in and hang on the wall.. wishing you all the best Spasibo for your video/tour i would love to visit Siberia and Lake Baikal... love the russian people with good hearts - as we welcomed a family from Moscow back during the Ice storm of 98 here and they had no place to go no hotel rooms available so my wife and i took them in for a week, cooked on our wood stove and we had a great time. then a heart doctor and his wife were stranded as well so we gave them our own bed to sleep in while we slept on the floor..their friends came to pick them up next day and they asked do you always have weather like this and i said but of course this is little Siberia.. LOL..
Foarte profesional, mulțumesc Zvetlana, mi-ați făcut o foame de mă doare inima😂😂😅☺ și da,ești foarte bătrână dar foarte frumoasă, La mulți ani Zvetlana!
Hey Svetlana, I also have medals for athletics, I understand what you are saying. I'm a fly in fly out worker, so my medals and trophies are in a box. But I was thinking about dedicating an area of the house where I could display them. I hope this helps you... Thank you for your work, it gives me idea of places i want to visit in Russia... Once I'm allowed to travel to Russia again... I still have a special place in my heart for Russia, I was in St.Petersburg, Novgarod and Moscow in 2017.
I was born and still live in California (all my life) and have been invited went to birthday parties at restaurants and I did not have to pay for the food. I think your experience is more rare than common.
My four children played soccer and had hundreds of trophies and ribbons that they wanted me to keep. I made them display all their trophies and hold the most important ones and took a picture for them to keep. The trophies were donated to an artist who was building a bridge sculpture and we were so happy to let them go. Remember, don’t cry over something that can’t cry for you. Let it go and treasure the picture and memory. Good luck.
Hi, Svetlana! I loved the video! Content was amazing, and the kids were absolutely awesome. I remember the winters here in Indiana, USA with the snow, the sledding, the great fun with friends! Take care until I see your next video. Today is December 23rd and temperature is -21* C (-36* C with what it feels like when outside in wind).
thank you for sharing i miss your country very much and its people. and the food was awesome thanks for that too. take care, be safe, happy travels, stay warm
Svetlana, Happy 31st 8 months ago… you beautiful lady. This week’s video was fabulous watching from London. April in Siberia looks like worst winter on record for a Brit 😂 From your poster digital display at swimming pool I saw how your name looks in Cyrillic letters. Medals, Arrange in rectangle or square equal to a tabletop… ideally make or have made a double glass sided rectangle or square shape to sandwich the medals inside between the two panes of glass. It will be reversible so that you can attach to a table customised to have the mounted display. A friend did this to a table he reclaimed but used old coins. It was an art work 🎈☝🏻🧠❤️.
Merry Christmas from North Texas! It was 11 degrees here this morning not including wind chill. I lived in Pennsylvania for a few years and did not like the winters. The good thing is it will be in the sixties in a few days. Your videos are always special but I especially enjoyed hearing about your personal life. It was very interesting. Regarding your medals, I think you should keep them as a remembrance. I know it is a bit of a burden. Thank you for sharing your life.

Hi Svetlana, nice open and honest video. Here's a little message from Holland. Have you been there ? Amsterdam perhaps ? As an ex competition swimmer myself I noticed how you gracefully and professionally dived into the lake in a previous video. Now I understand, because you were a competition swimmer yourself 😊. By the way I am learning the Russian language here. It's very hard to learn. It helps me a bit when talking to Ukrainian refugees who live here. Cheers and good luck to you, spaciba !
Andre, these 'Ukrainians' are not refugees dude. You should ask them where they are from in the Ukraine and you will find out they are from non conflict areas. These people are Fortune seekers and largely thieves and leeches sucking us dry. Dat Rusland de gehele Oekraine snel mag bevrijden.
I’m sure the Ukrainan refugees would appreciate more if you tried to speak to them in Ukrainan? But russian is good to know if you want to speak to the russian separatist who shot down the Malaysia airliner from Amsterdam in 2014, where all the 283 passengers and a crew of 15 were killed. They will certainly appreciate a dutchman speaking russian.
@@Mr.Monta77 For your Information, The Ukrainian families I know are from the Donbas area and their native language is Russian not Ukrainian. Btw you don't need to remember me what happened in 2014 with Maylasian Airlines and its victims, so keep your cynical comment to yourself oké.
@@HubAndre It sounded like your sympathy for your russian friends drowned out your engagment for Ukraine and the thousands and thousands of victims Russia’s fascist attack has caused. You think I’m cynical? I suggest you study the Kholodomor and the hundreds of years of political and cultural suppresion of ukrainans throughout history from Kremlin. That is cynicism. If your sensitive toes are feels sore, so be it.
*At **5:45** if you want to make your fried fish a little spicy then marinate fish with one table spoon of red chili pepper powder, one table spoon of tumeric powder, and one tea spoon of salt and then leave fish in the fridge for half an hour and then fry the fish. If you want you can also use one table spoon of garlic and one table spoon of ginger paste when you marinate fish. You can eat fried fish with flat bread called pita bread or gyros bread.*

I'd hang the medals on coat-hangers and keep them safe. They'll store well - you can organise them into years - or meets - or position or anything. And doing it will give you some good memories. 🙃

20:45 I'm American and I've NEVER been to a birthday party where I had to pay my own meal. That is really weird and I wouldn't say that's an "American" way to do a birthday. If we threw a birthday party, we pay for all the guests. The guests just bring gifts.
Thanks for sharing part of your life …Svetlana…always interesting to see what you doing …as for the medals you should maybe have them mounted …and for the future I wish you and your family a very Merry Xmas ( although our Xmas is in January) but Happy festivities and May 2023 bring us all good things …until your next video ….💕Alex🇬🇷
Why in gosh name does it take 4 hours for the delivery guy/woman to bring the Sushi? Are you 200 miles away from the store? If I ordered food from a delivery place and it took more than a half hour I would probably refuse the delivery as most warrant within 20 minutes. 4 hours? LoL That bus fair is super cheap. It has been decades here in the US since I have seen a public transport that cheap. Clearly the bus drivers there are not amongst the highest paid workers as they are in many American cities. I remember 40 years ago a physician actually complaining on TV about how the average NYC bus driver with only a HS equivalent (GED) earned more than he did. The fares had just hit a dollar back then. Of course nowadays the fares are more and so are the salaries. Nice day's fishing. Some of those, in the US, one should put back in the water and let it grow bigger. You say it is April when you discuss the hair cutting, but it is December Xmas time when this video aired. Gregorian or Julian calendar aside, they don't differ that much. This is December in both, LoL That's nice that your picture hangs at the pool.
I see many people in comments wish you a merry christmas at 25th December and if i may to add one more difference also that christmas in Russia is on January 7th because they are christian orthodox just like we in Serbia and also some other countries like Greece, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova, Romania.
I didn't know you were a swimmer Svetlana, that's really cool. Did you go to championships? Can you do a video on that? Thank you, and hello from Canada :)
As a Russian , first of all do not forget this, it is strange that you value medals from the US as a special. Love your country and distribute as much as you can to share the beauty , love and manner of the Russians. The world needs to know more how wonderful people you are. It is great warm video and I like it. На здоровие! С новьiм годом!
Is there a way to display them(Your metals)? They can be looked at as part of you, part of who you are..They are some of your achievements..Obviously they mean something to you..
Dear Svetlana, there are albums for sale, in which there are sheets with plastic pockets, they are used to store coins, maybe there are those that are big enough to store your medals, you could then add a small piece of the ribbon , maybe this is a solution to your storage problem.
Cool video. I like the Moose recipe. For the medals i would put them all on a board along a long entrance way. So you can jingle them every time you walk by like a hand rail.
First time watching your video my dear what a courageous and gifted and big-hearted woman you are right to the medals I would give a medal to every kid that swimming to encourage them and to let them know that they are important too I hope you answer this with some dialogue because I think you're a very special with a big heart and a giver and so am I but there's so few of us in this world especially in different countries I am so fascinated by your hospitality and loving of your friends that you never forget and your family also a very moving video very moving please answer back it would be nice to know that I'm important to someone someplace somewhere thank you cuz you're very important to me love always Freddie ❤️🌹😎💪👍😀🌹 how can I forget happy happy Birthday my dear and many more you're right it's the little guess that count the most take care be safe not sorry
Thank you for sharing. Have not seen a new UA-cam video in 3 weeks now from you. Hope you are all right ♥️ And happy really belated Birthday to you and your beautiful Cousin Ella who is gorgeous too 😍🌹👸 Hello Ella 🙋♂️
My suggestion. All medals can be attached onto one board using double sided tape without their ribbon. You can arrange them nicely and I believe one board 1m x 1m can accommodate tens of them.
Save the medals for when you settle down in your own house and dedicate a wall in one of the rooms to display that's artistic. They are achievements and more important memories with friends. Memories of friends are never forgotten. Just a suggestion.
Thank you for this really wonderful video that I greatly enjoyed! You are such a sweet person and a true joy to watch! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and very good New Year!!
Those medals can be hung in a restaurant or cafe on a wall as memorabilia which customers could find very interesting . Maybe a swim canteen or cafe , motivational , just a suggestion .
Wondeful......It brings me memories from when I was in Russia in 2000, the same beauty of the places, the same warmth and friendliness of the people.....I really love Russia and I Hope to go there again one day......
As an American, I've never heard of women paying their own bill at a party. Birthday parties are usually at home. If she's speaking of a "girl's night out," they can always find some fool of a guy to pay.
I really liked the the video and introduction of your home town. I've just watched it from Mongolia. We have the same weather here. I really appriciete it. And Im also learning english now. Your pronunciation sounds like native speaker which was so easy to undersand the speach of you.

Beautiful video as always.
hello! I'm looking for a sponsor for the U4U program 🙏
In Romania we do the same at birthday parties: i invite the friends and people, i pay for everything, it seems logical to me. Txs for sharing your life with us!
P.S. What's the name of the little Siberian city you were living in? ❤️
Yeah bro I'm Romanian as well. I do the same without even thinking.
Here in the Czech Republic it is also common that the person who invites their friends pays for the entire bill.
Txs for sharing your beatiful vibes
Love watching your videos because i can relate, the weather is similar where i am from in Québec. And you're so stylish yet funny and personable💚
Good night
Svetlana congratulations on your swimming medals
Merry Christmas for your and your family
Greetings from México
Hey Svetlana,
I also have medals for athletics, I understand what you are saying.
Do u really love fascist country and its people who fully support war against Ukrainians?
I was born and still live in California (all my life) and have been invited went to birthday parties at restaurants and I did not have to pay for the food. I think your experience is more rare than common.
Love this everyday life, rarely one comes across such vlogs which depicts reality. Please produce more everyday life in Russia.
Good luck.
Happy birthday 🎊🎉 and a Merry Christmas ☃️🌲 from Australia 🇭🇲👍
April is a MUD season here. Snow wasn't cleaned in time - enjoy knee deep dirty lakes.

Love ya girl! Your stepdad seems amazing to hunt and cook up all that fresh food all the time! Is this typical of Russian men?? I want one!
maarieb yes.so it happened.women used to cook.now men.almost all culinary bloggers and chefs in restaurants are men.I got involved too.and now I cook myself
Ah nice! Yes, I’ve been to Amsterdam! Loooved it there!😃
Andre, these 'Ukrainians' are not refugees dude.
Thank You Svietlana Great Video Hello from Australia and Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😊
*At **5:45** if you want to make your fried fish a little spicy then marinate fish with one table spoon of red chili pepper powder, one table spoon of tumeric powder, and one tea spoon of salt and then leave fish in the fridge for half an hour and then fry the fish. If you want you can also use one table spoon of garlic and one table spoon of ginger paste when you marinate fish. You can eat fried fish with flat bread called pita bread or gyros bread.*
Thank you for sharing, your videos are beautiful as usual. I'll save the swimming medallions for you, until you find them a permanent place for keeps. Happy holidays to you and your family.
The medals you could put in custom wooded cases with a see threw cover. So you can see the medals but they would be put away.
I always enjoy a lot your nice videos. It's very interesting to discover Russia through inhabitants eyes of this country.
Out of high cold, the landscapes are wonderful and people seem living happily.
I lke siberia in winter, I was 18 times, in jenuary, magadan, tinda, jakustz, komi, yamal, nenets, vorkutà etc etc by car, by train by bus
tell me what you want? my pics? my vide? Iin all russia of course, from magadan to yamal, from vladivostok to komi. ulan ude, bajkal, tinda, ojmajkon, usta nera, elista, etc etc
Nice video of friendly Siberian people, presented by a nice female blogger 😊✌️
Svetlana your videos are so good , they tell us all about daily life in Russia. Thank you so much you are such a beautiful young lady inside and out. 31 and Gorgeous
I'd hang the medals on coat-hangers and keep them safe.
They'll store well - you can organise them into years - or meets - or position or anything.
And doing it will give you some good memories. 🙃
Cheers and Happy Holidays from Edmonton Alberta Canada.
So nice to see wholesome family life without any drama & nastiness. Coach, step dad etc and no molestation or dark past. So cute nowadays. Thanx.

Merry Christmas and Happy Peaceful New Year!
This is December in both, LoL
That's nice that your picture hangs at the pool.
Greetings from NZ. We love Russia.
Thank you for another lovely video. I love seeing how other people live. Much appreciated.
Im American and I love Russia more than anything its given me freedom and peace
Oh yes, whole world have already seen how "wonderful" you are, Russians. Bastards
@@Wild-SiberiaPeace ? Russia and peace 🤮
@@2kaurwaki I’m an American by the way 😂
Is there a way to display them(Your metals)? They can be looked at as part of you, part of who you are..They are some of your achievements..Obviously they mean something to you..
Very interesting, thank you for sharing, Siberia looks cold!
God bless you Svetlana. God bless Russians and also Ukrainians. I love you both
Thank you for sharing.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREETINGS DEAR FRIEND SVETLANA. 🎂
PAZDRAVLIAYU DNIOM RAZHDJENIA 🌹 💐 🌹 .
Save the medals for when you settle down in your own house and dedicate a wall in one of the rooms to display that's artistic. They are achievements and more important memories with friends. Memories of friends are never forgotten. Just a suggestion.
Svetlana and Anna from Russia 🇷🇺 are my favorite.
Thank you 😊 ❤
Thank you for this really wonderful video that I greatly enjoyed! You are such a sweet person and a true joy to watch! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and very good New Year!!
Nice girl Svetlana, from South America Congrats for share your great country
Those medals can be hung in a restaurant or cafe on a wall as memorabilia which customers could find very interesting . Maybe a swim canteen or cafe , motivational , just a suggestion .

Wondeful......It brings me memories from when I was in Russia in 2000, the same beauty of the places, the same warmth and friendliness of the people.....I really love Russia and I Hope to go there again one day......
As an American, I've never heard of women paying their own bill at a party. Birthday parties are usually at home. If she's speaking of a "girl's night out," they can always find some fool of a guy to pay.
I guess this is very old video since it is proper winter in Russia at the moment with 30 cm of snow in Moscow.
That beautiful hair must be very soft to the touch. In my country Quito-Ecuador with our midday sun, sure catches many eyes.
Listen just because you’re in Siberia doesn’t mean you don’t cut your eyebrows, try and take care of yourself

Merry Christmas Svetlana. Interesting video. Stay safe!
Happy Birthday and thank you for sharing. Have a safe trip.
Wooow so many medals.. impressing)). Thanks for this personal good video. Take care and Happy new year/Merry Christmas
In western countries we normally pay for everyone we invite if it is our birthday party.
I really liked the the video and introduction of your home town. I've just watched it from Mongolia. We have the same weather here. I really appriciete it. And Im also learning english now. Your pronunciation sounds like native speaker which was so easy to undersand the speach of you.
Thank you, Svetlana, for another wonderful video of your life. Even though this video was from April, it looked like the dead of Winter. Have a Blessed and safe New Year!
Plastic in the oven is a really bad idea, those chemicals in the plastic will leak into your food.
The two of you are beautiful ladies, but the children also bring a sparkle of delight to your video. I'm jealous of all the good food and wine.
