BMW Z4 E89 PDC Retrofit Parking Sensors

Hello all and welcome back for another retrofit for the BMW Z4 E89. This time around I'm retrofitting the full PDC (Parking Distance Control) for both front and rear bumpers, This video can be used for fitting both front and rear or just the rear only (rear only is a lot easier!).

Hi, I'm getting a PDC error and tried to find the faulty sensor hearing for clicks but they don't seem to be working, is there any way I could diagnose through software what is failing? Any software you recommend? Thanks! Love your videos :)

Yes, a fault code check should bring up which sensor is faulty. I use Carly for quick checks and INPA for mire indepth, both of which tell me which sensor.
For replacements, I'd only ever recommend genuine BMW ones as the copy ones I originally had all went faulty.

What if I have a CCC module instead of CIC do i need to code another module? Thanks mate.

I can only comment on the E89 platform, and that doesn't have CCC, only CIC, sorry.

Wow. Great job. Wish I felt competent enough to do this myself. Do you do these upgrades as a service ?

@simonherts I do the cruise control retrofit, the Android screen fitting and the mmi boxes but not this sort of thing because of the time involved.
