Golden tench and green tench,crucian carp and perch. All my favourite fish to catch.
Everything but Carp, a good mixture of Tench, Ide, Crucians, Roach, skimmers etc

Sensible stocking for me would be 50% match size carp 50% mixed silvers (ide roach skimmers perch chub orfe tench) keeps everyone happy. Great job with the lake.
I'd stock my dream lake with Roach, Rudd, Perch, Skimmers, Big Bream, Tench, and Crucians. Maybe some Chub.
The F1's and Carp can go in a separate lake. Not sure about having Ide or Barbel. Definitely no Catfish or Pike.

Looks a lovely lake wait till the grass and vegetation settles down. If they are using the water from another lake surely you will extract some fish from it too? Cracking lake Lads 👍

No carp or F1s, just good old fashion fish. A natural lake is the best.
You needed rotted manure in bottom to boost bacteria before water ,i did it with mine .water clarity was ace for fish to be introduced.
Looking great so far, can't wait to fish it, if it was me I would definitely be putting a good few crucians in there, can't beat a bar of gold.
I would stock it with a bit of everything. A proper mixed fishery. Like hampton springs.
Its only a 20 minute drive for me and never heard of the place, il be interested in going over the next few weeks and having a play on one of the pools
All the usual fish plus a few bonus instant wins and some decent barbel and tench too

4 golden tench would be brillant to put in over and above all the other species
crucians/goldfish/tench/rudd/roach, and a few medium sized carp. Not perch or you'll end up with small ones that swallow the hook all the time.
Hi guys, for me you've got to get a few nice Thomas' (Tench) in there. Even some Golden Tench. And definately Chub.
Something in the north west area would be great, maybe a future project, regarding fish, I would stock a good mix of species so bites keep coming all year round.
Instead of goldfish, why not golden tench? Caught one at solhampton and everyone came over at weigh in to see what it was!
Plus, ya’know… tench are the greatest fish of them all!

Barbel, Golden and green tench, IDE, Chub, crucians, a few goldfish, blue and golden orfe, mirror&common carp, F1s, ghostie F1s, koi carp, skimmers, perch, gudgeon, Rudd, roach and some Ruffe and baby catfish, eels big bream, Basically all fish a plenty for a great days fishing and you never know what you’ll catch next. That’s what I’d have in mine anyway. Maybe even a solitary sturgeon. 👍
It'd be nice to get a load of Ide in there, fishing marston week in week out it'd be banging to have them in one of the lakes
Looking good.but I think your going have trouble fishing the edges when them reeds get growing. Unless your pegs go out into the water like partridge lakes so you can fish around the reeds etc.tightlines
Carp 10ld - 30ld pole only I wish there was more places that let you fish the pole with bigger fish in

Remember fishing Ripon canal in a league match 30 plus years ago.. tactic.. catch as many minnows as possible.. we knew it was recently stocked with carp. Low and behold match was won with 20lb +sat on the carp all huddled in one spot 😂 our tactic paid off i believe in points
All Silvers only lake including barbel,tench and gudgeon, maybe the odd grass carp.
If i had pond i stock "Sacramento perch" they can get pretty big.

Looks brilliant, stock could be chub, ide, barbel, tench, skimmers, perch, roach and F1s with 3 golden tench instead of goldfish, lower chance of sight fishing and more pot luck. Good luck
Get some fish from anglers paradise . Koi.tench. gudegon. Grass carp. Mirrors, commons, roach, chubs, perch, couple of catfish or pike, needs a mobile burger bar . Some nice colourful plants and flowers on the island for wildlife..

Do the £1 for the golden fish fantastic idea, however do any split you want, a percentage of the pot to a charity of the lucky person or club, teams choice. So if the pot is at £500, £250 to the Angler who catches it and some charity gets £250. BTW loving the channel, you two and Ricccard have got me back into it after 15 years away from the sport, not so sure its a good idea, have you seen the price of casters 🤣🤣🤣

Anything but carp. If F1s have been put in then get them all out now before they wreck it! Personal favourites would be tench, crucians, roach rudd and bream. Anything that is naturally still water so definitely not chubb or barbel. And on the subject of goldfish, no prize pot but the winner gets to choose the charity that the goldfish prize pot goes to.

F1s and skimmers skimmers will breed and F1s don't grow big all can be caught on sensible tackle
