That 415 sounds incredible. Especially for the money
Excellent picking, I bet a bunch of folks want to move to Tennessee now. How about ya'll?
I predict a mandolin review in the future! THANKS Jeremy and John.
Wonderful 🤠
This old tune was beautifully played fellas. Thanks, once again for a pleasant few minutes of relaxing music.
Stan
It is such a good romantic tune, and you played it very well. Thanks!!
Great job fellas. That Jeremy is pretty smooth!!
Going to have to learn that one.
I’ve got an Eastman MD 515 VS love the sound it produces & playability
I would sing this with my man in college. We're getting married now. I love this song.
Beautifully played gentlemen. 👍
Definitely one of my favorite melodies, you guys played it perfectly!
Thank you!
36th subscriber LIKE; 187th desktop fan view & listen - awhhh... that's nice, Fellas!! Can't help but wonder how RSW deer antler saddles would improve the tone/volume quality of those already-nice-sounding mandolins. I'd particularly like to hear a comparison of the two similar oval-hole mandolins - one with, and one without the different saddle. Could be telling, eh? This was the best episode so far, as you well know.
i sincerely loved that...that was definitely the best video ever you've done.
400th view, replay - came back to see where your right hand position is for picking. Interestingly enough - the first lead is played 'center', and well behind the end of the fretboard; while John's playing mostly atop, or at least closer to, the high end of the fretboard/fingerboard. I would be interested to hear your take on each style/hand position. Thanks.
Excellent playing fellas. I love this tune and play it flatpick style on guitar. Would be neat to see you guys play TW with a guitar break too. 👍🏽👍🏽
Made famous by Patti Page. She bounced me on her knee when I was a little feller. Dad was a musician and was playing for her at a performance.
I wish your music was on Spotify and stuff, because it's the most delightful thing I've been listening to lately. And I'm not even a bluegrass guy, I come from Punkrock.
Btw what are those microphones you're using there? They sound amazing.
Thanks so much! We use Ear Trumpet Labs Microphones!
@@AcousticShoppe Thanks for the answer! Are those Edwina stereo pairs?
@@robertsteinberger Yes they are the Edwina's
@@AcousticShoppe Thank you!
@@robertsteinberger No problem, they are not the stereo pairs.
I would love too learn to play the mandolin but can’t find a good budget friendly one..
We'd be happy to help you! How much are you wanting to spend on a mando?

I am looking at a Rogue package from Guitar Center from around $90.00 with soft case and books.
@@clydeortego8332 For the purpose of learning, truly you could get started learning mandolin on anything, but to set yourself up for success, we recommend spending a little more to get something more comfortable to play. We think the most important thing to consider when buying a mandolin is how easy/comfortable it is to play & how much you enjoy the sound. For that reason we really don't recommend anything less than a Loar 110 Honey Creek Mandolin, that model runs at $300, but used models can be found cheaper than that. We feel this is the most comfortable mandolin to begin learning on at the cheapest price, all still with a good tone. It also does come with a Padded Case.
That being said we do have a beginner mandolin video where compare two of our favorite brands: ua-cam.com/video/RrTDnpah2uo/v-deo.html The Loar isn't in this video but we do go into detail about why mandolins, even at the beginning level cost more than other instruments around the 4 min mark. We also go into detail about what to look for when buying your first mandolin.
We hope this helps!
