Hey Jeremy! I made the acoustic drum kits in the first few banks of the Rample, and I'm really glad you enjoyed them. It's not perfect since it was my first time recording and mixing samples (120 of them!) but I'm glad I was able to participate in this small labor of love.
absolutely agree. if you see the other samplers like the 1010 or 4MS this one has such great price. im gonna get mine used for 240 bucks. is such a straight forward moduke, too!
Just picked up one for £190. Had to buy a bigger case... it was bound to happen. Hint: if you buy rails and make cheeks from scrap wood, you can just keep expanding forever!
Inspiring video, thank you. perhaps my favorite aspect of the Rample is it’s midi in , so we can modulate via cv and cc in parallel. often I sequence from Hermod via midi, so get velocity ( for modulation) - but still have cv ‘free’ for hands on control.
Great vid, thanks - not any around! Been waiting for this module for a while. Great price on it is as well. Could add to my Pico Drums x 2 modules at a great price with additional features.
Whoa, wait, what!? 14:40 into the video and we learn there is no time stretching. Really good vid showing off a nice bit of kit. But that time stretch issue was kinda glossed over. I want my inputs to match my jam. This sounds like I'd have to be mindful of the tempo of specific samples before i throw them into the mix.
Sweet module, even better review. Thinking about letting my sample drum for this one. Btw I recognized those guitar chords, that’s iMachine, made a track on my channel with those a few years back
Great video and cool sounds. The only bummer of videos like this in general is that you usually hear the module you like or are interested in but then are usually told, “I’m using this with these 5 other really expensive modules to make it sound this cool” so in some ways it feels like the rack is really what’s being reviewed. I personally think most people aren’t going to be able to throw in a Varigate 8, Hermod, Keystep Pro and VPME’s Quad Drum so sometimes I think it’s nice to hear a demo of primarily the module being reviewed. I have only a Keystep Pro and feel privileged.
Awesome stuff as usual. Hey J could you tell me how do you cycle between samples? The manual says, random, cyclic, etc.. How do you set those up? And how do you assign a CV input? Thanks!
Hi Jeremy, great video, this video made me just purchase a Rample....I'm new to Eurorack and had a question I'm hoping you can help with . At about 30 secs into the video you explain how your using the Doepher 138 ... you mentioned " individual levels for your effects sends" can you explain that a bit further on how you are setting up with FX on the mixer ?
It is fantastic but miss the main magic power from the ES sample drum! Slicing up the sample and play random the slices. Amazing feature and very experimental. I wish this feature also was here.... :) Then this would be the perfect eurorack sampler.
Bonjour Jeremy, is there a way to turn “off” cv assigned effects? I turn them on via assign and the main encoder press, but the manual doesn’t say how to turn them off again? 😎
I own this now thanks to you (I drive it with Pam). But I’m curious how you choose your samples for your own kits. For all those bass pluck samples, did you create those within the confines of a scale/key?
Hi Jeremy! Just some feedback / a question: have you switched mics recently? Or changed how you record/mix your voice? It’s been a bit thin/high recently. Curious if so! To my ears it could have some of the lows back. (Hope it’s nothing health wise or something, but it sounds like it’s just a mixing matter) Just ignore if you disagree or if I’m wrong altogether:)

That's a great kit, thank you!
It's a rare thing to hear you show so much enthusiasm and genuine enjoyment in a video. A rare, but welcome sight indeed! :D
i bought Rample based on this video and i can confirm everything he says is true
Jeremy...you totally out did yourself on this presentation, you draw in the viewer with your enthusiasm and you don't let up! Excellent sir. Peace...
4:26 your Rample jam was so crazy that the little DOEPFER module next to it instantly turned from black to grey 😂😂😂
You know 😍
We, we don t know :-)
I know I'm Broke already
I love how excited Jeremy is to show us this amazing piece of technology
I was waiting for someone to see the beauty in this thing!!
Ooh round robin as a layer of sequencing is 💯‼️
It’s clear you’re having lots of fun with this. Love it.
The price on it is remarkably fair, especially for eurorack. But my case is already full... guess it's time to buy another one.

@@JamesLavinTheOnly where did you grab one for £190? Is that new or second hand?
This is one of the nicest modular set ups I've ever seen. Literally each module you announce is one the titans.
oh searching for a sampler and im back again here haha! this demo is obvs infamous now !
Hey man you've been killing it lately. Awesome content, great vibe, fun and supremely musical. Thank you!
I’m even more impressed by your Doepfer mixer. I didn’t know modules can change the panel color!
I finally but the bug and it’s on its way -thank you for sharing your passion brother
I keep coming back to this I love it so much! ❤
Just coming back to this... the beats are so dope. Reminds me of some nasty Aphex-like stuff.
This is my favorite video of yours. Your excited energy is just contagious In this one. Love it
That first jam made me think Process-era Skinny Puppy/Download. I was digging it.
You omitted that doepfer mixer in your gear list.
Excellent video.
Seriously, this nuts, possibilities are mind blowing.
Thank you, this video sold me on the ramble which arrived today
I had a goose bumps thanks.
just can't wait to get mine next week!
I had again, a wonderful time with you!
You have such a sick channel! Makes me want to spend money I don’t have 😕😂
You need a ride to the blood plasma place? I think I still have a little left😆
That, fine sir, is dopalicious. Especially the choir part. Also your modular setup looks sweet.

Oh that's a really good idea.
Nice one, you can even connect the two with a TRS cable without having to use a midi adapter :D
Great thing about rample is the price. Not many reviews on this nice little module. Great review!
I feel like he had some extra coffee in this vid... nonetheless great stuff...
Zooooooom
Just ordered completely based on this video. Fantastic demo of something that was on my radar but wasn’t necessarily going to be purchased!!
Now that’s a demo. You sold me.
This thing would absolutely destroy with the WORNG soundstage. I love love love squarp
Ordered late yesterday, thanks for bringing this one to my attention!
amazing module and even more amazing module! great job!
This is phenomenal, I'm gonna have to chop up some Whitacre for my Digitakt. Thanks for the idea!
Purchased coming tomorrow! Thanks Jeremy
Sounds dope!
7:10 sounds gorgeous. Gear is very cool also
Dude this thing is brutally awesome!! Thanks for the well done vid!!
Great vid, thanks - not any around! Been waiting for this module for a while. Great price on it is as well. Could add to my Pico Drums x 2 modules at a great price with additional features.
I just bought this today, and thought I’d get myself inspired while waiting by watching this vid. And who do I stumble upon in the comment section….
I want this thing just to expand my Octrack with, also to streamline my system a bit more. Sounds ace! Great demo as always
What you mean by expand your octatrack with it.What you do with both of them?
@@fahey900 Sequencing with MIDI tracks. CC on parameters. PG change for sample selection. Inputs for mixing.
back to this.. i have an issue. i load my own kit, and despite all files are correct size nothing ever triggers on gate 3... any ideas ? thanks
Great demo. Must have one....

Just ordered one halfway through the video, well done!😄
This is rad and beautiful.
remember 5 seconds before this video was released and there were still Ramples everywhere? Ah good times
that dnb is sick. :D good job mate
Sweet module, even better review. Thinking about letting my sample drum for this one. Btw I recognized those guitar chords, that’s iMachine, made a track on my channel with those a few years back
such a sick demo. totally sold!

The Varigate is just a sequencer. You have the same capabilities with your key step pro
Nothin better man. So good
Awesome stuff as usual.

The manual says, random, cyclic, etc..
How do you set those up?
And how do you assign a CV input?
Thanks!
Channeling your inner Richard Devine with this module!
Now has Stereo sample support, uses 2 sample slots 2 outs
Getting into eurorack for the 3rd time…and this is certainly goin in the system.
And I just ordered it, that sucker is on its way!!!!
Bonjour et merci pour cette belle démonstration!! Une question s'il vous plait ..Est ce que tous les sons drum viennent de la machine? merci ! ! ! !
Oh I need this in my system!!
those first sounds are epic. which set are they in the library please?
Bro the intro alone 🥵

Jesus Jer those songs you made were banging dayum
"Squarp Rample Main Edit UA-cam 072220"
some wonderful insight right here
Lolll
I bought one after 60 seconds! 👊🤪 Great vid maan. 👍
this *is* nuts
Very nice but how do you write your rhythmic pattners. Does it also work as a rhythmic pattner generator ? Thank you !
Made me feel feelings - soo good -2x dope
Gonna do a long live session album with this thing or what?
Groove excellent
Hey thanks for the great info as always! Do you know of any other eurorack modules that allows more sample inputs/outputs?
Rample sold!
I’m new to Eurorack (planning my first).
Is this the only sampler for Eurorack?
"That was my dog". Real feels.
He wanted attention
@RedMeansRecording: Are the sounds from 0:00 - 1:33 on the card?
the after jam reaction was hot forealsies

You could slice it up and add random cv to the slice select. It’s modular after all :D
great, thanks for the video.
Hallo, please explain the effect routing with the A-138s.
Dude I would pay so much to hear you create a song with samples from Eric Whitaker
Behringer’s BCR MIDI controller would be a great companion 😋
Hopeful for a refresh of that
@@RedMeansRecording Hopefully around june 2022. Fingers crossed.
"Wow the cost of drum modules adds up fast I wonder what Blake is using... oooooo yes that'll do"
Bonjour Jeremy, is there a way to turn “off” cv assigned effects? I turn them on via assign and the main encoder press, but the manual doesn’t say how to turn them off again? 😎
Jeremy, hope you are well. Current events have a bit rough on mindset. Do you have a vid on starter modular set up ideas?
You're going to either start semi modular like the Moog stuff or 0-coast, or buy an all-in-one like the Pittsburg lifeforms, or build from scratch.
So Dope! X
I think Cuckoo would love this ! This is so cool...
How do you round-robin? Do you have to place samples in folders or do you need to rename them a certain way?
Yes. You name them a certain way. Then set the cycle mode in the rample.
@@RedMeansRecording thanks
I own this now thanks to you (I drive it with Pam). But I’m curious how you choose your samples for your own kits. For all those bass pluck samples, did you create those within the confines of a scale/key?
It's a case of need vs more need!
Bloody awesome!
This is pretty goddamn legit
What did you use for drums at 7:34?
Just got mine. I thought I'd erase samples but after hearing I'm leaving most of them there 😜
Gives me a very Fifth Element- SUPER GREEN vibe

7:10 pls make a full track using that
What’s on the right side to mod the Sampler like chaos pad????
Great demo 👍 I should sell my 2 x music thing radio and get this 👍
