Very well done video! H/As a former Air Force instructor, I appreciate you paying attention to the concept of "Tell them what you're going to tell them, tell them, then summarize what you've told them." You repeated the process several times and showed the results with photos to reinforce the learning of the concept. Very well done, excellent!
I've been doing it this way for about 2 years Robert, but with one slight difference. I find that sliding the Enhance Amount all the way up to 1500, or the top of the scale, and then just a little radius adjustment makes for an incredible trace. I haven't done a video on it because older computers tend to lock up when processing the image in such detail. *Great tutorial though!*
Great video. Tracing has usually been a PIA for me. This process has greatly improved my results. I also saw Jeff's video and it has been a game changer for tracing. Thanks!
I love watching your presentations. You are concise, a good speaker and give clear precise instructions. Your topics are very relevant and very helpful. Thank you so much.
very informative and timely to a project I am working on. I'm working with both lightburn and inkscape . This could really help reduce the number of back and forth between the two tools. Any insight into the trace features capabilities in lightburn vs inkscape? I'm wanting to go from landscape photos to some nice looking vector-lasered art.
Great video. What about burning as greyscale. I know it would take ages, but would you still process the photo as you did for the trace? I'm still learning. Thanks
Yes that what I do as well this process is not to do a pic but to convert a pic to a svg. Very different process. It’s confusing I know! Thank for watching

Thank you for your comments, I know some people don’t like the repetition but that’s How it sinks in for me so I gravitate to that style of teaching.
@@computercreationz Yup, same thing for me. I guess when you get old like me you get dense as well. 🤪😂 Thanks for the reply and have a great evening!

Hey Rich , thanks for the tip, I will have to give that a try for sure. Anything that helps these marginal pics makes it easier.
Two of the greats in one comment section, blessed to have both of you to learn from
Great video! I really liked that you recapped your steps after each section. Really helped my ADD, lol.

This is perfect, I've been fighting with a photo of a chocolate lab for the last week. I'll give this a try to see if it makes it better. Thanks

Great instructions. I notice you use 'grayscale' in the Adjust Image. Can you recommend when you would use the other selections? Thank you
when I’m engraving a picture straight from lightburn I use either stucki or Jarvis. thanks for watching

Locked up my computer. Lightburn could not process the trace image.
very large pictures or limited ram on your computer will sometimes do that
Would this process help with engraving on slate?
it could it the regular photo doesn’t engrave well
But no actual result to show?
I’m shocked you can’t see the difference in the two cars. please take another look this process works well on allot of things.
Rehashing Jeff Fishers video. 👎
What's wrong with that? He acknowledged Jeff and Robert has a nice way of explaining things.
I’m just trying to get this useful info out to more people. sorry you feel that way.
Thanks for looking out for me man. I appreciate that very much. Some people out to make money on UA-cam. I’m not. I just try to help people out.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the donation, I don’t know how I missed this my apologies.
