Currently 13 weeks pregnant and breaking out like crazy, THANK YOU FOR THIS
You could also check out videos by Dr Maren Locke (The Budget Dermatologist), Dr. Jenny Liu and Dr Davin Lim on this subject.
I tend to break out early in the second trimester, after that I get the pregnancy glow :) Hope it'll happen for you too!
Here I am, an un-pregnant single af dude watching this lol. Still, stuff I can tell peeps in the future!
Haha, me too ✋🏼
Your future spouse is going to be very thankfull for that😆 (assuming you are straigth of course)
@@ninaweinberg5008 lol I am and thank you!
Hahaha
I used to be like that. And now when I am literally in this situation. I forced myself to watch it 😣
Not pregnant but it never hurts to use pregnancy-safe stuff in case that changes! Thanks Dr. Dray
I’m 24 weeks pregnant and have been dealing with a lot more acne than my usual...this video is such a help! Thank you for the product references! 💕
31 weeks and I’ve been STRUGGLING my whole pregnancy with terrible acne. Needed this so much!
I'm currently working with 2 schools to get sunscreen as part of the everyday hygiene for 3,4,5 yr olds!!
Thank GOD I found this video - with hormones, lack of birth control and no retinol my skin is the worse it's ever been. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!
This video couldn’t come at a better time! I’m 16 weeks and have been experiencing hormonal acne :/ got a facial yesterday so hopefully it’ll clear up
Thank you so much for making this video! 20 weeks today and I've been looking for products to help with acne.
Thank you so much for this! I love how your advice is always practical and spot on!
Thank you so much for this video! Just found out I'm pregnant and now getting overwhelmed with all the information out there. In looking at a few of my favourite sunscreens, they contain butyloctyl salicylate. Thoughts on continuing to use during pregnancy? Thanks! 😊
This was so helpful! Iv been trying to find products to fix my pregnancy skin issues! Thank you!
Thanks Dr Dray! 25 weeks pregnant and I definitely needed this video. 🥳
Thank you Dr.Dray! This video is so helpful! I’m 15 weeks pregnant and breaking out like crazy! This is going to help me a lot 🤗🤗
Dr dray you’re reading my mind! Thank you for this one! X
Personally, I actually find that azelaic acid is more effective than salicylic acid as a spot treatment. Less irritation/dryness too!
I have been waiting for this video! I'm actually at the end of my pregnancy but I'm sure these suggestions will be great for nursing as well!
ya'll do what she says and see your dermatologist for some finacea (azaleic acid). I used it during both my pregnancies and that stuff is amazing!
Yessssssssss I have been needing this!! Thank you so much!! 💗💗💗💗
Thank you so much, my skin got so bad my last pregnancy I actually had a little minor scarring, I was afraid to use ANYTHING practically and as soon as I was done Bf’ing I got it all back under control with a lot of the products you mentioned I was misled into thinking were unsafe. The EWG is awful, they were one of the big ones that misled me. The next time I’m pregnant now I know I can probably keep things under control using much of what’s always worked for me .
I’m so excited you did this video!! Thank you!
Love the preach about fear mongering against sunscreen!!
Nice video Dr Dray. Thank you and happy Thursday!!
I'm currently with my second pregnancy and I've never had acne like this. This video is awesome.
Hi Dr.Dray!
How about a video on complete pregnancy skin care!
Such a timely video for me, thank you!!
Love your skin, love my skin (because of you), love you! 🌸
Appreciate you Dr Dray, as a vegan and from Houston. Your videos have helped me for some time and now as a mom to be, yours was the first to come up looking for what’s really safe RN.
Thank you so much for making this video! 💛💛💛
Life is funny..it truly is. My sister has acne all day every day, every year. She is over 4o. Every time she was pregnant, acne gone, skin perfect. 🤷♀️
Hormones really be like that sometimes 😆.
🤣
Hello Doc! Could you make a video about skincare related to using saunas? I love sauna and it's kindoff part of my culture. Is there anything I should keep in mind before or after sauna in terms cleaning/moisturising? Is sweating good for my skin? Is it true that applying honey on skin in saunas is beneficial? Very curious! Thank you xx
Always great content, skin care is self love, kindness, and it brings happy feelings, each of us are stunning in our own ways.
Happy Thursday. 🐎💛🎀
Thank you so much
Thank you for the info, perfect timing for me!
Yay! I was hoping you make a newer video for pregnancy skincare :)
There are also a couple of derms who have videos for this.
Thank you! I’ve been so hoping for pregnancy videos!
She has a couple and there are other derms who also have pregnancy videos.
Hi - please could you tell me a little more about these two ingredients and whether they are safe to use on the face - Hydroxyethyl Cellulose & Sodim Dehydroacetate - many thanks in advance
🎉🙌🏽been waiting for this!!! THANK YOU!!!
Perfect timing. Thank you so much.
Great video I hope more pregnant women see it. For me it was a time where I developed melasma and never came back.
Thanks for watching
Thank you! Totally needed to know this!
I've been waiting and DYING for video on this topic. I'm happy to hear my option(s) for the "bumpiness" from pregnancy ( neck, back, shoulders up to the jaw) . So thank you!
Dr Maren Locke (The Budget Dermatologist), Dr. Jenny Liu and Dr Davin Lim also have videos on this topic.
The Ordinary’s Mandelic Acid took away my bumpiness over night! Wonderful stuff!
Thank you for doing more pregnancy skincare videos! My face is an acne war zone at 12 weeks pregnant
Dr Maren Locke (The Budget Dermatologist), Dr. Jenny Liu and Dr Davin Lim also have videos on this topic.
Hi Dr. Dray! Love your videos. Would you also say that Red Light Therapy panels are safe to use during pregnancy? Thanks!
Please do a routine using azelaic acid. Thank you.
I’ve had rosacea/acne since I got cycles back after baby #2. I’ve been breastfeeding or pregnant since so my dermatologist said there’s not a whole lot I can do. I’ve tried Azelaic acid but it didn’t do a lot. Currently pregnant and plan to breastfeed so maybe I can fix my skin in 2024. 😂 But it’ll be five years of bad skin (never previously had skin issues). I can’t wait to take allllll the drugs to get my face back! Definitely wearing sunscreen in the meantime. Will try some of the other remedies you mention. I don’t hold out much hope since Azelaic acid didn’t help but it’s worth a try.
Omg I wish this video came out when I was pregnant, was researching literally everything!!!
Thankyou so much for doing this Dr. Dray♥️
💙💙
She’s the truth for this!
I was so afraid to use anything on my skin, I ended up just using cerave facial wash, aveeno body wash, moisturizer&sunscreen; back to basics because my skin, mainly on my butt, was so sensitive.
It got easily irritated, things I was using before I could no longer use. Even tried switching laundry detergents!
It got especially bad during my last trimester, did at one point use the Sal3 Sulfur soap it helped a bit. I'm 15month PP&I still have little red marks on my skin that are still slowly going away. Size wise I was fine, but my skin is what was caused me the most discomfort during my pregnancy overall.
At the time there was so few products listed as safe&very few videos on this with no clear indication as to why/why not they could be used; this is awesome&I'm so grateful this information is available☺
Yay so happy to see this video 8 weeks and my first few weeks acne has been horrendous 😔😭
Thank you for this! I’m 27 weeks pregnant and recently heard chemical sunscreens shouldn’t be used while pregnant - I have loads! So now I can use them without feeling bad 🙏🏻X
I too have this worry, why is there so much scaremongering around this topic. We need the TRUTH backed by science
I've always struggled with acne but I was really.hoping when pregnant I would get a break and get to experience clear & glowly skin. NOPE not my experience haha 🤣 so here I am
Hi Dr Dray, can you please so a skincare routine, suggestions for someone who is experiencing hormonal rage due to birth control medication aka injection?
Thanks for the video I was having a hard time choosing the right sunscreen because I heard physical sunscreen are the best for pregnant women.
Hi Doc, what about skincare ingredients that are safe for nursing mothers?
Have you heard any concerns about licorice root extract in products being an issue in pregnancy? A lot of products have it now but I’m not sure how safe it is due to so many conflicting answers I’ve found!
Hi Dr. Dray- Do you have a list of washes for acne/ face that can be used also? sorry if I am missing it!
Thank you so much for this video!!!
Thank you for making this so easy--jumped on, watched, bought 3 of the products you mentioned. Hoping they will help as the pregnancy acne is no joke!
Has it helped?
Hi Dr. Dray! Thank you for all the useful information.
On another pregnancy skincare video from 4 years back on your channel, you mentioned in a pop-up slide, that topical sulfur is not advised. Not sure how to link it here but it's at 8:15 min mark in the video.
Could you please clarify if it's safe or unsafe? Thank you!
Hitting all the important topics, one day at a time! Happy thursday, Dr. Dray!
Happy Thursday
Could you please do a video on the prescription product sodium sulfacetamide lotion for rosacea? how to use it, etc. Thanks
Oh perfect timing! Not pregnant yet but have to go of differin before we start trying in the near future ♥️
Thank God i found this video. Thank you Dr Dray 🙏. I have pregnancy acne and was unsure about LED mask but now i know its safe i am definitely investing in the current body mask. 😀
Thanks for this wonderful video! What do you think about the PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil content in the Wishtrend mandelic acid? It does appear at the bottom of the list. Thank you!!!
Perfect timing thank you
Thank you Dr. Dray! This is super informative. Have you heard of Dr. Sam Bunting`s Flawless Skin line? Would love to hear your thoughts about that too. 😍
Dr Dray, do I need to wear sunscreen when using blue light therapy because you have mentioned before that blue light can cause photoaging as well. Thanks!
Hi Dr. Dray! Just went out and purchased a gentle face wash, The Ordinary Azelaic Acid brightening formula, Vichy Spot corrector, and I have my sunscreen. Which order should I apply these?
Hello Dr. Dray! I was wondering if Urea cream is safe during pregnancy? Specifically a moisturizing cream with 5% urea? It's by Malezia. Thank you so much!
Are any of these products good for a moisturizer after ? To keep face from drying out ? 🥰❤️🥰 love this video so much hormonal acne is the worst
Happy day, everyone. Thank you for this content. 😃
Greetings Veronika Jelenc hope u r well n Happy Thursday😀👍💜....
Hi Dr. Thanks for your video. I'm 5 months pregnant and my keratosis pilaris has gotten worse on my legs and arms. Is it safe to use my amlactin 12% Lactic acid lotion?
Thank you for all your wonderful advice Doctor Dray! Enjoy the rest of your day!🌞💛
Thanks! Pregnant now!
Very helpful thanks alot ❤️
What is your opinion on Cos De Baha's Azelaic acid?
Thanks for being so generous with your time and knowledge. 🌸
Penn Smith Skincare (master esty) likes that product.
I have a question about extra virgin olive oil in skincare I've seen it my drugstore several products such as serums and such that have extra virgin olive oil in them and I was wondering if they clogged pores like coconut oil does or is it a good ingredient for helping keep skin moisturized?
Hi Dr. Dray. I truly appreciate this video at 29 weeks pregnant with (first time ever in my life) hormonal acne. I live in Canada and it seems Azelaic acid from The Ordinary is impossible to get. Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you for all you do and represent 😊
I purchase it on wantboard
Amazing video👏🏻❣️
Should Willow Bark be avoided? I have the Glossier Priming Moisturizer Balance and was wondering if I could use it.
Hi Dr Dray, do you have another recommendation for a LED light stim wand? The one you linked before is no longer on Amazon 😢
Using this for future reference... possibly lol
Thanks for watching
🤞🏼 Good Luck 🍀
Children are scary and Dangerous, but they will show you love you have never felt before, from them to you and you to them.
@@jesswhite1 I really want to be a mom but being accountable for another human is terrifying
@@panicstation7 it is terrifying, truly, but it’s beyond worth it. If you seriously want to become a mommy, you will do it. The right time will come. You will know when your ready 💜💜💜
@@jesswhite1 thanks 😌❤️
Hi! I’m wondering if the Cetaphil optimal hydration daily glow cream is safe during pregnancy??
I have a more general question. You uploaded a video 2 years ago on that one JAMA study about systemic absorption of certain chemical uv-filters. Have sunscreen manufacturers actually followed up on the FDA's demand for further toxicological testing? I can't find anything on it and find that rather obscure since the original deadline was November 2019!? :D
besides, love your videos!
19 weeks and my skin doesn't look good. Not so much breakouts, but red spots, so I'm guessing hyperpigmentation. Going to try azelaic acid.
Which cleanser would be good to mix with this routine?
Do make sure your sunscreen is safe during pregnancy. The dermalogica one I used to use has licorice root in it, so I had to change.
Dr Dray,
I just found out I was pregnant yesterday. It’s like you heard me. Lol I love you ❤️
hope these tips help
Congratulations
@@officialthehandsbigadventures thank you so much 💘
Do I need to protect my eyes with LED mask therapy at home (red+infrared light)?
Yessss yessss it’s like she read my comments! Finally someone talking about this :D
There are a few other derms who have videos on this.
Hi Dr Dray! What should we look for in a LED mask to make sure it does help?? Thank you!!
She recommends the lightstim devices and the omnilux masks because those companies have a good track record. Otherwise, it is pretty much an unknown territory
Happy Thursday Dr Dray...see you tomorrow x💙🤩🌷
I'm now pregnant and have to stop my tretinoin. It is tough with my naturally oily skin. My rough skin texture is getting bad now that I've stopped my original skincare regimen
Also what about the Ordinary 7% glycolic acid toner?
Hi Doc! I just found out I'm pregnant, can I continue using HA2% NIACINAMDE 10% and resveratrol 3% from the ordinary? Thank you
More pregnancy safe content pleaseeee
I’m not pregnant nor will I ever be because of mental health disorders but I’m still watching because I just in general need more products lol thanks doc
Hope you can work through your mental health issues
@@Milenaiguess thanks I’m doing better have a great day or night.
Thank you for not being selfish and best of luck to you🙏🏼
Same boat lol! Never having kids due to my mental health
I wish you the best of physical and mental health and I hope that you continue to work through your mental health issues and find a good support system. 💜
Thank you for this!!!! It’s so hard to find good recommendations for acne prone skin during pregnancy!
There are a few other derms who have videos on acne and pregnancy.
@moonrise dreamer Got it. I believe Dr Idriss has also recommend chemical as well but the majority probably are mineral.
@moonrise dreamer Yes, also, it would probably be good to check with the ob/gyn. I find it hard to believe that they aren't giving proper instructions to moms to be.
Hi dr. Was wondering if this is also safe to use during breastfeeding?
Greetings Dr. Dray hope u r well n 🖐Hello Every1 n Happy Thursday😀n what a Wonderful Vid.... thanks n Being Pregnant n Having Acne Not a Good Combination😩 n so your 5 Ingredients Tips.... Really Helpful🔥👍n Continued Blessings to All💜....

Is it okay to use the CeraVe SA cleanser and a prescription Azelaic Acid cream in the same routine? Currently I use the prescription twice a day, and the SA cleanser only at night
I would like to know pregnancy and Infertility treatment safe sunscreen product please!
