So the really important information that needs to be gotten from Milwaukee is: Does the camera have a scratch-resistant sapphire lens? How durable is the camera head/electronics against constant impacts when it's being pushed down cast iron, clay, and even plastic pipe, elbows, fittings and tough debris? What is the warranty on the camera head? Really important: What is the push rod made of? Is it cheap pex, cheap fiberglass pushrod, a cheap fiberglass core, or is it some type of carbon fiber or higher-quality Kevlar coated push rod with multi strand core? What is the warranty on the pushrod against kinks, bends, or slices? If under warranty (or not) for the pushrod, will the rod just be reterminated and the length shortened, or will they replace the entire pushrod? How many Milwaukee centers are going to be able to provide repair for this unit to eliminate long downtime? It's definitely not good that the sonde appears to be terminated on the end of the pushrod rather than a floating one inside the spring. What type of depth do the sondes for both units achieve for locating? ( typically this will also vary with the type of pipe material it's in-so what are those differences too?). Probably can't see buying this unless every distributor is offering a money-back guarantee for the first 10 days if the product is a piece of junk or fails under typical conditions/inspection jobs right out of the box. There's a lot of mediocre pushrod camera equipment out there that fails really fast, and Milwaukee better show some real videos of this equipment going through some tough stress tests.

I just purchased the 120' model looking foreward to trying it out, my vendor sent the locator by mistake and I was thinking about returning it because I already have one from my old system, however after watching this I think I'm going to keep it

Had the camera for a month and I do not like the camera for 1 reason but it is what it is. When pushing back into the drum the push rods catches the metal spring in the control hub which is going to wear out the push cable a lot quicker.

Has anyone used the 120' system for more than 6 months? If so, I think we would all appreciate any feedback regarding its reliability, features, etc.
We just got the system and the audio on the monitor is not good at all. I'm not finding any other reports of issues with this, so I don't know if we got a dud or what. When we record using our phone (through the app) it sound incredible. Using the monitor at approximately 18 inches away you can barely hear anything either using the playback through the monitor or on the phone. We don't see anything covering the mic and the software has all been updated. Any suggestions???

Ian: So if I bring my own tablet what are we talking? Apple iOS or Android? Is it a app I download from the Apple app store or Google Play? Just hope that the software support will be there as each operating system (iOS or Android) updates and I could still use it. iOS is worse when it comes to OS upgrades making apps stop working.

The Pipeline Inspection App will be available in both iOS and Android. Seeing how much time Milwaukee has put into the One Key app, I would expect the same amount of support toward this new pipeline app.

Both iOS and Android will have the app so Milwaukee has given you all the options, either get their M18 monitor or build your own. Also Rob is for sure getting one of the first M18 coffee makers just need to wait for our friends in Red to go ahead and build it.

An excellent question! There are likely Milwaukee dealers within the Philippines, or that can at least ship there; sadly, we are not one of them at this time!
Milwaukee needs to come out with a much cheaper color 1080p or 4k 18v or 12v 50-60 feet chimney inspection camera that has multiple chimney rod adapters.
Agreed, that would be a great addition to their lineup!

Really positive feedback, now that these have been out over a year. We also rent both camera and those have been great as well so pretty intuitive if you’ve got experience with other systems. We’ll also be at WWETT show with both systems in February.
@Ohio Power Tool Any inside info on whether Milwaukee will add trusense type of technology? It can come in handy when figuring out of a pipe can be lined or not

I have the 120' complete system. I so far am not impressed at all. Partly due to the fact that it cost about $12,000 of my hard earned money out of my bank account. The monitor completely gliched last year and after 6 months of fighting Milwaukee for a warranty replacement I got a denial letter for my warranty. After wasting more of my time doing non-profitable phone calls, I got a rep to replace it. Now the new monitor has a view that looks like an old VHS cassettes tape on an old television. Multiple phone calls and emails with no response to date. To say the least...I'm pissed and for sure have buyers remorse.

Wild how they can ask for more than Rigid with no proven record and want around 10k to buy into the system. Most residential guys can get away with a SECON camera for around 2k all together that you can repair yourself and connect to an ipad through bluetooth out of the box. This is a rip off. I could buy the secon and the gas less generator and the 5/8ths cable machine for what this one camera system cost.

These are pretty affordable for this type of tool. But definitely financial investment for anyone working in the field.

Hey Best Friend! Milwaukee actually has three manufacturing facilities; one in Greenwood, MS, one in Jackson, MS, and one in a place called Mukwonago, WI!
I have an older Milwaukee drill and saw and a new fuel drill and saw. Guess what one crapped out doing standard work. The electronic fuel crap. Pull the trigger and they do absolutely nothing. Garbage and expensive. But the old ones are still used every day.
I always have supported Milwaukee but they have become so F-ing greedy and super expensive. For the inspection cam, there are much better price options out there.
Just buy Milwaukee tape measures and waste your time and money. They are sheer crap. Great at first but then crap from there on out. Plain expensive garbage. That is why I switched back to Stanly Fat max. A real tape for the real world.
