@Ohio Power Tool. Thanks Ian and Morgan for all the info about the new Milwaukee plumbing inspection tools. Great features and designs. Hope the plumbers will be happy and productive with your new offerings. I couldn't make out one term SOND? What is that? Thanks.
Hope you, the entire staff at OPT, and your familes stay safe and well.
The sonde is just another term for transmitter. The sonde itself will put out a single signal to locate a specific location. You can buy them as a standalone transmitter, but in this case they're by the camera head so you can locate where the head is in the line.
The Milwaukee camera has a secondary transmitter that energizes the cable itself, so you can trace the full length of the cable while it's in the pipe. This is unique because on most other camera's, they require you to have a separate transmitter to energize the line. Hopefully that clears things up. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@ianopt5715 Thanks Ian for answering. Thanks to everyone at OPT.

can u jet the drain while the camera is in the drain?
Cameras can be in line when jetting water will not hurt it however getting near head can damage camera so not recommended if it can be avoided
