The little mini crescent wrench brought back memories. When I was a toddler my father worked as a missile officer in North Dakota. Dad and another officer were supposed to flip their keys simotaneously to launch the ICBM's. Dad showed his superiors that with 2 mini crescent wrenches, a pulley and a piece of string, that one man could indeed twist rhe two keys simotaneouuly and achieve launch.
My dad worked on bigger ICBMs than your dad and his tool bag was tiny
McGuyver's EDC was a swiss army knife and sometimes a partial roll of duct tape.

Man this is great, mine is almost identical before I’d seen your vid, a few differences but essentially the same and my logic is the same as yours for everything you have in there, also great to hear from someone that actually uses tools.
Funny when you mentioned fixing your muffler with zip ties I was thinking that you should carry some wire. You do. Good work. I love my Wera set too and also carry the Knipex cobras. I also carry the Knipex flat pliers.

I run basically rhe same gear bruh. Good kit, all very useful and quality tools. The Wera tool check plus is very good, im about to get a second one, because i left my first one back home and wont be there for a year so ill own 2. One at each hahah. Worth every penny.

Love your. enthusiasm.great detail of tools& uses.! Put alight in front of table to shine on tools from front to highlight tools. Otherwise tools appear silhouetted only rough out line shows. Put camera a little closer to tools on desk,a little higher up to capture more of tools.
Thanks for doing . Compiling similar kit , but instead if Vice grips ive got 150mm knipex plyers to go with 125mm knipex cobras and a VM RFB400k 1/4" ratchet with tbar & Victorinox Champ & a pickup tool

You can also get metal zip ties. I carry some of that stuff everyday but i carry a leatherman and a bunch of bits and that duck tape on a card.

We’re tool check is great,but you have to choose SAE or metric sockets….the Makita 1/4 drive sockets are a good companion.
The streamlight stylus pro take the clip put it in the middle of the barrel and then you can clip it back on your hat or buy microstream clip and remove old one
The Vic Huntsman has the scissors. It also has the wine opener on the back instead of the Phillips screwdriver but that shouldn't matter since the Wera has the various screwdriver bits.

As awesome as that mini Wera kit is, I just can’t get myself to spend that much on it. The little Icon kit, a Wera multibit screwdriver and a little Makita impact metric socket rubber rail set thrown together seems slightly more versatile and less money. For $20 add a VACO VAC1071 Impact Driver, 7-in-1 Metric Multi-Bit Impact screw driver socket kit and there is much more versatility.
Todd Parker just dropped a video on this exact topic. I was surprised to that the Wera tool check is a decent value which made me feel better about owning it. TBH though I don't love it as much as I assumed I would. I traded out like 1/3 of the bits because of redundancy. The Icon set plus the Makita 1/4 sockets is a better tool set. I'm impressed. You really put together a great kit. Funny story about the Fisher Space Pen. NASA spent a few years and over $1,000,000 developing the pen for use in space. The Russians didn't spend any time or money figuring out how to write in zero gravity. They decided to use a pencil. :))
They obviously knew about pencils at NASA. 😋 Fisher (private company) developed the pressurized pen on their own, and astronauts started using their pens only after they came out in the late 1960s. Some reasons why pens are better in space: Pencils could break off and float around, causing a nuisance, or even be detrimental to sensitive electronics. Pencils are flammable, and NASA wanted to avoid more flammable objects onboard. Look how many people want fisher space pens today, not pencils. Those damn commies couldn't afford developing a pen like Fisher, of course they had to put up with pencils. 😋
Space doesn't exist!!! The biggest lie in mankind history! They tell you earth is a ball to hide the Creator. The earth is flat and covered by a dome made by the Almighty Creator. The blue you see when you look up is actually the dome nothing can get in nothing can get out unless ordained by the Creator, notice you can't see though the blue dome 🤔. Which beggs the question how does NASA show looking down on the earth from "space " but you can see straight thru the blue but when you down on the ground you can't see though the blue 🤔??
