Your finished series is beautiful! It is so intriguing the way you combined abstraction with the graphic numbers & letters. That requires so much patience with the brush. You've got it. I still love the large painting you did one or two years ago where you did alot of finger painting so to speak & used just 3 colors. I'd like to see you do more like that, too.

Thank you, Nancy! Yes, at the moment I'm rearranging my studio so I can get back to the larger paintings on paper - and to accommodate our 2 puppies and new kitty - they'll all be in the studio with me so expect lots of new videos with my furry friends ;)!!

This is exactly what I need right now. I’ve watched your large scale pieces over the years and this is perfect for me to try. I finally retired from teaching and research, so it’s time to play.

The scientist in you comes out when you are exact with your lines. I have fought this myself but maybe I should just accept it! I do love hearing your thought process about choices at each stage!

Yes -I think anything controlled -the opposite of spontaneous and free flowing -is the left brain being able to enter the conversation-it doesn’t always happen to this extent but it was nice to know there was a way both sides of my brain could work together without a fight 😁

Awesome-hardest part-remembering to wipe it off but alcohol or hand sanitizer which has alcohol will make it super clean! 😁

What is the substrate of the slop boards you are using? Love this!

This is like watching a murder mystery - will the b survive or will the 6 win, and what colour will 6 b when it lands on the maroon? dum, dum, dum...stay tuned. Thanks, Pam.

Thanks Ann-I love that! I watch murder mysteries all the time -glad you find this process a bit spellbinding 😁 I’ll be looking at those paintings a little differently from now on-ie “Ok, Whodunit”?? 😂
