Loved the video man! Keep doing what works for you! Like you said, lease purchase is really the best (if not only) way to get a brand new truck paid off, specced how you want it, and well equipped. But also, it has no impact on your credit.
If you are happy, that's all that matters. I have been driving since 1984 as a owner operator. I have been here from the start. Stay safe enjoy your videos.
Hey Jim quick question- have you ever thought about being a local company driver? I have been working as a regional driver for Schneider for close to 1 year 7 months and am going to make my goal to stick it out 2 years to where I can get a quality job where I can go home and sleep in my bed every night. I am used to sleeping in my truck by now but idk I feel like life is kinda too short to sleep and stay in a truck for the majority of days in a year.
@@jimc8802 that’s fair. I do wonder if I would get bored doing local work with driving in one particular area but there’s one way to find out if it’s worth it or not. Safe travels Jim!
@@blueshockey7501 maybe you’ll like it. We are all different and need different things. I did a dedicated route for like a year and a half. I got very bored
I came to prime with 14 yrs experience, been here almost 9 years now, they’ve been good to me. However, prime now isn’t the same prime it was a few years ago and it’s about time to make a move.
@@dariuss.3500 I was actually thinking of looking into them. I just renewed my license and added hazmat, after the fact I thought I should’ve taken the doubles/triples test right away. I might have to go back and do that.
@jimc8802 No. When you work for yourself, you are your own Master. A slave follows orders from the master. A master gives orders to its slaves. I encourage you to leave the plantation and start calling your own shots.
What works for you is all that matters. Pay no attention to other people who probably have tons of problems themselves and that's why they want to criticize others. Can you show more of Roo? She's looks like a great dog. I hope I spelled her name correctly.
You keep going if you can. If not you stop and tell dispatch and they get another driver to come get the load and you stay wherever you are sick until you get better

Hi Jim. You shouldn't have to, but thank you for being straight forward as to why you are doing what your doing. Great video. Be safe out there.
Great video Jim! Thanks for the insight

I guess that's all that matter ❤
All that matters is you are happy and you are making the money you feel like you deserve!
Stability and peace of mind mean a lot. If you are happy with your company that is a good thing.
Loud and clear Jim C. Brother when you gonna come on my podcast we’d have a blast together I’m serious man!!
I’m scared of that. Lol. I’m thinking about it though.

Yep. I have thought about it many times but my heart is in OTR. I like the change and unpredictable.

Keep them videos coming boss.
If your happy driving with the company your with, that's all that matters. I would overlook, and ignore people's comments. Be careful.
Remember, as long as you work for someone else, you will always be their slave.
You’re always a slave to whatever your doing even if it’s your own business.

I will show Roo. I always do lol.
What do you guys do if you get sick, flu etc. on the road?
You keep going if you can. If not you stop and tell dispatch and they get another driver to come get the load and you stay wherever you are sick until you get better
It’s happened to me a couple times. I’ll always push through and deliver the load then push my availability out a couple days and rest.
He's back
Prime is a great company! Got me started in the industry and gave me my career. That and your patience, 🤣. 🖕🏼the haters!
Hey Jaymes!
Nice video thank you
I heard they slapped the cuffs on ole Marky Mark Staite right there at the terminal.
No. He was gone long ago. It didn’t happen at prime
Hey do you know if prime recruit drivers from Europe? Good to se ppl with own opinions.
I know I’ve had people on my truck that only had a visa. So I would say yes. But call Nikki to make sure
U gonna stay after they start micromanaging you with a driver facing camera?
Yes. I don’t care about that camera.
@@jimc8802 you don’t care about having to watch training videos on the new tablet based on camera incidences?
@@indo3052 I’ve heard it’s not bad. It’s just there. I’m not going to change all my plans based on that camera
Wow, you should stay there
I will as long as it’s good for me
I’ve lost your phone number how do I obtain that again?
