Ive noticed since our power went that our salt isnt getting used and lime is coming in. All my settings are set as the video but when i try to firce a regeneration nothing happens
i have a problem about setting the softener automatic valve for supply boiler water cap 1 ton/hour could u suggest the best cycle for regeneration,backwash until rinse
Hi, the amount of time for each cycle will depend on your water quality. A good start is to run it till you find that your still getting some hardness after the softener and then set a interval that is about 30% shorter than it took to get to that point.
Our F26b1 do not proceed to normal operation screen, it just continuously display the start up screen where all part of the screen is lit and after which showing the model then cycles from then on. Is my F26b1 needs to be replace? or is there a way to reset the entire program? thank you for your reply
Hi, Check for an agent in your country, they should be able to check it for you. You are normally able to replace just the damaged component and then don't need to replace the whole valve.
@@FilterShopZa This is only the the tank that I'm using for filtering, not softening. It's it ok for that. I get a small amount of water coming out the brine port.
@@sandygrant-taylor8819 Hi, That sounds like the valve head isn't sealing properly internally. If you never use the brine refill or regeneration modes you should be able to seal it off to prevent the water leaking, if it is connected to a brine tank there is normally a float valve at the other end.
The stripes moving is just an indication that it is in operation, as such a different colour might just be model dependent. Glad the video could help you with the setup.
Hi! Isn't the regeneration time short? 60 minutes is a lot, but the set 1 is not enough. There is no time to absorb the correct amount of salt water from the tank. I don't want to tease, I just want to help. Have a nice day everyone.
Hi, you would want to it just to run long enough to empty the brine tank. The time will vary depending on the pressure in your line and the size of your brine tank.

It will completely depend on your water quality and what the rest of your system is.

Hi, I think Backwash is 30min, regen 45min, brine refill 15min, Fast rinse is 10min. You would however want to set them to your specific situation.

hows the performance of this valve ?
If i have a tank for filtering and a second tank for the cationic resin, can i set the the regen and refill to 0 minutes?
If you set it to zero minutes then your never going to regenerate the resin and it will get depleted very quickly.

It normally keeps its program for about a day of no power.

You can Reset it to factory settings, by disconnecting it from power for more than three days. Not sure if you can reset it manually.
