Thanks so much matie. Yeah the weather was totally yuck. Saving grace was that it wasn't too cold. Probably similar to what you had the night before I guess. We had a great time regardless. We're both out again on Friday, so fingers crossed for better conditions.
Hat weather was really pants Mark, made me laugh watching this, there's a comedy aspect to your channel which is unique... Very entertaining. Cheers mate
Hey Mick. Yeah, was totally yuck weather. Great fun regardless. Glad you enjoyed the video matie. Hopefully we'll get out for a camp soon. Hope you're well mate.
Wow, that looked intense! 😅 Major props to you both for braving that weather. Loved the camaraderie between you and Paul - those hot toddies looked like lifesavers! 😂 Also, that drone footage at the beginning… EPIC! 🤩 Definitely inspired me to hit the trails, rain or shine!
Thanks so much mate, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. As you know all too well, it's rather time consuming putting these videos together, so it's awesome when someone leaves a comment to say they've enjoyed it. The weather was yuck, but it was good fun and Paul was a great laugh. Look forward to your next video mate.
Ah, thanks so much Lesley. Glad you enjoy the videos. Although yes, it would be nice to get some flipping decent weather for a change. I'm out again this Friday and it's looking pants again! 😂
Mate, your commitment is top notch. You always get some great camera angles, and I don't think I've seen you camp in decent weather yet! Fingers crossed April will be better!
Thanks matie. Unfortunately it doesn't help me get anymore views. 😂 I can't remember the last time I had a wild camp with decent weather. Indeed fingers crossed for April!! Let's hope we luck out with some of that late April sunshine!
Unlike John, you didn't take an early bath, despite the weather. So tragic to loose a son in such circumstances. Channeling grief into something positive! ❤
Ha ha, yeah, Paul was slipping all the way down Kinder. He managed to survive right until we got to the bottom. John's story is a tragic one, losing a child must be horrific. Like you say, it's great to see him and all the others with him channeling the pain into something so positive.
Hey Gaz. Yeah it's been really good. I've used it throughout the winter, had no delamination issues and it's kept me nice and warm. I'm a cold sleeper, so it's definitely a warm pad. Apart from one night I haven't used a CSF pad underneath, I only line the tent floor with a foil mat. Re comfort, it's not bad at all, not as comfy as my Big Agnes Zoom UL, but it's certainly not uncomfortable. I can highly recommend it mate. It will certainly see you through our long cold winters. Thanks for watching and commenting pal. I enjoy your channel. 👍
@@trickofthetrail cheers pal. I was looking at the zoom for a summer pad but I've heard stories of it not being as warm as they say it is? Plus I rather just have one pad for all year round 👍 I'm on the light tour 5.8 at the moment but it did let me down once so I need a decent one and keep the light tour as a backup
@@GrizzlyGaz Yeah, the Zoom UL is dead comfy, but it's not warm at all. I'll just be using it as my summer pad, but could quite happily just use the Tensor.
Hey, thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the video. The boots are Vivobarefoots Tracker Forest ESC. They are by far the best most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Highly recommend.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💗💗
I also have the Stone Glacier Skyscraper 2P. It's a pretty stellar deal considering it's identical to the Slingfin Crossbow2 @$720.
Absolutely spectacular atmosphere my friend. Brilliant 👌
Thanks so much matie. 👍
A brilliant video of a very wet Kinder.🙂
I really enjoyed watching this, it looked like the two of you had a good laugh together.👍

I like the premix hot toddy!
It's the way to go for sure!!

Ah thank you so much. That really means a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed it. 😊
Great video buddy, had a right laugh watching the events unfold again.. forgot about my camera dropping skills as well across the two days!!
Cheers matie. Round 2 coming up! Fingers crossed for better weather hey?
How are you finding the Nemo tensor extreme pad? Is it comfy? Could you use it throughout winter with no CSF pad underneath?
