    Great informative video. Because people feed alligators at the river exit in Dunnellon they had to remove 4 alligators that had been there for years never bothering anyone. It is a shame people can't follow rules and these creatures were killed. Also, this is nature no need to freak out if you see an alligator, otter, or turtle.

      Also not a stupid question at all. As long as your dog is with you and you are letting them go up on banks it is fine.

    Hello do you know how busy it is on a Sunday in September? Also are the falls accessible to enjoy 😉 and if so where would it be located. This is my first time coming and I live in Florida.

    • @Adventureswithbecky
      @Adventureswithbecky  3 роки тому

      Weekends are most busy just be there by 7:30 am to get in the park. Falls are located at the head springs and can be seen by the walking trails. They have a Kayak launch and rentals at the park as well. I would suggest renting from them as the walk in from the parkong area from where you can launch is a long ways. The swim area there is nice and big and has a dock you can dive off. Bathrooms, trails, picnic areas are all on site.

    Do you need a wetsuit to go snorkeling? Can you snorkel off the tubes and get back onto them? Can you do both at the same time? Or do you have to choose one activity at a time. Thanks. I have tubed down the river many years ago. I did not get off to snorkel.

    • @Adventureswithbecky
      @Adventureswithbecky  2 роки тому

      Tubing is much more difficult and most who end up tubing didn't enjoy it because you can't get to the sides to check out other spots or get out of the sun for a bit. For our snorkeling tours we paddle up with our customers then tow back the vessels while they snorkel down and we have the dive flags for them and are their eyes. Most don't use wetsuits unless you get cold easily. The water is 72° all year. You do have to have a dive flag if snorkeling unless you are holding onto your vessel or tube at all times and even then you should have one due to safety and motorized vessels on the water. If you need help with a snorkel tour or rentals feel free to see the packages we have and paddling events on our business page at facebook.com/sunshinelifecompany

    In one part of the video you said swimming is only allowed in the roped area then shortly after that you talked about snorkeling. How can you go snorkeling if you're only allowed to swim in the roped area?

    • @Adventureswithbecky
      @Adventureswithbecky  2 роки тому

      You can only swim in the roped section at the head springs while in the park. Outside of the park while kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, diving ect you can swim and snorkel once you pass the protected area at the head springs. The river is only 6 miles long and only the head springs has those restrictions.

      @Adventureswithbecky  Рік тому

      At the head spring (State park) it is the park entry fee which I believe is still 2 per person. KP Hole is 7 per person and Blue Run is free. All fill up pretty fast during peak season (tubing season) and on weekends.
