New Christian here, and I really liked your Biblical commentary at the end. Thank you for sharing.
Hey new Christian this woman who preaches is a God Damn thief!
Please go support the new movie “Sound of Freedom” in theatres near you. It’s very important
Welcome to the family! ❤
heaven is rejoicing!!! welcome to the family✝
Welcome to our family, brother (or sister)
❤BIBLE VERSES OF THE DAY❤
EXODUS 3:14 KJV
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.
Californiablend, GOD bless you!
One of my absolute favorite verses. God is so powerful, He doesn't have a name...He just IS!
❤🙏
Amen, sis. Thank ye fer the true scripture!
🙌🏼🙌🏼
9:58
Love that detail. He throws away all the gaudy stuff, but he keeps the ring because he got that from Ramesses and he's still his brother.
I always enjoy your reactions, but this was special. Seeing a young woman who isn’t afraid to bear her testimony of God the Father, and Jesus Christ warms my heart.
Yep I love how she doesn’t hold back on her excitement
Timecode 26:50 I do a bible study of Exodus that shows how The Prince of Egypt differs from the bible. Then at 35:18 If someone wants to get saved I discuss how to do so. ❤
Awesome movie
I love that shirt you're wearing. :D It shows how much of a caring angel you are. And yeah, given how the Egyptians enslaved God's people, I wouldn't put much stock into their historical accounts of it all.
The best, most shining reaction that I have seen of yours. Your courage is heart felt. I am very intrigued of your perspective of Ridley Scott's Exodus starring Christian Bale.
I really enjoyed your reaction. Your faith shows because you were more joyful than in other reactions. And your study at the end was very good because you are a very good passionate story teller. You should react to other religious themed movies. Have you reacted to Ben Hur, the original one form the 1960's? If not you should. You would enjoy it.
You're right, nothing compares the words of God. This was really great. Thank you for for the wonderful reaction and reading from THE book. I truly enjoyed and appreciated it.
I am not a religious person but I do believe this is a beautifully powerful film.
Its not about religion, when you tell story of something that happened to you is it fakebecause its story ? Or its just experience ?
same, every other religious movie i watched as a child that i've rewatched now was extremely political and bigoted. this movie is just telling a beautiful story and remains one of my movies of all time/not to mention the amazing animation and soundtrack
@@alcatraz0643this isn’t an experience that happened to anyone, it’s literally just a story, but it’s a beautiful movie.
@@danielkelly8870Yes its reality, just because you wish it wasnt doesnt make it true, bible is word of God and God never lies. And all of that was just prediction of Jesus. And that law we have still in us, there are just 2 kinds of people. Those who repented and those who didnt.
@@danielkelly8870it’s based off the book of exodus in the Bible yes all this did really happen it’s not just some made up story for your amusement all these things did happen the Red Sea is a real thing God did choose Moses to go to Pharoah to let’s the people go.
This movie brought Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston together. Classic off that alone
YES!!!... And while both Whitney and Mariah were at the peak of their powers too!!!... #MtRushmore
The gut wrenching yet beautiful re telling of this is the brotherly love that Rameses had for Moses. Which goes to show that serving Yahweh and following his will can sometimes come at a personal loss.
Yes true. But another part is that Ramases himself refused to change. Ramses also made a choice too. I think that is something we sometimes forget. When you are trying to change your life others are making choices to. These choices bring you to different places.
I really wish they would make more of these movies with stories from the bible. The animation, the music, the cast, are all unbelievably good. They also made one called Joseph King of Dreams which is also amazing!! Loved your reaction, God bless.
They have one about Joseph the king of dreams. You should watch it
Angel Studios is making a cgi animated David movie.
The Lego animations of the bible are actually really cool too
It was so refreshing to watch a reaction to this movie by someone who actually knows what’s going on ❤ I still watch this movie all the time and every Passover because it’s such a special movie that brings a human aspect to Moses’ earlier years. I loved your Bible study afterwards also! I agree it’s a very different interpretation of Moses’ story, but I still think they did an excellent job in bringing in a message of the power of community and faith to such a broad audience. That’s what was most important and inspiring to me about it. I’ve seen this movie probably a hundred times and I still ball my eyes out 😂
You are officially my favorite reactor! You have such a beautiful heart, and seeing you get so excited and joyful by your Christian faith is such a delight to witness! As a Texas man who became a Christian 12 years ago, this is one of my top 3 movies of all time.
Amen. Thank for the witness at the end. You’re amazing.
This movie is so good. I really wish this animation style would return.
Yes! A lot of cgi doesn't hold up but this animation is still chefs kiss.
Another classic!!!... I remember seeing this in theaters back in the day 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
This movie is a masterpiece to believers as well as atheists
Even though they took a lot out from the book of Exodus, I still heavily enjoyed the film. Very well acted, the animation was phenomenal and I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it was.
This movie had a lot to do with me surrendering my life to messiah. The Holy Spirit has used this movie many times to speak into my life and give me inspiration. I’m glad that you intertwine your faith and share the Word with your folks here. It’s part of the reason I subscribed. I’m with you on the mission. Keep it up!
I especially like the depiction of the burning bush, it’s what spoke to me the most, they really caught Gods character there, powerful and commanding yet gentle and compassionate. Literally 🔥
Lol I’ve been writing these as I’ve been watching that’s why I keep commenting, also your explanation of Passover was perfect. I still celebrate Passover til this day. We get together for a week and break bread and share wine to represent how Messiah saved us just like He saved the Hebrews here. 👌
You should watch "The Ten Commandments" starring Charlton Heston and Yule Brenner. The best movie adaptation of a biblical story I've seen
All The Bible stories are historically True.
The only thing I know is that they are digged scriptures probably from different people in that same ancient era and build a story gathering those scriptures together.
Not only a fun musical, but the words are true.
I really appreciate you
opening up the Scripture to set the story straight, so to speak. I have watched several reactions, most of whom are non Christian or other faiths and it’s very different hearing the diverse reactions. Thanks for reminding and hopefully encouraging people to dig into the real story.
Thr epic animated adaptation of The Ten Commandments.
Thank you so much for the fantastic review and that heartfelt invitation. I love to see the hands and feet finding its way into new forms of media.
I think they did a phenomenal job on this movie. They set out to make the most compelling story they could, that translates well to a movie format, while still being relatively accurate to the biblical account of the events. I think they nailed it! The brother dynamic may not be accurate, but I think it was a necessary addition. It raises the emotional stakes of the situation and gives the audience something to latch on to. Its far easier for people to relate to a conflict between two brothers, than between God and a nation. It also makes since that they would cut out the Aaron dynamic, since it would mean you're main protagonist would have a speech impediment.
After he sees God's backside, notice the relief on his face and new found confidence
thanks for the clear gospel message at the end
Catholic here from Australia so glad I saw this in cinemas I was only 9 just so glad I got to experience this masterpiece in my lifetime.
I knew I was gonna like you as soon as I saw you in the thumbnail of this video. Prince Of Egypt is one of my favorite Biblical movies and I get crazy chills and goosebumps every time I watch it. And of all the reactions I’ve seen to this incredible movie yours is the best by far. You know the real story and you understand the emotional and spiritual aspects and effects of this movie and that speaks volumes. From one believer to another, thank you. I’m so glad I found your channel. I think I’ll stick around.
As someone who finds it hard to understand the Bible your breakdown in the end was everything please don't stop this helped me understand so much more!!! 🙌🙌🙌❤️
One of DreamWorks greatest creations
I can honestly say that I love your reactions. But knowing what I know now about your love of Christ and your relationship with out Father? You are top of my list of favorite content creators. Jesus IS Lord and this video filled me with joy and warmth. Thank you so much!
Yeah JESUS is lord, and This so called Christian California blend is a G damn scammer and thief!
Know it's not the most accurate adaptation, but I love how this film was an emotional exploration of Moses caught between two worlds and going through a moral awakening. Also thought the scene of Ramses being given back the ring to say "freeing my people was the only reason I came" was a poetic way of saying God "hardened his heart." And the cherry on top being that the last "DELIVERY US" line was delivered by Moses' mother.
So happy to finally see this reaction I love how you went in depth on what the scripture actually says about Moses story would definitely love to see you post more about your faith journey and hear your testimony God bless💪🏾
I loved your reaction! A note about the forty years thing, many historians believe that forty was more of a number meant to represent a “complete” amount of time rather than literally forty years. That’s why the number appears so often in scripture, particularly in the Old Testament.
We're doing lessons on this part on the book of Exodus now in my church🤩🤩🤩
Y’all got to the part wen TMH said Israel is my son even my FIRSTBORN
@@KingLewis52 TMH???
I don't think so yet. We're at chapter 7 of Exodus and we're supposed to be reading up to 16 for questions to bring to our pastor 😊
@@quisimixtv TMH=The Most High nd y’all have passed it then it’s exodus 4:22-23
@@KingLewis52 oh okay.
Thank you for revising the word of God at the end stating what the Bible actual states happened! The Prince Egypt is one of my all time favorite movies, great reaction! 🙏🏾
one of my fav movies as a child. This movie deals alot with holding grudges and therapy and forgiveness. Something I am struggling with now. The visuals were amazing I love it so much. The fact that Bal Kilmer voiced both God and Moses is something I enjoy alot. The power of words is something as well.
For example.... when Moses says single handedly his brother would bring the greatest empire to ruin... he did because of his stubbornness and pride.
Moses would never gain a burden like the one that would be passed down from pharoah.... very true he gained an even greater one.
When Ramses says that there will be great cry in Egypt.... God said ight for show
Fun fact: Moses, after the burning bush, never wore sandals for the rest of the movie making him realize that he believed that everything and everywhere is holy ground 😳😊
I absolutely love your reaction to this movie, and hearing your knowledge of all the differences between the movie and the Truth. Most people that react to this movie don't really know much about the Bible. Thank you for giving the Gospel message as well! God bless you!
Thank you for the Bible study! Inspiration for me (and I'm sure others) to get back into the Word. Stay blessed, sis!
I really enjoyed the reaction, and as a sister in Christ I enjoyed the ending commentary ❤ they also made Joseph King of Dreams, which I really enjoyed but was a much smaller budget production. But would love to see your reaction to it anyways. ❤
loved that one too!! I wish Dreamworks would make more of these movies.
The female singer is Ofra Haza, an Israeli Jew of Yemenite descent. Her parents were born in Yemen. You can hear that influence in her singing.
Yay! Glad you finally saw this imperfect but well-intentioned and well-crafted film.
Love how you go back to the Word of God as the ultimate authority ❤️ Also, I had never really noticed the change to Aaron's role/character in this movie, so thank you for pointing that out!
It's so nice to see a reaction from someone familiar with the source material. I also appreciate the sincerity of your testimony.
Your channel is a blessing, thank you.
I saw this in theatres back in the day. Just rewatched it recently and it still holds up!
Awesome reaction as usual. Thanks for the Bible study and spreading the word!!!
You’re something else I swear, I enjoyed every single bit of your reaction 😄
My third favorite version of this story. Cecil B Demille's classic is just too much great acting to surpass. Also quite fond of the Battles BC take on Moses as a military leader.
i really love that you openly talk about your faith especially in the times we live in... you've received a new subscriber✝❤
YOU got this reaction right! God bless you sister... The only YT channel (I am aware of) that used this opportunity to spread God's Word! Bravo, Bravo, Bravo
CY on the other side :)
Love the Bible study❤, I just came back from a vacation bible school trip and Romans 10:9 was one of the main bible verses we taught the kids. Seeing your video today makes me so happy, and that you included your bible study❤😊
Great reaction and analysis! God bless you, Californiablend!
Ramses looked sad when Moses says the reason why’s he back, was because he was expecting his brother to be there for him. This movie is more focused on Moses and Ramses relationship getting apart.
There is ni oart two, but THERE IS A PREQUEL with Joseph story ❤
1) i love your reaction's, being autistic the more emotion someone displays (in the face) the better i enjoy it, and you never fail to deliver.
2) this is one of my favourite stories as a child despite not being religious myself.
3) have you thought of doing an audio book or podcasted on the bible, because I've never been so engrossed in a biblical story like the enthusiasm you brought to this one, and maybe i would be more religious if i grew up with that same energy.
not saying i would become religious but hearing other stories in your energy would get me more invested and interested, and hearing your take did make me think more about modern life and my on actions.
This movie was my whole childhood. Great reaction ✝️
Pharoah: Who is this God that I should listen to Him?
God: Allow me to introduce Myself.
God is whatever we NEED him to be and not whatever we WANT him to be. You said it right.
I think Rameses was sad because, for many years, he thought his brother was dead, and when he returned, he was not the same young man Rameses knew, and he did not return as a prince of egypt and the little brother Rameses always knew. He returned to defy Pharaoh, not because he wanted to stay and live with Rameses again, but to demand his people be set free.
I don't justify Pharaohs actions or inaction, but I think many of us would have done the same in Rameses place. The fear of losing the respect as authority (authority based on the fact that Pharaohs are conmected to the Gods of Egypt), a role which you've been trained to hold your entire life, a huge part of your identity, something you've always been strictly reminded of by your father, the fear of not fullfilling the expectations that the father has on you... clashes with the love for his brother and with Moses's mission. Still, that doesn't justify what he does or doesn't do.
Great review and God Bless!
Saved by the blood! Thank you so much for this content and sharing your testimony.
damm seeing this brought back so many memories thank you for the reaction
Great reaction, others I watched on YT watch this movie w a sense of irony, like they’re smart. Thanks for posting
I just found your channel and I already adore you. Thank you for speaking about God.
Thank you, for reminding us to look at the scriptures for truth!
Another great Christian movie I recommend is kingdom of heaven. It's just as epic as prince of Egypt.
Love your commentary on the movie. So glad you get into how the film differs from the scriptures. 🙏
I watched your review all the way through. I wanted to say keep doing the Lord's work, and may God bless you, my sister in Christ. 🙏
As a Muslim I absolutely LOVE this story of our prophet. Fun fact, prophet Moses is mentioned more in the Quran than prophet Muhammad. He’s so beloved to us. As is Jesus Isaac Jacob Abraham all of our sacred prophets.
Mosses was higher then a prophet actualy. No one came to his level of closness to god
No matter your faith, this movie is incredibly beautiful and moving.
Loved the video could we have more of your bible study ? i loved how passionate you are about the Bible
Amen, love the ending of this video. ❤️ 🙏🏾
Love the shirt!
Honey, I subbed as soon as you whipped the Bible out for some commentary. Love your work!!
Awesome! Thank you!
I love this movie. I'm glad you reacted to it and enjoyed it. I love your shirt. Where did you get it?
Great reaction, informative input, and overall, I really felt your energy with this one. Keep up the good work. If you don't mind me asking, which denomination do you belong to?
Some casts are start studded, this one is dripping with them.
Seti(Pharoe): Sir Patrick Stewart
Moses: Val Kilmer
Ramses: Ralph Fiennes
Aaron: Jeff Goldblum
Miriam: Sandra Bullock
Zypora: Michelle Phifer
And many more
Never forget those effects animations by Brenda Chapman a Legend in animation and did amazing work in this flick. Chapman and Aaron Blaise are incredible animators that blew my mind in the 90s : )
35:12 there’s no sequel to the prince of Egypt, but there is a sort of prequel. Well, idk if it really counts as a prequel but it might as well be. It’s the movie Joseph king of dreams which is based off of the story of Joseph in genesis
I love the shirt
20:47...It took me a second time to realize the meaning of this pun. By the way, would you consider reacting to more Christian-themed movies?
The stage version is now on BroadwayHD...it's wonderfully done!
I have faith but I'm not religious. This movie is wonderful, I get emotional every single time I watch it.
Damn I was gonna say that about the lamb n how it foreshadows Jesus but U beat me to it during the reaction I'm impressed.
They made a follow up animation it's the prequel story came out in 2000 Joseph king of dreams. Should do a reaction to it.
Your shirt is awesome. 😃
Joseph: King of Dreams is made by the same studio. I can't say how accurate it is, but the storyline felt very real. And the music is amazing. Personally, I was able to relate to the Joseph movie more than The Prince of Egypt.
One of my Favorite Movies 😎
What a movie, love seeing reactions to this.
Your amazing !!
Miriam was geeking I was like dang she dropped a bomb on that man right there
Listen...idk where everyone who watches this video is in their lives right now. But don't think that this world is the end all be all. We have an opportunity to live for eternity in heaven with our lord savior Jesus Christ. Who lived the life we couldn't live and died the death we should of died on the cross for our wrong doing. If we accept that gift and live our lives according to his word...I promise you the peace will be like nothing you ever imagined.
Thank you for clarifying the biblical context and promoting Christianity 😍
Ofra Haza's voice ❤
I appreciate your reaction. Also, what wasn't eluded to or mentioned was that Miriam hated Ziporah for Moses because she was a midianite, historical enemies of the Israelite people. Also, she disliked Moses' wife because of her dark skin, which caused God to punish her with leprosy.
Great reaction!
Which is interesting because the middinites where actually distantly related to the Israelites. This is why Jethro was a high priest. But it just goes to show how family is often the biggest enemy. I mean Jacob's brother formed the Edomites as well. And then their is Lots children. All tribes that where later big enemies of Israel. They all had the Gospel but when they turned away from the gospel gradually they fell into idolatry and became almost worse then others who didn't once have the gospel. Very true to life. The middinites here were still practicing belief in Yaweh.
Amazing movie...! One of the best animations ever
There's a series from Brazil that is called "oz dez mandamientos" in spanish "Moises y los diez mandamientos" in English "Moses and the 10 commandments" is a great series many people loved it in latin America but you can only watch it in Portuguese or in the spanish dub and i don't know if you speak Portuguese or spanish.
Amen.
Where did you buy your shirt from? I want one!
Watching from New Zealand. Can we get an Exodus movie reaction next please?
