oh look. someone that actually knows how to create an effective learning video on a topic. awesome. subscribed
Yup. Same.
I looked for about an hour at various things and had NO idea what they were all talking about.. this was clear. Nice.
There are always levels. And she’s on a different one. Many of these other folks just enjoy sounding smart. She breaks it down!!
yup same! great vid and explanation TY
yes very skilled at content creation and presenting
You explain things so much better than most day trading youtubers. Keep the content coming.
Thanks, will do!
Agree
Can I just say how long I've been trying to figure out trailing stop losses work and this one video with a simple graphic just explained it in like 10 seconds. Thank you!
Seriously. simply explained & super useful. Her video was great.
Totally agree
Perfectly stated!
Agreed
The animation made it very understandable. I liked her explaining various strategies, i.e. as you get closer to your ideal profit price, shorten the trading gap from $5 to $2, so you don't lose a lot of profits.
Having just listened to the Interactive Brokers video on this subject and barely understood a word, I was floored by how simply and elegantly you explained it. Thank you. Subscribed.
This is the most clearest explanation I've heard concerning stop loss. You really take your time and go slow so everybody can understand it. Awesome.
What if I want it to trigger at a certain price and if it goes down it does nothing until it goes back to the trigger price?
I have watched so many videos on this subject and this is, by far, the best one - so clear, concise and loved the visuals - well done!
So clear and concise! No unnecessary lengthy talks or adding flashy music or effects to explain something. Thank you for being so on point! Made me understand trailing stop loss a lot better now.
I think your explanation is the clearest and easiest to understand that I have come across!
Wow. Blown away at how simple you made trailing stop loss easy to understand. I've been wondering for a while what the difference was and this summed it up nicely. Excellent job!
I have been looking for something like this for ages and it's taken me until now to find these wonderful, simple yet beautifully detailed explanations. I totally did what you said and watched your previous video first and it cleared a couple of things up for me too. Couldn't click the like and subscribe buttons quick enough
I can’t thank you enough for the visual examples in your videos! I’m a visual learner and thanks to your video so much makes a lot more sense! I now have a complete understanding of some of the terms and their functions! You’ve got my support and 👍
Arvabelle, you are absolutely incredible at breaking down stock investing concepts. Truly appreciate the great work!!
Couldn't be happier to found you. Thank you so much for this video and the previous one of types of orders. I am so much better with visuals and illustrations. Bless you
Glad it was helpful!
Glad I found this channel. I love that you have the spirit of a teacher and that you get straight to the point. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely the BEST explanation I have seen on the trailing stop loss. I tried to understand it from several sources but you nailed it. Keep up the great work
All this time, I'm hunting for resources and then I find you. Thank you for your tutorial. So helpful.
Trailing stops finally make sense. Thank you and enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for watching!
The best explanations I've found so far!!!
Arvabelle, you have a talent for explaining this, and your use of visual aids was icing on the cake. Thanks for refreshing my understanding of a trailing stop!
I have viewed so many videos and read so much material without understanding any of it. Thank you for making this video for those of us that don’t understand most of the stock market jargon out there and don’t work in the business. 🎉
Your videos are so educational! You make these concepts so easy to understand. Thank you!!
Great job explaining trail stop. I'm fairly new to trading but after this video I fully understand what a Trailstop is and I will add this technique to my list of trading strategies.
This is the best and most well explained video online, well done gurl !
The visual side by side comparison of the trailing stop and regular stop was extremely help. Thank you!
Thank you for making this video. New to investing on my own and struggled to find quality videos to explain the different buy/sell methods. This was perfect for me at my level.
Glad it was helpful!
OMG thank u SOOO much Suzanne, I'm reaching the next level of investing and this is one of the last things i need to learn, but i would like to see a video talking more about dividend investing and things such as payout history, pe ratio, volume, market cap and how they determine if a stock is worth investing long term or short term.
Clarity, simplicity and user friendly. I learned a lot, thank you Arvabelle!
Thank you for simplifying these order types. Just brilliant!
Wow! I am NOT the brightest tool in the shed. After watching a few videos about trailing stop loss and still not quite getting it, this is the one that really helped me understand. Thank you!
sharpest
This covered everything I wanted to know. Spot on. As a visual learner, it was exactly what I needed. Thank you!!! Now the hardest part is figuring out that trigger delta percentage or dollar amount for each trade...
Precisely. Say for instance you were to protect your gains of 100%+ what would be a good trigger Delta percentage for such a trade?
@@walfordiii Dome people will use what is called the Average True Range, or ATR; the most common is a 14 day ATR. If you poke around you can probably find the math to use to set up a spread sheet; but easier is to use a charting program; TC 200 or STock Charts both will have it (you may need to do some setup). even with that information, it is up to you to decide how much of that you wish to use. for example, the ATR may be $2.27, to pick a number. That would be fairly tight stop, as in the last 14 days the stock averaged that much move. Or you might want to do some multiple of the ATR; 2x or maybe 2.4x . One ETF I trade had some large down moves; after taking the ATR I fgound tht the largest down move in a day was 2.4x. Hope that helps.
The very BEST explanation of trailing stop on UA-cam. Thanks!!
Your videos are so well done. The way you explain things are so easy to understand. Thank you!
How did I only just now discover this awesome channel?!
Awesome videos and very informative! You make things crystal clear and simplify it with great examples. Would you happen to do options as well 😅
This is one of the best videos that I have seen so far on trailing stop-loss order.
Thank your for being the best video on UA-cam explaining this! The visual was so helpful🚀
That was a great clear and concise explanation of a trailing stop loss! Thank you so much!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you!!! Great job explaining. I’m kinda new to this (8 months) and it definitely helped clear some things up.
Glad it was helpful!
What platform are you using? Webull?
Excellent explanation of trailing stop loss I would not have understood it without your visuals and the way you presented it
You are a amazing teacher. I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you!!!
Thank you very much - really helpful! However, I struggle with the trailing step. Could you explain how to determine the best step (stocks in USD)?
Thank you for making this video. It confirms my understanding of the trailing concept. Very helpful to see your graphic comparison side by side. Question:
• Is there a an indicator you would recommend to help gauge the how far the temporary dips might go for say a 14 trading period?
• Does price gap typically happens more so in penny stocks, as suppose to big cap S&P 500 or S&P100 stocks?
• If the company decides to issue a stock split 4:1, thus the price is lower, would my stop change on its own automatically or would I have to cancel that trailing stop loss before the split, and make a replacement order?
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It's very helpful & I'll be watching all of your videos. You're very clear & the demos help tremendously.
this was so much more helpful than the other videos and articles i've read about this. thank you! such a great visual teacher.
That was one of the best technically sound and easy to understand videos I've come across. Subscribed. Hope to see a video on Options some time from you as well. I'd do two thumbs up but..ya know..rules stuff.
Yes! Me too!
Thank you for the explanation! I could not understand this but now I do
Glad it helped!
The visuals really help too, thank you for this!
Great and simple explanation. Too many folks try to over complicate explanations. So thank you for keeping it simple!!
Amazing content and Cool background, waiting for more videos like this.
More to come!
Wow you are so good at explaining!! the graphs definitely help :D Subbed!
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you for skipping the bull and going straight to the point! Much appreciated! 🙌
Awesome, just what I tuned in for! Thank you and I'm off to look at some of your other content.
To the point and extremely informative. BTW, really like how you present recognizing that your audience may have a range of experiences - well done!
Thank you!
Arvabelle,... You are an excellent teacher. I'm relatively new to actively managing some of my investments, and am trying to learn how to best do so. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to help others in this endeavor. You've done a great job using visual aids, and explaining things in plain english. (I can't tell you enough, how much I appreciate you Not using jargon.) - Thanks again. 😁👍 *Liked, and Subscribed.
OMG, a real educator! Great explanation. No mumbo jumbo, just plain understandable English.
So easily explained! I spent too much time on other videos and still wasn't gutting it. Thank you
I should have watched this video last week!
me too
Always use these orders to protect your gains, and lock in your set prices. I don’t use these orders too often but if you day trade or move in and out of stocks quickly it’s a must.
With a trailing stop loss regular stop loss almost seem useless
One of the simplest and best explanations. Good visuals and examples!!!
So glad you simply explained this. So many videos I watched I just couldn't grasp what they were trying to say. Thanks, I subscribed
I never used a stop loss, but I should consider it when placing some trades
Most excellent explanation plus you do not have a plastic smile; most Americans feel they must always look happy, which is a most unnatural mode of living! You are a professor of stock market!
Wow 😮thank you so much for an awesome video. You are a wonderful instructor and I love the way you explain everything in details. From now on I am using trailing stops! Thank you again.
The way you are explaining things is just the easiest to understand. Top! Thanks!
Should have mentioned when your trailing stop loss is triggered it becomes a market order. Also more trailing stop % information was needed.
Don't watch it then.
Those gigantic monitors behind you, those are what got me here!!!!
Beautiful illustration, very well demonstrated. Thank you
Perfect explanation! After viewing so many other videos, this was the best one. Thank you !

If you're NOT a teacher or professor somewhere, it's a crime to the educational system. Thank you!
Haha thank you Chuck!
Did you ever see a rich professor or teacher? The stockmarket is a different animal and thinking just because you have ideas in your head, you know better. No you don't. Follow the professors and lose all your monies.
Chuck,
We are all teachers of our knowledge base. Thanks for this helpful video.
The educational system is a scam when everything they teach is available online for free.
So much better than everyone else's explanation, subscribed!
Definitely one ,if not "the" clearest explaining videos out there. As with all her others. Brilliant!
Thank you for an explicite insight on trailing stops. Now will gothrough your previous videos for further information. This is what i heard alot but not utilized. Keep blessed.
Exactly what I needed. I Watched this a while back but I'm more experienced now and understand better. Thanks!
