15 years ago I also had such a thing for several weeks. During a game of handball I got a ball on top of my finger. I always got stock with the fixateur while putting on clothes - that was annoying. That was in the winter - yeay, not beeing able to put on gloves was fun. It was such a good feeling when this thing was removed. Did you fully recover from your injury? In my case some minor issues are left, but I got used to it.
I still have a slight numbness in the thumb. I also have tightness in the joint which prevents full mobility. I do not feel limited by it but must be aware and more cautious when playing sports.
sorry i have a question. i had this surgery on my pointing finger 8 months ago and i still feel some pain and high sensibility in my finger and still cant bend It all the way down. Will i ever get back full recovery and won't feel pain anymore?
Hello. My thumb has gained back most of it's mobility and really only feels tight and slightly uncomfortable at full flex now. The pain did subside for me and sometimes if I hit it or something is really the only time that is in uncomfortable for me now. Wishing you all the best in your recovery.
I could move it a little. I had a molded plastic cover that I wore most of the time to prevent the frame from catching on anything. The rubber bands holding the joint open had to be replaced quite often.
Great video I'm waiting for that too it did not hurt ?
