- This is an inside look into my Lord of the Rings and Hobbit collection. This collection has over 383 pieces and growing. The pieces range from United Cutlery, Weta, Sideshow/Weta, Neca, Toybiz, Gentle Giant, Badali Jewelry, Department 56, and many custom pieces. This short film was made by Daniel Berman. Daniel did the video, sound, music, and editing. dkbphotography.com #LOTR #Hobbit #Collection #Museum #Weta #Sideshow #Collector
I just love how happy this guy is. Needs to invest in a good air duster though lol.. *blows on entire collection*
HAHA. I do need some air duster. Thanks for checking it out.
The smile on his face when he sees his collection, the heart of a collector. I read LOTR every year. Fantastic display.
how longs it take for u to read each book?
This guy has one collection to rule them all
It's really nice when someone takes such passionate pleasure in a hobby. He likes Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit so much that he creates a museum in his home for them and I like making knives and daggers entirely by hand and I love every single stroke with the file. Passion is something great, something that gives us that important distraction from our often sad reality. Thanks for this nice video!
Thanks for your kind comment!!
Best LOTR collection I have ever seen, I just started collecting and only have 3 pieces
Thanks for your comment and good luck with building your collection. It is a wonderful hobby and a great deal of fun seeking out the rarer pieces.
@@BenjaminSchenk where do you find your items?
@@jaredday3069 I buy most of my pieces from www.wetanz.com, Craigslist, Ebay, and Facebook marketplace.
you prolly dont care at all but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I stupidly lost the account password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Paxton Zayd Instablaster =)
What an absolute delight to be able to see this amazing collection! From one collector to another (although mu LOTR collection is almost exclusively made out of Toy biz action figures): congratulations thanks for sharing!👍💫
Thank you for checking out the collection and for your kind comment. I love the Toybiz LOTR line. That was the set that pushed me into LOTR collecting in the first place.
Such an impressive collection. I don’t collect the memorabilia, but I love Lord of the Rings. I love seeing fans show their passion for something.
Thanks for checking out the video and for your comment!
That is an impressive collection of movie memorabilia!
Thank you for checking it out.
This Video should be 3 hours long, my friend. Great job and it’s worth all your smiles.
"Life is better with a life-sized Gandalf" LOL true statement. Hope my collection grows to this size one day. I mainly just collect Toybiz action figures but looking into more statues in the future! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for checking it out and for your comment. I am a huge fan of the Toybiz line. I think it is the best action figure line every released. I still have 40 or so boxed figures and sets. I just don't have the room to display them. I wish you great success in building your collection.
Yeeeees.
That Would make my Ideal "Happy Place"!
About the "GROND" model, i see some customization here. Are those Beasts from Eaglemoss? What about the Trolls carrying it? Any chance to see some details? that's an amazing piece!
that's awesome, serously, I'm a huge fan of Lord of The Rings, keep collecting more a more figures my friend, A big hi from Quito Ecuador

Love the collection and layout- but must vote that shirt needs to go to Mount Doom!!
LOL. Thanks for the comment.
On the bright side- that beard has dwarf-potential...
Love the LOTR books and films. One of the greatest contributions to world literature in my opinion. SW collector myself, but take a bow to your amazing collection.
Thanks for the comment and I totally agree with you.
Ben, you collection is absolutely the BEST! I too have always felt a connection with the stories & have a few Weta pieces as well. Though nothing near what you have good sir!! I am blown away by your enthusiasm & love for LOTR, and your smile says it all! I believe you are correct when you say "Life is better with a life size Gandalf!"
Thank you!! I appreciate your kind comment.
A dream collection
This is INCREDIBLE!!! I've always wanted to collect for LOTR but I have a specific style...plus I live in an apartment and I can only do so much collecting with that space lol
This is astonishing, thank you very much for sharing
Thank you for your kind comment!!
Absolutely awesome Ben! I never thought I would see such a beautiful collection! It’s a lot of patience, passion and love! You present your collection with the greatest simplicity! It’s just the most comprehensive and diverse collection ever! Congratulations Ben! All my friendship from Paris 🇫🇷

Yay.
Bravo Ben! I would've liked a feature length version, with nods to some more iconic pieces, haha. There's always the sequel. ;)
Thanks Randy!! I am glad you liked it. We will see about that sequel. LOL
awesome!
Thank you!!
Hi hi! Great collection!
Thank You!!
Wonderful )
It’s amazing mellon!
Thank you!!
probably the greatest lotr collection on youtube. You're exactly right about the hook of collecting and it just... happening. I bought 1 sword few years later now I own close to 50 collectibles. Curious do you let public tour it since you call it a museum (rightfully so)? Great video man
Thank you for your comment. I do have visitors to the museum. I would love to show it to you if you ever make it to Cleveland, Ohio.
This is what heaven looks like :D
Yeees?
Hello Mr Schenk! My name is Jack NIGHTINGALE🐦 from Poland. I'm 54 years old, single. TOLKIEN is my favourite writer! I've been reading for 30 years😃. Amazing collection!! You're passionate about what can be seen and heard! How many years have you been collection these fantastic figures? I'm playing board games: War of the Ring & Battle Five Armies/ I painted every figures🎨/. Best wishes Benjamin
Hello Jack Nightingale! Thank you for your comment. I have been collecting seriously for around 6 years.
That's is an awesome collections man, and now I wish I could walk through your LOTR Museum LOL
Thank you!! You are welcome to examine it, if you ever make it to Cleveland, Ohio.
Wow...that is an outstanding amazing collection. Out of this world. Awesome
Thanks for checking it out and for your kind comment.
This is awesome ❤️❤️❤️ And to see how happy this collection makes you... This is what its all about 🤘 Now can we somehow visit this epic museum? ❤️😍🤘
Thank you!! If you ever make it to Cleveland, Ohio look me up.
Time of the Heros.
Wow you're collection is very stunning but the reason i comment is that you seem to be such a nice person, i just wanted to say that
greez from germany
Thank you for your kind comment from Germany! I appreciate it and wish you well.
I think that this level of collecting is due to Dragon-Sickness!!!
You are likely on to something here!! LOL
Don't care for the music, but happy to see how much joy your collection brings you. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for checking it out and for your comment.

wow my dream
*Games Workshop has entered the chat*
No but actually this guy needs to look up the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game by Games Workshop. He could have entire display cases with full armies from every faction in Middle Earth. If he can't paint well there's hundreds of people willing to do that for you.
Donyou have some double sculpture to give me ? 😂 Nah just kidding. Beautiful collection im dreaming about having that big collection
Thanks for your comment and good luck with growing your collection!!
My Dream
🙌😍🙌
Good going. Good guy
Thank you!!
Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
LOL Blowing on the statue out of the box...
Get a good air purifier that filters out dust and excess moisture from the room :) That way they will retain their quality. And make sure the light bulbs do not photo bleach the statues in the long run.
Also note look how happy this guy is lol I would be too bro hahah u put my collection to shammeee
Thanks for checking the video out and for your comment.
OMG! I like these so muchhh 😍 i'm so jealous of this ☻
Thanks for the comment. I am glad you enjoyed it.
I’m really jealous too lol.

In.
Man, your collection is just gorgeous, you have my respect. Is there any chance to buy a ticket to visit your museum?
Thank you, if you ever make it to Cleveland, Ohio come on over.
@@BenjaminSchenk If I ever manage to make it to USA, your sacred museum would be the first destination point! Namárië, mellon!
Would have preferred to see more of the pieces in individual shots than wide shots of the room so much .
I’ve been there myself! We’re actually eating lunch with him right now. It was so fun to go down there and I GOT TO SWING THE FLIPPIN SOWRD AND WEAR THE HELMET EEEE AND HE HAD TO DOG BIRTHDAY PARTY
i would be soo happy too if i were him
I wish I could complete the Burger King collection hahaha
What’s your favorite piece in your collection?
My favorite piece is Weta LIfesize Gandalf.
You sir bow to no one
Oh great, they make life size statues of them now. Getting to the point where if you want to be a serious collector you'll need a second job. Really nice collection, just never total up the receipts.
Thanks for checking it out and for your comment.
Hi there I want too know this map of the lonely mountain light up from what company or where I can git it ?
Hello. This is the map www.wetanz.com/shop/prop-replicas/thorins-map-prop-replica?ref=brand . It was custom framed with a battery operated light installed behind it. I would suspect any good picture framer could come up with a plan to illuminate it.
@@BenjaminSchenk thank you Benjamin
I the pain of when u have 333 peices u also have 333 box's to deal with unless of course you do the unthinkable.
The boxes are at an unmanageable stage at this time. I am working on finding space somewhere outside my home to store them now. If I ever move it will be quite the operation moving this collection somewhere new. Thanks for checking the video out.
@@BenjaminSchenk I don't know what to do with mine either. With these High end collectables the box is such a part of the item in many ways.
Amazing collection! It's my dream^^ I am also a huge fan of this saga, recently I made a video with all the deleted scenes not in the extended editions, you should take a look, I think it may interest you.
At the end of this video there is a rare photo that I look for everywhere, maybe you have it in your collection? It is a photo of Gil-Galad's death dedicaced by Mark Ferguson. (sorry for my terrible english) and thank you for sharing with us your amazing collection!
Thanks for your comment. I do not have many photos in my collection and do not have that one. I look forward to checking out your video and good luck with your collection.
I want to come visit soooo bad. Where is this?
I am located in Cleveland, Ohio.
Yeeah?
Boundary lane, in which country? Is the museum open to the public?
Hello. It is located in Cleveland, Ohio USA. It is a private collection but I have given many tours to interested fans.
@@BenjaminSchenk Thank you for replying. I am sooooooo jealous. You have great taste. they are my fav things ever, those movies. Had to sell my collection. I had none of the rare or premium ones like you though.
im still searching for red box arwen asfaloth toybiz
It is a tough one to find. I would recommend joining this group on Facebook, Lord of the Rings Action Figure Archive & Museum. I would ask on there. There was someone that had one for sale and he still might. Good Luck!!
Ben it’s Bruce. You bought shadow box from me. Let me know how you did national Craigslist search please.
Hello Bruce. This is the site that I used. www.searchtempest.com/
Any autographs in that collection? I would assume not since you didn't say there were.
I do have an autographed poster with about 15 signatures on it. It is not currently in the collection room.
We will meet one day
He has collected for six years and he got like a full museum + then some? Dude, does this guy poop money or something?
I have question:can you visit this or its a private? If its not giv me location i wana see this
It is a private collection located in Cleveland, Ohio. I do accept visitors to the collection though.
@@BenjaminSchenk thank you for answer but whats that country i am bad a geografy
@@nikolamilosevic1378 The United States of America.
@@BenjaminSchenk thank you
@@BenjaminSchenk i am maybe gona visit us this or next yeat so maybe we can make a room tour deal
Where is this Located? Is it available to the public? tours? about party business or not? lol
It is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
You ever use IKEA Detolfs?
There's like $2 million in that room
I think many nerds dream is to be a millionaire so you can afford a big house with a lot of spear rooms to turn into a beautiful personal collector museum.
..that's the sad thing about collecting, ...it takes up alot of room. 😭
Collecting for a nerd is like drugs for an addict. XD
This is true. It is easy to run out of space. The empty boxes are what will get you. They require an insane amount of room.
are this sideshow?
The pieces range from Sideshow, United Cutlery, Weta, Sideshow/Weta, Neca, Toybiz, Gentle Giant, Badali Jewelry, Department 56, and many custom pieces
@@BenjaminSchenk thanks
The amount of jealousy I'm feeling is unnatural for a human
I agree so much, I’m so jealous bro.
We want yo see the figures. Not the Guy while speak or the room
