I love that Mandy is realistic where other UA-camrs they can review the same products and seem to have no problem what so ever and I think gosh I must be doing something wrong. I love Mandy's honesty.
Oh that blue! I know you said you didn’t care for that look, but I really admire that you were able to make as complete a look as you did, just within that quad. Well done!
The blue and the brick red looked great together! But there really was nothing in the palette to blend the blue into the skin color in the inner corner...
Great green eyeshadow look this is the one palette I still don't have. I always use the cream & sugar with the Carnival Candy palette. The lightest shade as the transition shade the light brown in the crease and the rust to deepen up the outer corner. The darker gold looks great on the lid and the light shimmer on the inner corner. That blue shimmer I use on the outer lid and under the eye on top of the rust for a smokey look. I agree paring two of the palettes together makes a much easier time to creating a look.
I feel like you were totally on the right track with the Carnival Candy blue on the lid, a little more blending on the inner corner with that light color and it would have been perfect!! You can totally rock it girl!! ❤️ The greens are PERFECT on you!!!
Amber Benson I was thinking that too.. I agree with you both.. I’m sure if she laid that burnt coppery Orange first in her crease and blended it upwards then put the blue.. Kind of like a halo look? I’m sure she would have got it looking really pretty if she had more time to play with it.. I’m glad she put it up and that she tried! I haven’t worn blue forever although it’s my fav color!
I think you need to work with that blue and use whatever colors make you feel more comfortable to blend it and make it’s yours. Cuz girl, that color is stunning on you!! You did a video not long ago where you had a shirt with jean jacket that would go perfectly with those carnival colors of that bite size. That blue though! Amazing color on you!!!!
I loved seeing your demonstration of the green palette! It looks awesome on you and honestly you can rock that look every day, at the baseball game, at the grocery store, at the PTA, everywhere. Lol!
I wish they connected together somehow to create your own palette. Thanks for all your hard work in showing us all the colors! Edited to say I use the pumpkin one mixed with whatever highlighter I’m using and it’s gorgeous
Blues are tough. I use dark blues as liner and only use lighter greyed blue on my main eyelid. But I still struggle with them and they've been my pandemic project. Many pats on the back. Your videos are great.
Love the green, it’s beautiful, thanks for taking one for the team using the blue it’s a very pretty color but very intimidating for me too. Love your reviews I get excited every time I see a new video pop up of yours.
I feel like the rose water quad is a perfect way to test out for those that are interested in palettes like Naked 3 but are not sure if that type of pinky- mauve- nude would look good on their complexion!
LOVE that you tried something different and took a risk. Blue eye shadows are hard to work with and I agree with you that having different shades of blue work best, at least that is what I have experienced with Blue Eye Shadows. I picked up the Berry Bad and have used it to create two looks, one by itself and one with using a shadow from my Colourpop palette. I also picked up the Pumpkin Pie, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet, because I have been doing other makeup looks for different Disney Inspired fashion looks. Hopefully I will be able to use it this weekend.
this was super useful. UA-camrs were all raving about these but I don't think they look that great and were inconsistent on different eyes. Appreciated seeing this on more mature eyes (mine as well). I do like that green look on you.
I just got these in the mail this morning and I'm shocked at how nice the shimmers are! I never find drugstore shimmers to be as punchy as something like Anastasia, but these are great. Totally agree that you need more than one palette to make it work but at $3 that's easy to do. Thanks for a great video!
You're the first person I've seen on yt with my eye shape and I'm so glad to finally see how to apply color in a way that would compliment me 😊 new subbie cause your review seemed honest and video quality is nice 👌
With the Carnival palette (with the blue shade), maybe do the rust color on the lid with the blue in the outer corner or even maybe a halo? If you do a deep shade like that on the lid, maybe mix the two browns and add some depth to the lower part of the crease (with the light matte brown above), then go in with the blue on the lid. It looks pretty though!
I bought all the elf bite size palettes, and I'm glad you tried most of them cause I wasn't sure how to blend them well. Even the blue makeup was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Love this video! I like that blue palette cause I think blue can be so flattering on dark eyes. One trick I do to avoid the muddy look is to actually start with the dark camel in the crease, then build the blue from the lash line up, instead of getting overwhelmed by a whole wash of blue right away. I think you did a good job with this look though!!
This was an excellent demo and review. I really appreciate how thorough you were. Wayne Goss suggested using bright colors - like that blue - in a really interesting way and it has changed my life! Put on black liner, then use a tiny smudger brush or angle liner brush and add that bright blue right on top of the liner. It looks so cool!!
I really enjoyed your video. You give an honest review of the cosmetics. You also have beautiful eyes. I also enjoyed that you reviewed the palettes and we didn’t have to hear “ makeup guru” drama!
I like your videos and recommendations. I love the fact that your primary focus is makeup on a budget. Truly though, sometimes your outages are my favorite part just because they’re hilarious.
Wowzers at that green eye look. I need that quad in my life!! The blue looked great on you btw! Especially if you used it alongside another palette or some singles. Great video!
Upon seeing you use and talking about the product Wow ❤ After 20 yrs of working in Aquatics I’m just now getting back into makeup I totally appreciate the updated technique help Today I’m using hot jalapeño What fun! I picked my outfit out just to match the eyeshadow 😂
I can't wait to pick mine up from my PO Box! I ordered 5 and it looks like I ordered all the good ones according to all of the reviews that I have seen. I can't wait to dig into the green palette! Thanks for the video! Always helpful!
I have several of these and really like them, but I agree with you on blendability and consistency. If you're looking for a really great quality but more "fun sized" collection with lots of options, I recommend the Violet Voss fun size palettes. At about $18 each, they are more expensive for a small amount of product, but holy smokes - pigment is outstanding while being very easy to blend and work with for any skill level, skin tone, etc. The shimmers are also great even if you have textured skin. 💖
I love how you laughed with yourself over the blue look. It is really hard to go from really neutral shadows to vivid ones. The blend is so important and takes a lot longer to perfect than neutrals, and if you don’t want to wear it and or don’t like the look it’s hard to find that needed patience. A for effort in trying💙
Mandy! Who CAN wear that blue??? Cudos for trying. I have never been a fan of a blue look unless it’s a liner. You did a beautiful job with all the palettes. amazing eyes to work with! Thx. 🤗
You're the reason I bought the Truffles palette and it is so pretty! I'm probably gonna pick up the rose water and cream and sugar ones. If I can find the jalopeno palette I'm absolutely getting that one but I can't find it yet. Also I love your earrings!💜
I just loooove that blue. I am one of those that bought that palette just for that blue. I think that blue with a deep brown faded transition would be gorgeous but I’m with you about keeping it on the lid. I don’t like blue up in my transition area our outer v. I think what you did looked great! I can’t wait to try it myself! I’m waiting on my Target order🤔. Maybe next week...I’m just grateful they shipped it with the stores being closed inside. I suppose it’s not as important as food and toiletries right now but playing with makeup keeps me sane😳.
For the carnival palette, itight be cute to do a more matte look with the lighter brown all over the lid. The darker reddish brown in the outer V, maybe bring in a a light gold into the inner corner and blended onto the inner part of the lid and then just use the blue on the lower lash line for a pop of blue. Complete the look with a blue eyeliner. You could also do a kind of reverse halo eye with the reddish brown on the inner and outer lid and put the blue in the center on the lid then use the light brown to blend everything out. 😘 love all your looks!
I'll certainly give you a pat on the back but I wouldn't have put that blue on the lid. I would have used the brown as a transition, the brick red to deepen and in the outer v. Then the light color on the inside of the lid and possibly the brow bone, then the blue as a liner. I only have 4 of those palettes. I don't have that one or the green one. I was kind of turned off by the lime green and gold in the green one. Green is my favorite color and I have loads of greens but now I'm kicking myself after seeing those two palettes on you. I have to go out and get them now. Especially the green one. I have a sea foam green that would look incredible with the two deeper greens.I'm so glad I watched this. Thanks, Mandy.
What a terrific video! You are one of the few who took the time to discuss these palettes and do looks for all. Thank you! BTW that jalapeño look is great on you. I have all of these, I could not resist with the affordability. I agree that the blue is gorgeous but I’m not even going to try. Pumpkin spice my favorite.
I get precisely what you mean with the brown. I personally like it to be warmer as well and have the feeling brownish yeshadows with a cool undertone to it dont suit me very well. Very nice review, I was excited to see all of the eyeshadow palettes performing! Your look with the green palette is sooo beautiful. You made it an every day look, what I didnt think was possible
If you struggle with these colors then I sure would too!! You’re always a joy to watch and learn from. I feel like I’ve watched almost all your videos now~ BIG fan!😊🎉
Hi Mandy❣️ With the Carnival Candy quad, I would have only used the blue as a liner, and the other colors for your eye look. All of your looks were still gorgeous ❣️ a Thank you for taking the time to do this for us❣️🥰💯
It was so awesome seeing you use color! I really loved how you were going with that blue. You were actually on the right track I think! It was looking really good and And I think if you count going with that camel color that you used in the crease to keep blending out the edges of the blue and kept deepening on the outer corners with that bro pretty brick red you would have had it. You were doing a really good job!
I love my rosewater and I just got the berry and pumkin pie today. I haven't tied them yet, but Im so excited. I wasnt going to get the green, but you changed my mind. All your looks were gorgeous.
You are a brave soul woman. I do not ever do blue. Not in my wheel house. Never will be. Lol. I just ordered the pumpkin one and the rose one. I already own the cream and sugar one. I love that one. So pretty. Darn you woman!!!! Now I want to get the berry one too. Gosh!! You are amazing. So beautiful 😍 always. Enjoy the week!! Stay healthy 💪 out there too.
Thanks for doing this. I have seen these palettes in the store and thought there was too much shimmer and monotone but you made them work. That blue is lovely, but too dark so I would have used the blue as liner with a bronze eye. (I have blue eyes and often do this.). With your hazel eyes, the greens look great.
I love this video! I just wanted to share a few things I've discovered while playing with these bite size shaddows so that it may help you love them a bit more and get your moneys worth girl xx I've had great success using the blue on the lower lash line for a pop of colour paired with a blue liner underneath to give it opacity as its such a small space. I use the warmer colours on the top lid which are a lot easier to blend. Also, I totally agree with you in regards to the pumpkin quad, theyre all mid tones which I found tricky initially however after playing around with this one I've discovered that its perfect for a quick & easy halo eye on those days you just gotta slap it on and go! I pair the warm matte & shimmer for a warmer look and the cool matte & shimmer for a cooler look. I've even layered the warm & cool shades for a bit more dimension and it totally works. If you do decide to give it a go I'd love to know how you go with it xo
I really you appreciate you gave us a look with every palette. The blue is so nice I am sad the pallete does not have transition shade to mix . Thank you so much for the day and night look with the same palette. Learned that I can combine two colors in the same brush stroke. Loved the yellow green look with the jalapeño palette. ❤ A pad on your back for the looks created in this video.
After hemming and hawwing about it for months, I bought Rose Water today. I really like it! Nice cool toned option and I don't have a lot of pink shadows. Glad I picked it up. I might pick up Cream and Sugar, maybe but probably don't need it because I have many neutrals already. I like the looks of Pumpkin Pie too but that might be too warm for me. But, yeah these are nice quads! ETA, I did pick up Cream and Sugar, yeah like these a lot. Pumpkin Pie might be next for me, warm or not.
Thank you for this video. I was wondering about the elf palette and whether they were picking up. You've convinced me that they are. In addition, you convinced me about the Hot Jalapeno which had not been considering because it is green. But I liked the effect you've achieved with it and the price is right.
I wear blue all. the. time! I like to keep the tones all in the blue family, and a pale shimmery blue in the inner corner makes it all come together. ColLab (available st Sally’s) has a FABULOUS palette with a super deep navy that’s awesome, plus 7 others in the blue family. For this look today, you needed a cool toned deep brown. The red shade ... Elf, what were you thinking?? That green palette ... I’m LIVING for it! I have a gorgeous Magnifeyes palette from Rimmel that’s all greens that I wear frequently, and this elf palette reminds me of the Rimmel one. Good in ya for trying, Mandy. You do the hard work so we don’t have to!! ❣️♥️❣️
That intense blue from the Carnival palette is so me and the whole reason I bought any of these at all lol.... Vivid colors work well for my coloring and glasses. I got Carnival, Pumpkin, Truffle, Jalapeño and Açaí. The other ones I didn’t get looked too neutral and soft to me for me.
New subbie here🙂 I really enjoyed how you express your thoughts regarding these shadows. As for the palette with the blue, I would have used the blue as a smudged liner on your upper lid or as a “peek-a-boo” pop of color on the outer corner.
This video is great! *if* you ever attempt that blue shade again, maybe take that rusty brick red and add it to the inner corner to create a halo eye, then lightly use that red to blend the blue in the crease. I kinda want to buy that quad to try it!
I'm really proud of you for using that blue! I have the rose and cream and sugar palettes and love them! I definitely want the berry bad and pumpkin palettes. I'm considering the others, too. Thank you for making such great videos! I love the looks that you create. 👍🌹💕🌸🌹🌺😻
So excited for this video!! I have the cream and sugar. Maybe I’ll try the Rose next. Your videos are so in depth and informative!! Keep up the awesome work. I love when you post. ❤️❤️
I feel you on the blue. I have to soften blues or any really dark shade with a duo chrome over it. I find that if I go too dark on my lids, it makes my lids look too heavy. The green look is so pretty. That is so my jam. And for $3, omg. That is less than a trip to Starbucks.
♥️⭐️ Love the looks you created with all these ELF palettes! The Carnival Candy palette I was drawn to immediately except I planned the pop of blue on my lower lash line while using the three warm coordinating shades as a look on my eyelids. I got all of these palettes except for the AÇAÍ palette because I wasn’t drawn to that bluish cool shade of purple. I love wearing pops of color on my brown eyes. I should pick it up honestly for $3 and try it on my eyes.....I may end up loving it. 🤷🏼♀️ ⭐️♥️
thank you for using the hot jalapeño palette! I've been wanting to see that in action!! I think the carnival candy might've worked better for you if you built the look with the warm shades and tapped some blue on the inner half of the lid, or used it on the lower lash line. Blue shadows are so hard to know what to do with!!
Thanks Alisha!! I agree- I probably should have experimented a little with that shade before turning the camera on!😆❤️️ I'm sure there is a way to make it work- it is a nice shadow!
I appreciate you saying you’re “not an expert,” but 99.9% of us watching aren’t either! I love seeing someone struggle like I would! Great video!
Thanks Brie!❤️️😊
I love that Mandy is realistic where other UA-camrs they can review the same products and seem to have no problem what so ever and I think gosh I must be doing something wrong. I love Mandy's honesty.
Adventures With Carissa yessss exactly!
Oh that blue! I know you said you didn’t care for that look, but I really admire that you were able to make as complete a look as you did, just within that quad. Well done!
Thanks Mary!❤️️😊
The blue and the brick red looked great together! But there really was nothing in the palette to blend the blue into the skin color in the inner corner...
Here’s a pat on the back for trying that blue all over the lid!❤️
Thanks Shanrell!❤️️😊
MandyLea seriously... I’m like oh... blue 🤔 hmmm under lash color possible liner. Not a big color gal...
I feel like you were totally on the right track with the Carnival Candy blue on the lid, a little more blending on the inner corner with that light color and it would have been perfect!! You can totally rock it girl!! ❤️
The greens are PERFECT on you!!!
One Wicked Muse i agree. i would have put down the orange and brought it into the inner corner and then done the blue. just a little more seamless.
@@tracie3 yes!! Totally what I was trying to say. She was definitely on the right track!
Thank you!!❤️️ I agree- this blue flustered me and I probably gave up a little too quickly!😄
That blue would be a great lower lash line color to add color Love the way you did this video ❤️
Thanks Angela!❤️️😊
That’s exactly what I would use that blue for. Lol great for summer.
same 👌
I LOVE THE GREEN EYE LOOK!!!!!
Thank you!❤️️😊
Green with envy😅
I’m so glad that greens are coming out more. There is an over abundance of blue but greens are pretty infrequent.
Me too!
I loved seeing your demonstration of the green palette! It looks awesome on you and honestly you can rock that look every day, at the baseball game, at the grocery store, at the PTA, everywhere. Lol!
😄Thanks Januari!❤️️ Here I come, PTA!😄
I wish they connected together somehow to create your own palette. Thanks for all your hard work in showing us all the colors! Edited to say I use the pumpkin one mixed with whatever highlighter I’m using and it’s gorgeous
Thanks Teresa!❤️️ That's a great suggestion!
I cannot stop staring at your final green look. It’s so beautiful!
Thanks Meghann!❤️️😊
That green look omg it is gorgeous on you!!
Thanks Caitlin!❤️️😊
Blues are tough. I use dark blues as liner and only use lighter greyed blue on my main eyelid. But I still struggle with them and they've been my pandemic project. Many pats on the back. Your videos are great.
Love the green, it’s beautiful, thanks for taking one for the team using the blue it’s a very pretty color but very intimidating for me too. Love your reviews I get excited every time I see a new video pop up of yours.
Thanks Judy!❤️️
Omg, that Hot Jalepeno Palette look was stunning on you! I hope you consider doing that look again and wearing it out. 😊
Thanks Mimi!! I sure will!❤️️😊
I feel like the rose water quad is a perfect way to test out for those that are interested in palettes like Naked 3 but are not sure if that type of pinky- mauve- nude would look good on their complexion!
I have Cream and Sugar and Rose Water. I completely agree with your thoughts on both.
Thanks Katie!❤️️

I was coming here to say this too!
Vicki Noble great idea, Vicki. Maybe with the blue just on lower lash line, very ‘80s/90s.
Thanks Vicki!!❤️️ Great suggestion!
I choke with dark blue also. I love your authenticity.
Thanks Becky!!❤️😄
I bought all the elf bite size palettes, and I'm glad you tried most of them cause I wasn't sure how to blend them well. Even the blue makeup was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for giving all the colors a try. It really helps me to see the difficulty in choosing what to combine for a full look.
I really do like the blue look and with a bit more blending totally think you could rock it. Beautiful... thank you for doing this...
Thank you for showing us the blue, do you know how many times I tried a eye look only to wash it off ,, it’s real life
Thanks Maria!❤️️❤️️😄
These are very convenient for travel, and I like cream and sugar, berry bad, and pumpkin pie..
There so tiny and cute! I just ordered almost all of them! I love how small they are! ❤️ Your eyeshadow looks amazing
Thanks for sharing, love all the eye looks!👁👍🏼😉

I have been using rosewater every day this week. It stays all day. That jalapeno looked good, I didn't think it would. Very informative video.
Wowzers at that green eye look. I need that quad in my life!! The blue looked great on you btw! Especially if you used it alongside another palette or some singles. Great video!
Upon seeing you use and talking about the product
Wow ❤
After 20 yrs of working in Aquatics I’m just now getting back into makeup
I totally appreciate the updated technique help
Today I’m using hot jalapeño
What fun!
I picked my outfit out just to match the eyeshadow 😂
With the Carnival Candy palette I would do a matte eye and put the blue on the lower lash line. I love a good pop of blue on the lower lash line.

Best eye shadow video dear ❤️
Nice explanation 👍
Looking beautiful ❤️
I just loooove that blue. I am one of those that bought that palette just for that blue. Lime green shades may not be some of your go to shades, but they SHOULD be! You look stunning. Thanks for trying all of these out!
The eye makeup you are already wearing in the beginning is beautiful 😍
One eye Mandy, one eye. I laughed out loud! Fun video!
😄 Thanks Marion!❤️️

Wow green/yellow eyeshadow looks so good on you!
Thanks Kalani!❤️️
I love the rosewater one and that yellow color is very nice 💛 😍
Kudos on trying the blue look! 💙 I loved the green look 💚 & the berry one too! 💖 Great video as always! 🙂
Thanks Dorothy!❤️️😄
Am I the only one who thinks you looked absolutely gorgeous with that blue eyeshadow? 😍 Blue looks gorgeous on you and you made me realize I need it ❤
I have about 4 or 5 of these so it's super helpful that you went through each one making a look.
Hi Mandy❣️ With the Carnival Candy quad, I would have only used the blue as a liner, and the other colors for your eye look. All of your looks were still gorgeous ❣️ a Thank you for taking the time to do this for us❣️🥰💯
This is awesome, thanks for posting! When my elf order gets here, I will have all the same ones you do. I want that blue one haha.
Thanks Kalena!❤️️😊

Love your channel. Thanks so much for doing this video. My hubby loved the green quad on me too. Blessings from Perth, Western Australia
I think the jalapeno pallete would be so pretty for Christmas looks 😍
Thanks girl! Tried your tutorial for the Rosewater palette and thought it looked fab! Now to try the other ones 😊
Thank you for doing this video even if it was not your favorite to do. Hope your eyelids are not too sore. You do look lovely with the green palette.
LOVED the green/gold look the most too!!! Sooooo pretty!
🙌🙌On the back for using the blue shade which would terrify me. That said, I really do like the Berry Bad & Cream & Sugar. Great looks.
Love this! I bought two of these but had no idea how to use them, so this is super helpful. Thank you.
This was so helpful girl! I am wanting to pick up a few now. That blue would be a good "eye liner" color I recon? 👍💗
I'm wearing the Hot Jalapeño. I like it, it's fun! I never know which color to lay down first, so thank you.
I’m loving dark green shadows. I get so many compliments when I wear green shades. Think I need the Jalapeno palette now 😍Thanks for this video!
Kinda sad you couldn’t find the blue one, but the green one looks so fun! I already ordered them all anyway, haha.
That video really helped to decide wich palettes to buy! Thanks a lot 😊
❣️♥️❣️
Thank you so much!!😊 I totally agree!❤️️
Love this ♥️ it’s so nice to see all the looks with these little palettes!! And oh my lord that green 😍 💚
Thanks Kimberly!!💚💚💚
Also, you did a great job with trying all those shadows! I don’t think I could pull that blue off at all, but I like what you did!
Really love green and blue eyelook !!!
Was so excited about this video❤️You make every look so easy!
Thanks Erin!❤️️
I only have 2 of these. The Jalapeño one and the Berry one. I only used the Berry one once but I did really like the Jalapeño one! Love your looks.
Good job! Yeah I agree .... Maybe just use that blue as a liner. But you did good! I think that look would be awesome for a party night out.
Thanks Kiki!❤️️
Thank you!❤️️😊
Looks were amazing!! Favorite was definitely the green😃 I am also afraid of blue shadow so atta girl for being daring for us🥰
So excited for this video!! I have the cream and sugar. Maybe I’ll try the Rose next. Your videos are so in depth and informative!! Keep up the awesome work. I love when you post. ❤️❤️
Thanks Kristin!❤️️
I feel you on the blue. I have to soften blues or any really dark shade with a duo chrome over it. I find that if I go too dark on my lids, it makes my lids look too heavy. The green look is so pretty. That is so my jam. And for $3, omg. That is less than a trip to Starbucks.
Thanks Becky!❤️️😊 A duo Chrome would have been PERFECTION in this one!
Hi Mandy!!!
Just beautiful!!!
Gorgeous eye looks!
Very inspiring💖💖💖💖
You look beautiful❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Esti!❤️️😊
