I have Dyscalculia and have struggled with these my entire life. This is the first time they've ever been explained to me in a way that I can understand. THANK YOU!
For the arrow question, the entire square was symmetrical when reflected about a diagonal axis from bot left to top right AND from top left to bot right. Like a mirror
the RIGHT ANSWER IS in the first line the arrow turn 90 degre anti clockwise , in the second line the arrow turn 180 degree ant-clock wise , in the third line the arrow turn 270 degree ant-clock wise . MERCI im french sorry for my typo@@nth1ia3417
@@boredinczechia4382 That question with do re me did not require knowledge, there is also a pattern. DO, MI ,SO, from that you can see two O's so to make it the same 4th needed to end in I
These IQ test mimic the mathematical sequences and patterns of the universe . The goal is to find the sequences in the correct order. Hince if you can do that you may be able to uncover the secrets of the universe therefore have a high IQ.
At 8:37 the answer is (C.). The pattern keeps the objects in the upper left and lower right of the (?) box the same. The pattern keeps the objects in the lower left and upper right of the (?) box the same as the objects in the same position in the box diagonally opposed to the (?) box.
For the second question, the one involving the arrows, why do we assume that the sequence will have to be established by the right column? What serves as a catalyst for this? Given that the rotation is 90 degrees, either clockwise or counter clockwise would technically fit. The only reason I chose the right answer is that it creates a sense of symmetry in light of the entire patter.
yeah I fully agree, there is no cause for his direction choice in the second question, I actually thought the answer was D. Since if we can't see what the middle box is, but we know that the arrow will be rotating either clockwise or counter clockwise. Then we can logically assume the final position will be the inverse of the starting position, just like all of the other rows. I think he got question 2 big wrong

The answer to the last question is D. Although all the other answers have a valid points to be the answer, D is the most complex to choose out of the other options. The black on the shapes can be configured as a dark shadow. The shadow tries to hold itself up going top right but isn’t strong enough so it falls towards the left side. It then falls completely off, resting towards the bottom only. The shadow starts regaining strength again thou allowing it to stand back up right.
I would definatly assume that the answear for the last one would be D because I don't see the colors mirroring, I just see the black colors moving with patterns. If you take a look at the figures at the top left corner, you see that there are 2 black colors, both in top right and top left, if you take a look at the shapes and colors towards the top right, it seems like the black color at the top left moved 1 down and the block color on the top right moved 1 left. And also if you look at the figures below the ones at the top left it seems like the same thing happend therefore the colors are moving counter clock wise, if the shapes and colors from the top right make a down(or below) the same thing will happen, which means that if the shapes total shapes make move towards the right or below, the black colors will move counter cloackwise. If black colors move counter clockwise when making a right or down then that means that the figures at the top right, the black colors will move, square to triangle and from heart to square, and also that if the shapes on the bottom left, make a right, then the black color of the aquire will move to the triangle and that the black in the heart will move town towards the square. Conclusion the black colors move counter clockwise whenever the the sets of shapes make a right or a down therfore the black colors from the heart abd the square will move all the way to the triangle and the square .

2:41 opposing arrows show in the same direction. (top left - bottom right, or top mid - bottom mid,...) as mid left is pointing down, mid right must also point down. easy!
Last question is C My reasoning is, the black heart remains unchanged in all boxes as well as the blue triangle , the orange diamond changes from black to orange and vice versa( if you’re looking at columns and rows) as well as the triangle , So last box blue triangle and black heart( unchanged) so it narrows it easily to C since it’s the only one with a blank heart
Second Question: I chose (A) quickly because the square has 4 corners and each corner has 2 arrows pointing to it except 1 direction, has only one direction arrow pointing at it and this is where the missing arrow (A), which complete the pattern. Last Question: The answer is (C). It completes the pattern. Thanks for the video.
Your way is indeed a pattern. It's actually a more logical way to show a pattern than his reasoning. "A" is correct, but he has an error in the video explanation. I posted what I believe to be the correct answer. Would you check it out to see if it makes sense?
2nd question can be interpreted in numerous ways, which is why people claim either A or D. In my opinion, it makes it seem like this specific IQ test measures your knowledge about it rather than actually abbility of seeing a pattern. A very likely and logical patterns would also include noticing that the arrows move in a clokcwise direction on the top and bottom rows, which would help you notice that the answer for the 2nd row would be D.
Ну что не отнять у наших, так это чувство юмора! Вадим вы не только умный человек, но и великий приколист. 👍 Получила огромное удовольствие от теста, но со стрелками так и не разобралась. Наверное IQ еще не дозрело 😃
His explanation of the arrows are wrong though the answer is correct. It has nothing to do with rotation but opposite alignment across the middle block. 😊
For the 2nd question, I thought that the answer was D. My reasoning was that, in the top three squares, the arrows rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise per square going left to right. In the bottom three squares, the arrows rotate 90 degrees clockwise per square going left to right. In the middle, you don’t know which direction the arrows would be rotating because you don’t get to see the center arrow, but 180 degrees of rotation in either direction would get you answer D anyway. However, your explanation of A makes sense, and I can’t see why that couldnn’t also be correct.
For the second question, I had a slightly different Way of solving it: First of all, the upper pattern was: down, up, up, and the bottom: up, up, down. The only way to create diversity in the middle would be to make each arrow sit next to a different “up/down” piece. The first arrow was facing downwards, I assumed the 🚫 was an upward facing arrow, and I knew which downward arrow it was for the mid-third panel, since all the other downward facing arrows were facing bottom-left as well.
opposing arrows show in the same direction. DONE!!! (top left - bottom right, or top mid - bottom mid,...) as mid left is pointing down, mid right must also point down. easy!
I did that as well. That makes this IQ question invalid because people are logically solving it different ways and it does make sense the way we did it. It actually made me mad when I saw that I was wrong and then I had to look at the comments to see if other people get it as well. In my book, we are correct.
For the 4th question the answer is also C. This is based on the fact that the shapes move from corner to the middle counterclockwise and the square is always on top of the Triangle. So I tought that the square was covering the whole triangle.
omg I admire you sooo much I just dont have the same brain as you....I can instantly know what a person is feeling but I cannot ever understand what you see so easily My answer is Z

I couldn't solve the DO, RE, MI puzzle because the musical sequence I've heard is Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Da Ni Sa. It was really something unexpected. I hope more such videos from you.
@Vlasko60 people with high IQs are people who tend to think out of normal human way. That still limits their intelligence as the amount of information stored in your brain matters a lot. Einstein wouldn't have discovered anything if he didn't chose to study science. Also he took an interest in the subject and decided to think out of normal human way to give us the theory of relativity.
Yeah the problem I had immediately from that one was that you have to have some level of pop culture knowledge to know of the do re mi in stead of another one.
@Vlasko60 I think he solved it the wrong way. Maybe it was supposed to be solved using symmetry, where the odd terms (SO, DO) were horizontally symmetric and the even terms were vertically symmetric (MI, x). Only one answer choice followed the pattern (TI), so I thought that was the pattern the question was looking for.

@@OnlineTrainingforEveryone If someone is testing IQ there should be only 1 answer. Welcome sir, to bs academia! I certainly got confused when i concluded 2 legit answers and thought well I'll say D. WRONG! What a buffon I am.....
the RIGHT ANSWER IS in the first line the arrow turn 90 degre anti clockwise , in the second line the arrow turn 180 degree ant-clock wise , in the third line the arrow turn 270 degree ant-clock wise . MERCI im french sorry for my typo
(There's an error in the Arrow Puzzle) The Correct way to explain the solution to the 2nd puzzle is that "A" is the correct answer because it completes the pattern of Arrows rotating Counter Clockwise within each Box that travels in a Clockwise Pattern around the center Block. - This was super tricky!!! First of all, because the reason for the center Box being blocked out appeared to be so ambiguous. Secondly, because it was super hard to imagine the arrows within each block rotating counter clockwise while at the same time imagining those boxes creating a clockwise pattern
Thank you! Base on the explanation he gave it could have been pointing downward left or up right since both complete the cycle on the right column. However, your explanation makes it exclusively for the downward left (A) to be the correct answer.
D works too with even simpler logic behind it. The clockwise and counter-clockwise direction is irrelevent to us as we know it spins 90 degrees each time.
@@popdop0074 I'll have to revisit it to understand what you mean for sure, but, it sounds plausible just by reading your answer. (Updated after watching the video again & checking your logic on the 2nd puzzle in the video with the arrows). If the goal is to find a "unique pattern", then there can only be one answer which is A (as far as I can tell).
Interesting. It's based on western knowledge vs intellect and memory. It doesn't mean because you didn't pass you don't have the intellect. I do biomathematical modelling and I struggle with these test lol. What often these tests indicate is that you may not be using your brain in a manner that depicts this line of thinking. Your job, your everyday tasks and engagement will influence these results. What this tells me is I need to exercise my brain in a different way more often to increase plasticity.
The hardest part about an IQ test is to figure out how the test creator thinks - if the tests were of higher quality, they would explain the rules more rigorously - but it seems the IQ test creators often don't have very high IQs themselves... ;)

Last question = C. If we were to label the original boxes as 1, 2, 3, 4 (so top left = 1, top right = 2, bottom left = 3, bottom right = 4), you’ll see that boxes 2 & 3 are exact duplicates, so it makes sense that the other boxes diagonal from each other (1 & 4) would also be duplicates.
C on the last question because the hearts remain black in the 3 examples while only choice C has a black heart 🖤 that remains consistent to the 3 examples and because there is 2 black diamonds and 3 black hearts and 1 black star showing so in order to make it consistent you would need 4 black hearts 2 black stars and 2 black diamonds 🖤 and the black only appears on the top or on the left so C is the only answer in my eyes 👀

Q2 the RIGHT ANSWER IS D: in the first line the arrow turn 90 degre anti clockwise , in the second line the arrow turn 180 degree ant-clock wise , in the third line the arrow turn 270 degree ant-clock wise . MERCI im french sorry for my typo
C seems to be correct for the last question, however, I played the devil's advocate on letting the heart change to purple. I thought since there were three answers to the question with purple, which of the three purple heart answers would fit best. We decided on A because it sets a 3 - 1 dark to lighter color(in this case black to purple, and the triangles being light blue to black 3-1). so A is more eccentric of a pattern, and could be considered correct, if we consider blue and purple to be shades on a spectrum, and not 2 distinct separate entities. i.e. Blue vs. Purple. Probably wrong but this was still fun to look at!
a more simple way to answer question number two: look at the square and arrow facing the arrow you are looking at, they would be symmetrical, if they aren’t symmetrical, it isn’t the answer. like this: 1 2 3 4 . ? 789 the “?” would be 4, because facing it is a 4. they should be symmetrical.

i think that might be why i could solve these pretty easily and quickly. i never learned anything in the conventional way. i found it hard to believe ppl actually had to explain how these are solved. i am not smart. and i def do not have a degree yet.. idk if i will ever have one considering im failing.
I took an IQ test in school in 1988, scored 156. I took one online last night and scored 95 Lol!! Looks like life has NOT been kind in my advanced years. Hahahah! Or perhaps the Free, online tests are B.S.! I think I will go with Richard Feynman on this one. "IQ tests mean absolutely nothing."
On question 2 I am a bit confused. What tells you that the column has to be counter clockwise? It takes from two rows once which is clockwise and one which is counterclockwise. The explanation only tells you that it can only be A or D. The only way to finish the answer to decipher between the two would be that the shape the arrows form mirrors itself.
I actually got it right using a different strategy. I drew a line from the top left to the bottom right and made the upper side symmetric to the bottom side. To people thinking this is luck, it is still pattern recognition which is what the question is based upon.
@@bowsauce6605 I think I did the same thing. If you look at the pattern from a northwest angle, the pattern presented becomes very clear. every box is an exact reflection of its opposite, matching side.
I agree with you. Arrows are to be shown mirroring themselves or trailing one another. The missing part only makes sense if its mirroring the other arrow.

The answer for the second question is D because the first horizontal row is anticlockwise and the last row is clockwise. That leaves the middle row as either clockwise or anticlockwise and the answer will still be D.
For all People wanting to know the correct explanation for the 2nd question, this is for them The correct explanation is that every box has the same arrow for its opposite box An example: we see that bottom left corners's arrow is the same as the upper right corner, which makes the 2 boxes opposite to eachother as they are diagonal Same principle goes for all other boxes Hope this helps! 🙂
I got d because I imagined drawing a line of symmetry down the middle of the big box vertically and everything on each side of the line reverses orientation. I honestly think these kinds of multiple choice questions are ridiculous because you can retrofit almost any pattern you want and who is to say which one is "right"

I don't understand why the answer to the second one is not D. Regardless whether the arrows turns clockwise or counter clockwise the arrow ends up 180 degrees out of phase from the first square to the third square. And if the columns are part of the sequence then the middle column doesn't match the sequence the same sequence as the top and bottom row. If A is the answer, the only way i can see how that works is the both the middle column and middle row would start in one direction, rotate either clockwise or counter clockwise in the middle, then return to the same direction by the third square or not move at all in the middle. I chose C for the last because the bottom left and top right square matched so I figured the top left, and bottom right square should match.
You’re right that rotating the arrow clockwise/anti-clockwise does not result in the answer A. The correct answer is A, however I think the solution provided in this video is wrong. I believe the correct solution is that it’s an inverted pattern. So imagine a mirror placed diagonally across the grid, from the top-left corner stretching down to bottom-right. The arrows are inverted, like a mirror effect. This explains why the centre box is cancelled out, because it would break the inverted pattern as multiple arrows would overlap in the middle.

Why it's not D, assuming that top layer equals 1-3 and is constant to the reffering arrow patterns: A1 | A2 | A3 | A4 | ? | ? | A3 | A2 | A1 (Right "?" must be A4 to follow the pattern which correlates to, A.) (Middle block sign is A5 which correlates to, B.) Correct pattern: A1 | A2 | A3 | A4 | A5 | A4 | A3 | A2 | A1
I got them all right using the dumbest reasoning for the hard ones and not even catching on to the patterns you showed lol 1. Easy 2. It can't be B cause then you would have two of the same arrow next to each other which doesn't look right. It can't be C cause having only one vertical arrow doesn't look right either. Can't be D cause having 3 of the same arrow also doesn't look right. Has to be A so that you have two of each arrow 3. I've played words with friends so much I just knew by instinct I could make something using the letters R,D,N if I put some thought into it 4. Easy 5. Completely clueless when it comes to music, but it looks right to have two words that end in O and two words that end in I 6. Easy

هل فعلا C
Conclusion the black colors move counter clockwise whenever the the sets of shapes make a right or a down therfore the black colors from the heart abd the square will move all the way to the triangle and the square .
id say c because of pattern
You should also notice that the hearts colour was never changed so how change the whole pattern

That is right because if you can see the top right box’s vertical the bottom left box are the same so the vertical to the top left box is c
I think it's D
C is the correct one
Yeah easy
2:41
opposing arrows show in the same direction. (top left - bottom right, or top mid - bottom mid,...)
as mid left is pointing down, mid right must also point down.
easy!
Last question is C
My reasoning is, the black heart remains unchanged in all boxes as well as the blue triangle , the orange diamond changes from black to orange and vice versa( if you’re looking at columns and rows) as well as the triangle ,
So last box blue triangle and black heart( unchanged) so it narrows it easily to C since it’s the only one with a blank heart
I did same
I chose because weather adjacent block is matching
No, last question answer is D
2nd question can be interpreted in numerous ways, which is why people claim either A or D. In my opinion, it makes it seem like this specific IQ test measures your knowledge about it rather than actually abbility of seeing a pattern. A very likely and logical patterns would also include noticing that the arrows move in a clokcwise direction on the top and bottom rows, which would help you notice that the answer for the 2nd row would be D.
So my iq is 0 😅
Ну что не отнять у наших, так это чувство юмора!
I love the way that you want everybody to comment to video and the simplicity of the last question
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback! Please let me know if you have a better way of solving the last question. Thanks
I solved it like that too
opposing arrows show in the same direction. DONE!!!
(top left - bottom right, or top mid - bottom mid,...)
as mid left is pointing down, mid right must also point down.
easy!
I solved by how many there were. There were two of every arrow except for the A arrow
You're both wrong it rotates clockwise around the center

The last question is c because if you look from top right to bottom left you can see pattern, so then its must be the same the other way :)
I thought that he was incorrect because I thought that was letter D the correct answer but yeep is A you're right thanks!
@@popdop0074 I'll have to revisit it to understand what you mean for sure, but, it sounds plausible just by reading your answer.
The hardest part about an IQ test is to figure out how the test creator thinks - if the tests were of higher quality, they would explain the rules more rigorously - but it seems the IQ test creators often don't have very high IQs themselves... ;)

Answer is (c)

The second question represents a clock and in my opinion should be solved with a circle in mind, this is why there is no information in the middle. It is not about "rows" and "columns" but a circle.

i think that might be why i could solve these pretty easily and quickly. i never learned anything in the conventional way. i found it hard to believe ppl actually had to explain how these are solved. i am not smart. and i def do not have a degree yet.. idk if i will ever have one considering im failing.

For all People wanting to know the correct explanation for the 2nd question, this is for them
The correct explanation is that every box has the same arrow for its opposite box
An example: we see that bottom left corners's arrow is the same as the upper right corner, which makes the 2 boxes opposite to eachother as they are diagonal
Same principle goes for all other boxes
Hope this helps! 🙂
Nope NoBody is Helped Cause It Was Easy
Counter clockwise is correct method and yours also a correct method,, 1 of them is pattern recognition the other is pairing.
I got d because I imagined drawing a line of symmetry down the middle of the big box vertically and everything on each side of the line reverses orientation. I honestly think these kinds of multiple choice questions are ridiculous because you can retrofit almost any pattern you want and who is to say which one is "right"
Omg yes it helped so much!

the best answer to the 5th question DO, Mi , SO, ..... is good
I don't understand why the answer to the second one is not D.

3:07 Answer is indeed A.
Why it's not D, assuming that top layer equals 1-3 and is constant to the reffering arrow patterns:
A1 | A2 | A3 | A4 | ? | ? | A3 | A2 | A1 (Right "?" must be A4 to follow the pattern which correlates to, A.) (Middle block sign is A5 which correlates to, B.)
Correct pattern:
A1 | A2 | A3 | A4 | A5 | A4 | A3 | A2 | A1
For the last one its C (the heart never changes color, the diamond changes color, the star changes color, and the triangle never changes color.)
I got them all right using the dumbest reasoning for the hard ones and not even catching on to the patterns you showed lol
1. Easy
2. It can't be B cause then you would have two of the same arrow next to each other which doesn't look right. It can't be C cause having only one vertical arrow doesn't look right either. Can't be D cause having 3 of the same arrow also doesn't look right. Has to be A so that you have two of each arrow
3. I've played words with friends so much I just knew by instinct I could make something using the letters R,D,N if I put some thought into it
4. Easy
5. Completely clueless when it comes to music, but it looks right to have two words that end in O and two words that end in I
6. Easy
