Yes can be done but this is not that sweet because its mixed with passion fruit juice.

I tried the recipe but actually it turned out to become a little hard... The amount of gelatine mentioned in the recipe is too much maybe... The next time I try the recipe I'm going to reduce the amount of gelatine and add some sugar to the pudding as well... Cause depending on how sour the passion fruit you have to add sugar if not its going to taste a little sour like mine.. The sweetness of the milkmaid alone isn't enough to make it sweet

We did this many times and came out perfectly the same. Its not the gelatine maybe you didn’t add enough water.
Yes sweetness can be adjusted according to your preference as it is a tropical dessert i made it a little tangy
