    It goes down to -15 in the winter but it can go up to 105 in the summer 😂😂😂

    Born and raised in Detroit. These people are clueless. Never heard of "pannukakku". And we don't put cheese on our coneys. Missing Better Made chips, paczkis, Mackinac Island fudge, Vernor's, an assortment of craft beers and the pasties needed gravy.

    • @kylacolombe8021
      @kylacolombe8021 9 років тому +20

      pannukakku is basically a Finnish pancake. I live in the UP yass I'm a yooper so people in the UP usually have eaten or heard of it

    I'm from Michigan, the Detroit area, and you totally forgot Better Made BBQ chips, Vernor's, and some local craft beers. Those chili dogs were suspect....we don't put cheese on them and that chili was way too chunky. LOL!

    • @AtomicSunday
      @AtomicSunday 9 років тому +12

      It's a coney dog, not a chili dog. Coney dogs are served with chili sauce, cheese (shredded or sauce), mustard and onions.

    • @jrmwigga5555
      @jrmwigga5555 9 років тому

      I believe that was supposed the be mustard lol.

      Those weren't chili dogs, they were coneys. Everyone puts cheese on coneys, because they're coneys. Coney?

    • @redbeardedt3437
      @redbeardedt3437 9 років тому +4

      RedBearded T Also coneys are made with coney sauce, not chili. (Beef, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onions and spices.

    You need a redo on the coney dog. Those are just Chili Dogs, those folks did not taste a true Coney. Beanless chili, mustard and onion on a natural casing hot dog that snaps. That is how you make a true coney.

    Michigan is a tundra??? Really are you serious? No. I was born and raised in Michigan and not only does it have all four seasons but they are some of the most beautiful seasons I've seen anywhere else, thank you. Trust me, if you want tundra, go to North Dakota.

    Pasties, were brought over to Michigan by British miners ( Copper in MI) from Cornwall, but they were made popular by the numerous Finnish immigrants and to this day, if you visit the Kewanaw Peninsula in far northern Michigan, you will taste the Finnish version of this tasty meat pie., The hipsters who shun this wonderful creation? Are too Californicated to understand American goodness.

  • @hatorigirl1202

    I never had pannukakku until I went to a Finnish-American club in Florida. My dad said he hadn't either. We both lived in Michigan the majority of our lives. And we're Finnish. Must be more popular ip north or something. But yeah I made it for Christmas and it is really easy and delicious. More traditional to eat it with berries.

    We also have great middle eastern food from the Arab capital of the US: Dearborn. No fudge? No Vernors? No Bettermade? No IPA? No kogel hot dogs? No apples? Beets? Michigan strawberries? No Cherry Republic? We do not put chunky chilli with beef hearts on our hot dogs. The last one was a stranger to me. You all should be ashamed of this video. Ask Michiganders what you should be trying next time. Did you even do research?
