For the fourth annual show, that roster includes Billy Crystal, who is presenting a special award to Sid Caesar; Mary Tyler Moore, presenting an award to the "Cheers" cast; and Patrick Dempsey, who plays Dr. Derek Shepherd (a k a McDreamy) on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," which will receive the Future Classic Award for a promising new show. "Dallas," "Cheers," "Good Times" and "Batman" will be among the programs honored. Onstage will be Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer, Shelley Long and Rhea Perlman from "Cheers"; Adam West and Burt Ward from "Batman"; John Amos, Jimmie Walker and BernNadette Stanis from "Good Times"; and Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Charlene Tilton and Linda Gray from "Dallas."

I litterly got anxiety when the theme song to Dallas came on, because as a child, I knew if was still up to hear that music, I would be tired the next morning and wouldn't want to get up for school.
Anthony Coleman good times made me almost tear up i was born in 1990 but started watching in 2002 and this was in 2006!!!
Good thing Dallas aired on Friday nights....on CBS.

The theme from Dallas was so cool. I remember playing it in 7th grade band. Too bad I threw away the cassette tape recording.
I can't believe nobody in the Cheers group acknowledged Nicholas Colasanto who played Ernie Pantusso (Coach) and sadly passed away.
Just like the cast of Good Times ignored the creator of their series Mike Evans who tragically died later that year.

Sid Caesar being a comedic genius. 84 at the time and still as sharp as ever. That was one of the funniest acceptance speeches ive ever heard.

Love the tribute to Good Times with James Ingram and Deniece Williams singing the intro being the icing on the cake. Ah, Good Times, still one of the best! Back when black comedies had a huge impact on tv and overall pop culture. Good Times, The Jeffersons, The Cosby Show, Flip Wilson, Sanford and Son, What's Happening, Amen, 227, Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Martin, In Living Color, Living Single, Moesha, The Parkers etc. many more are classics. I wish black television could have that type of long lasting impact today. Last great black sitcoms were Girlfriends, The Bernie Mac Show and Everybody Hates Chris.
It was NOT 350 million people tuned in to see the Who Shot JR episode.

How disgusting that not one member of the original cast of Good Times thanked Mike Evans who died later that same year. He was one of the creators and writers of the series until it was cancelled. Every actor standing on that stage should be embarrassed in shame. None of them would be there if it wasn't for Mike. I haven't forgiven one of them in the 15 years of this original broadcast and that goes for today as well

White people loved Good Times too! Not just black people
Everybody watched Good Times, for being a show about a black family, it didn't matter what race you were in, we all loved the show.

@@alexandermacdougall7873you might as well watch MeTV and COZY TV (we have both where I live) because it’s a lot of the same shows, although TV does have Seinfeld, Golden Girls, Two and a Half Men and Everybody Lives Raymond as well

I know.did you notice on how she cut off the conversations about the black people in entertainment? And she didn't have to say that about Gary Coleman when she was talking to Charlene Tilton. I guess the reason why she said that is because Dallas and Diffrent Strokes premiered on tv in the same year
I wanted to enjoy this. It just ended up being sad and pathetic. When Shelly Long thrust her face around Kelcey Grammar so she could get on camera, it was so nauseatingly desperate. Yuck. I watched another 10 minutes but it didn't get better.
Great show. Not Diana's best performance, but still great.
