That truck is sweet, idk if you know but the clutch doesn't have to be in when turning the car off, anything to reduce the time the clutch held down, helps the parts last longer. I hope she treats you well tho ;)
Here is the list of problems that I have with my ‘92 S10 Tahoe 1. Smoke comes out of pipe when starting up, it is the valve seals 2. Faulty wiring 3. Both windows are off track 4. Power locks don’t work 5. Window strip has rotted out, letting moisture in making the steering wheel sticky 6. Climate control doesn’t light up when headlights are turned on 7. Squeaky shocks 8. Rattling wheel trims 9. Windshield wipers randomly move without using the switch 10. AC compressor bearing is worn out, I have no AC and I nearly suffocate driving it in the summer
Every first gen 4.3 with a standard trans was tbi. Ive had both tbi and cpi. Both have their issues but both are also very good compared to other engines. But i perfer tbi. Cpi and its spider injectors...

Starman94 you got some electrical issues there for sure. Not too bad tho
Exactly, when I mentioned about rattling wheel trims, it is actually the brake dust shields
@@starman9458 its runs and drives and the frame aint rotted (atleast i hope not) thats a pretty decent to do list there.
It’s been passed down from my family since the early 90’s
@@starman9458 even more reason to repair and keep it goin!
I was hopping to see a CPI under that hood not a TBI engine

Thanks for the info. I also had a 91 with the tbi. Now I have a 93 with the CPI Can’t wait to do a ls1 swap
I found out you sold your old one to saabkyle04
Nope. Sold my 93 blazer to my friend nate.
