At 7:11, there are a few tubs/containers without lids. If they are in good shape, I pick those up. At my GW bins, they are $1. I also look for bubble wrap and packaged tissue paper.
A thing that cracks me up about the bins: there's clearly some kind of rule that every single bin must have at least one dark green hanging file folder in it :)
Could you do a video on how you split your time? For example, sourcing, listing, videos, etc. Do you pick a day and focus on one thing? Do you set a calendar? Thanks!
I think I saw the item you missed and went back for at 5:59. It was camouflaged because there were other similar items in the same bin, so it’s easy to see how you missed it. I’m not saying what it was because I happened to see the 2nd video first.
OK...crossing my fingers, but I just found the life size Lillian Vernon Easter Bunny version of your leprechauns at a local thrift store. It's super close to Easter, but got him listed. We'll see how it goes!
The kitty you asked about at 3:17 is Katerina from Mister Rogers. I’ve had one listed for quite some time, probably for too much. Definitely a bread and butter. But look for the larger ones that talk. They are in demand, though still bread and butter.
I'm pretty sure I go to your bins as well. I never would have picked those plush up. Reselling is SO amazing!!!!! There is room for all of us and to learn from each other. Thank you for your videos!!!!
The closest bins for us is 2 hours away. Never have been. We attempted to once. Had our gloves. Packed a lunch. Arrived to see a line of about 100 people (when a great deal of our state was still under lockdown) and were told only 10 were allowed in at a time. So, we turned around and drove back home. Not sure we'd ever be interested in trying again. Grateful for yard sale season and two small local to us community run thrift stores where most items are 50cents to $1. Fascinating to watch you.
The Green Cheshire cat is what you went back for I bet and I'm NOT even going to tell you what that plush looks like at 10:27 which it very well MAY be. Think along the lines of oh...let's say advertisement plush you may find on the shelf at a Fertility Doctor's office.
How do you come up with your pricing? For example, the Mikey and Roadsters for $16.24. That's an odd amount to me. Is there a strategy for your pricing?
I look up comps on items. So try to base it on solds and how many are listed. I run a sale that is why you see the weird price. I start with a whole # like $20 and then the items go on sale. So depending on the sale % at any given time my asking price will change.
I have had that reversible octopus removed from eBay but immediately after it sold on Mercari before I could take it down. Don’t tell anyone I said that. At the time, there was no way to know it was a VERO because it didn’t have the brand name on it. Now I know.
Always fun to see what others grab! I'm lucky to have 3 bins within driving distance, Tacoma, Olympia, and Seattle. I haven't tried the Seattle one but have gone to the other 2. They price in tiers, so the more you get the cheaper per lb it is. I haven't been in a while, and every time I watch these videos I want to go lol 😄 I've never gotten into an altercation, but I am also a shy person that will avoid anyone being overly aggressive in the bins. I've actually had rather good experiences with others searching in the same bin I'm looking in handing me things they noticed I was picking up, such as crochet thread. Looking forward to part 2! 😊~Caroline
We don’t even have them in AUSTRALIA 😢😢😢 we have nothing good in AUSTRALIA like yous have even our thrift stores only have cheap nasty clothes . We have nothing no auctions no abandoned bag auctions we literally have nothing it’s so depressing 😢🇦🇺🙏❤️
Hmm, without looking for it (and I am not at all a plush expert) I will say the BOLO is the green cheshire cat at 4 1/2 minute mark. Cheshire is usually a pink striped, right?
Whoaaa! Those Lillian Vernon plush!! Whaaaaat??!! 🍀🍀🍀So many good things in your bins this day!! I could watch you dig alll day!! Gives me my bins fix when I can’t go!! LOL
Found a tiny antique glass birdhouse Christmas ornament with 2 canaries (cage was missing a rung) hanging in with the baggies. I only picked it up because I hated the idea of it breaking . Sold for $52 within a day. I didn't realize that it was valuable.
I had to rewind.....maybe the Cheshire Cat? I look forward to reading what others have written in response to your questions. Our bins are too far away but one of these days.....
11:51-11:53 I would have looked up that guitar playing Elmo(?) and the pink horse. 14:10 I would have looked up that cars & trucks play rug. 14:26 Vintage adding machines can sell for decent money. 14:36 Looks like a special sports or sporting event Tim Horton’s reusable cup. I would have looked that up. 21:22 Looks like a Longaberger basket-$10 to $15.
I always run to the shoes right away. I do really well with shoes and boots. I love looking at the plush. Our bins in Canton, OH are about a 1/2 hour from me and are still $1.59.
I go to bins all over the state, so there’s no such thing as “my bins.” They all price differently. Also availability varies. I look for whatever I can find, anything from clothes to fabric to linens, purses, hats, ties to game piece replacements to books. The bins nearest me have shoes paired and rubber banded in a big bin at checkout for $3 a pair. Much nicer than rummaging for the match to that single Birkenstock….
1:20 there is a Cuddle Barn Plush Christmas Tree. I have one, but will not sell it. I Love it. It moves its mouth and sings and the lights light up. So cute. I do not pick up many electronic items, but I would have picked that one up. Only sells for around $30, though. Thanks for another great video.
At my local bins in Chattanooga TN and as happens I start talking to a complete stranger. She wanted to know how I got started reselling. I told her I started watching UA-cam videos. She said she has started watching Bolo Buddy’s and Rebel Reseller. I told her she just mentioned my favorites and if she wanted to learn more she was on the right track for sure. My favorite things to pick up are plush and toys of all kinds. Thanks for all you do for all of us. Patti ~ Red Apple Treasures
I probably would have picked up EVERYTHING in that plush bin!!!! I love them personally so even if they aren't good candidates for resell, they can stay with me for a while! I'm a big kid ! 😂
Okay, the Mario Bros Nintendo Ds Case sells regularly for between $9 and $12 depending on if it has the papers, so that would have been a good pickup. Totally missed all the lego duplos and the lid 17:58 and bucket that they go in, I'm so sad 🤪 And you did totally miss a tiny Lisa Frank around 5:42 ❤️🔥👩🌾 totally would have grabbed the Disney Parks mugs a quick $30 for the 3 of them together, which is how I personally would have listed them. I always pick up those big mugs any style. Either way--you did amazing and we are always surprised when we watch our videos back at the things that we miss. Luv Ya ❤❤👩🌾
At 1:21 the Rockin Robbie dancing Christmas Tree, would have definitely pick that up. Love learning from all your videos. Our closest bin are 2 1/2 hrs away, so we only got a few times a year since it will be an all day trip. We only have 3 in the state of Mo.
So jealous of all the hard goods at your bins!! Mostly clothes at ours. And ours is 1.89 also… but filled sky high with clothes. I think the price of the retail is causing more influx of clothes, then upped the per pound price… so now just mountains of clothes. Hopefully not another increase with the abundance ❤
I would of picked up that little blue elephant. He was so cute. 7:29. And the cute little plush backpack at 8:49. I would of grabbed the Disney Parks mugs. Question Courtney: I came across some vintage hair curlers that were used but clean and perm clips can I sell those or just trash them?
The plush at 10:30 you picked up was Whisper from Youkai Watch. I love Japanese Anime plush I'd definitely pick that up (even if it doesn't sell , I don't mind keeping it for myself LoL)
My suspicion tells me it was either one of the two purple things I saw, one being a bear, and the other one I couldn’t tell, but I would’ve suspected that they could have been a Princess Diana, Ty beanie, but before I spotted that I definitely would’ve given the cheetahs a better looksee! I think it was when you were doing the peeps. I couldn’t tell what was on the foot of that cute cheetah, but I definitely would’ve grabbed him whether that was your $150 treasure or not. He was cute.
I shop the same location you do, Courtney. I only go once a month and yesterday was my day.😂 They raised the price to $1.99 a pound. 🙄 Media is still .59.

Oh! At 23:40, there is a tape gun! I found mine at the bins and always look for things I need like that.
Some handmade crocheted items are great sellers . Hoot!
20:36 - look up that football! 🤗
Plush are my favorite! I comp almost everything because I'm still learning
I always look for all sizes of costumes. I would have grabbed that one you asked about
I have sold a couple of vintage scales. MCM scales are in demand and I often get them free at estate sales.
Yep, I got a 'violation' on a reversible octopus (eBay).
Could you do a video on how you split your time? For example, sourcing, listing, videos, etc. Do you pick a day and focus on one thing? Do you set a calendar? Thanks!
I will discuss this in todays video. 💜
Greater Sacramento area is $1.49 a pound and media is 15 cents each.
I think it was the gingerbread in the gingham overalls.
You left the red frisbee. They sell well.
6:02 wouldve grabbed that cheeta as realistic animals sell really well❤
I bought 2 chip and Dale/Disney in ice cups…sold for $20 EACH within a few weeks
Green cat is my guess. Looked like Cheshire Cat
Most wineries will GIVE you bags of corks!!
The Disney Parks mugs would sell as a lot for about $20.
7:18 Oh my gosh I need that battery pack! I've been on.the hunt for one to inflate a Dinosaur costume.
The patriots frames at 21:30 also. I do well with new nfl licensed items.
i think i would have picked up the calculators @10:11...some calculators are big money...
Lisa Frank plush!!!!!
Our bin in Greenwood Indiana is $1.59
Id have bought that Dale Earnhardt shirt right at the beginning. Def a vintage shirt
Cheshire Cat maybe??
I❤ handmade items would have picked up all of them, especially the gingerbread man. I wouldn't sell them though, lol
Never had nor seen an altercation at the bins, but I avoid conflict.
12.10 that deva curl blow-dry defuser😢
Its yellow
The yellow tellatubbie I bet

Was that a Lisa Frank cheetah? 5:35
Starting at
11:54 Lionel style 3 rail model train track

I would have picked up the cheetah/leopard?
THE T SHIRT? Is that the BOLO
I pop up the solds of the BOLOs. Not a tee :)
The Green Cheshire cat is what you went back for I bet and I'm NOT even going to tell you what that plush looks like at 10:27 which it very well MAY be. Think along the lines of oh...let's say advertisement plush you may find on the shelf at a Fertility Doctor's office.

You passed up a my little pony and a Sesame Street character playing the drums
That Lisa Frank Item was the BOLO for sure!!! At Timestamp 5:38
Totally missed it
This was my guess!!!
How do you ship XBOX games I am wondering how some individuals ship so cheap or do they just eat cost from item
I have had that reversible octopus removed from eBay but immediately after it sold on Mercari before I could take it down. Don’t tell anyone I said that. At the time, there was no way to know it was a VERO because it didn’t have the brand name on it. Now I know.
It has gotten a lot of people

I just love you looking at plush, great scores.
Hmm, without looking for it (and I am not at all a plush expert) I will say the BOLO is the green cheshire cat at 4 1/2 minute mark. Cheshire is usually a pink striped, right?
I thinks so yes. Probably should have grabbed it based on the comments 🤦♀️
😊
Love watching you at the bins. cant wait for part 2
Hi Courtney...I think it was the green cat that was the big money bolo!
Yes, that is the one I thought also.
Whoaaa! Those Lillian Vernon plush!! Whaaaaat??!! 🍀🍀🍀So many good things in your bins this day!! I could watch you dig alll day!! Gives me my bins fix when I can’t go!! LOL

I didn't realize that it was valuable.
My closest Goodwill outlet charges $1.29 pound. Furniture items are $1. Lamps are $2. Large pictures/frames are $2. Books 25 cents each.
5:50 I would have picked up that plush Christmas tree. I do well with small Christmas trees made of unusual materials-glass, metal, wood, etc.
Yes on the wine corks and cosplay dress. Could have been good for renaissance (medieval) festivals. Lots of good stuff there!
I had to rewind.....maybe the Cheshire Cat? I look forward to reading what others have written in response to your questions. Our bins are too far away but one of these days.....

Maybe Columbus Blue Jackets NHL All Star Game 2015? Tim’s for the win!
Out of curiosity, is there a reason to re-donate things you won’t sell? I like the tax write off but… Perhaps someone can repair it?
I do use it as a tax write off but I also just don’t want to mess with some things. 😊
I look for legos

There was a black cat early on looked interesting.
Would’ve definitely picked up the Winnie the Pooh and the small cheetah. They’re so cute!!!!
Looks like it was a great day! I’m coming to your bins!
Please do! 🤣

Hi Courtney! Love your videos! Thank you for all the great info! Is the BOLO you went back for the red and green plaid bear?
I pop up the screen shares of the $125 sold items. Those are what I went back for :)

Just picked up a Dept. 56 Santa at the bins last night
Loved it!!
Always difficult to pick a favorite. Ft. Worth bins are $1.69 per pound. If something is 7 pounds or more it’s a flat price if $7.
Oh, you’re in Ft Worth. I know you from Dona’s whatnot where I’m Keycon. I’m in Austin
What does Vero stand for? I know bolo stand for be on the lookout.
We pay 2.40 in LA Calif. very high
My bins prices vary. The closest is $2.89/lb soft, $.49/lb wares/hard goods. My other bins are $1.99/lb for all.
The Disney mugs are vintage. Or within a year or so. I would have grabbed them. No idea what the comps are.
The Cheshire Cat?
The plush at 10:30 you picked up was Whisper from Youkai Watch. I love Japanese Anime plush I'd definitely pick that up (even if it doesn't sell , I don't mind keeping it for myself LoL)
I would have picked up the green and purple monster but I didn't see the tag.
