I was at Stade de France a lot of times but this match was spécial. The atmosphere , the supporter and the match. 3 years later, I still remember those unforgettable moments 🇲🇫🏴
Terrible lo que se escuchaba al público inglés ,vi por televisión ese partido. Lo más grande en el mundo River plate,Nueva Chicago,AC/DC,y el Manchester united
This song is particularly poignant because of the terrorist attack at Manchester Arena a few months before the game, hence why they're singing it here.
Why no thank you for the French ? So no thank you to the English fans who sang the Marseillaise after Paris attacks ? It's called " SUPPORT" I'm surprise you don't know about it 🤦♀️
Sorry for the late response but if you are still interested here it is. This was a performance by the French 'garde républicaine' which is a part of our military and usually plays for military events like on the 14 of july. For them to get the electric guitars out and play oasis is a bit unusual to say the least. But France wanted to show the same support you guys gave us at wembley in the wake of the November 13 attacks. Peace from France.
It's because of the terror attack that happened in Manchester, and the song 'Don't look back in anger' by oasis who are from Manchester was kinda the theme song to the mourning as it says baciacly the actions of a few do not represent the many. And they want terror but got the opposite response.
@@Iomudh1 you're right that this particular event was dedicated to the Manchester terrorist attack, but England fans have been singing this song since the 90's! i think for no other reason than it's a great English song by a great English band that everyone loves and therefore love to sing!

Am I the only one who doesn't get why this song is so special for English fans?
It’s a huge song world wide, especially in England/the UK. The song is by Oasis (a famous English band).
This song is particularly poignant because of the terrorist attack at Manchester Arena a few months before the game, hence why they're singing it here.
It's the don't look back in anger..
It was after the terrorist attack in Manchester and oasis are synonymous with Manchester if you're English

was this played live by some sort of band?
it was originally written and performed by Noel Gallagher from oasis. however, I think they had just drums to keep the song going in the video.
