Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was using very tall language and ready to fling my power washer into the lake as a spray tip, that I just applied, became stuck in the wand opening and WOULD NOT come out. I jacked with it for almost an hour. I cried. I screamed. I used very tall language. I threw the gun and wand on the ground and stomped it. I gave up. And then today, I did what I usually do when sane, and typed my problem word for word into my search bar, hit enter, and there you were. I'd just gotten home from work, and after watching your video, I stomped out to the garage, pumps, pantyhose and dress be damned, and applied your method. In less than 2 minutes, I was back in the house WHOOP-WHOOP-ing it up, twirling and high-fiving my family as THE COLLAR CAME FREE AND RELEASED THE SPRAY TIP that almost pushed me over the edge! It may seem like a small problem to some, but when you're thwarted from completing a project by something soooo maddening it can make you behave unpredictably. Again, thank you for pulling me back from the edge of the abyss and spending hard earned moolah on a new gun or wand I didn't need. You're my HERO! Now----what do you know about grandfather clocks?

    This video is fire!! 🔥
Mine was stuck in place however, with some squirts of WD-40 above and below, and a few twists with the pliers, it released right away. Thank you so much, Tim and Merry Christmas 8 years later!! 🎄😃🙌

WD40 will break down your o-rings and any other rubber exposed to it. Make sure you rinse off WD40 afterward.

Just take a small screw driver (After lubricating) position it perpendicular to the outer sleeve rim and tap it off.

Would it be helpful to apply plumber’s jelly/grease or marine jelly to the lip before you put the tips on? I have been doing this for years to keep the garden hose attachments from getting stuck.

Had to beat on it as shown but this technique as suggested worked on a rusted tip without damaging the fitting.

Leave your tips in anti-freeze and you’ll never have a problem again! Guaranteed it works!

what does anti freeze do? Over time the pressure put on the plug makes it mushroom out which causes this. How would anti-freeze prevent. Not being a smart A, just wanting to learn something new if possible. Thanks
