Thanks for the review. Very detailed and relevant for me being in Australia (summer temps 30+C). Would like to see a longer term review and if in an event of a crash; how they faired.
Lol.. We real ride that morning.. some men tap out after we finished Snake Trail and decided to head to BC. Before doing Snake we did Spit Fire and yuh know that trail could be a little taxing. So yeah some men couldn't make the full journey.. lol...
Well, looks like you have a winner there with those knee pads! Nothing I have found is well suited for the smaller tropical markets. Give us a long term review to see how those hold up. Now you know why I insist on testing everything I can get my hands on. Too much paid hype and mouth pieces out there that really have no true experience or are simply doing it for the $ or the views/subscribers/clicks to trust. Break through the noise & make a difference, keep up the good work. Yes!!!! Ride more, Live more. Stress less, Ride more! Side question, I have a question, since I don't ride with any body armour except a brain bucket, does wearing armour get riders into trouble because they ride beyond their skill level or get lazy thinking the armour will somehow save them? Thoughts?
I definitely plan to do a follow up long term review on this knee pads after riding them for a few months. See how they stand up to wear and tear and numerous washing cycles. I’ve never ridden with body armor either, but I think I can relate it to riding with a full face helmet. The feel of your head and face being fully protected gives you a little more confidence if your going to attempt something which carries more consequence if you get it wrong. I imagine it’s the same with body armor. Some riders have more guts than sense and have the ability to stare danger in its face and laugh. I think for those guys body armor probably makes them feel invincible and ride beyond their limit.
I must admit they don’t look that bad in the video lol 😆. But the sleeves have some holes that are getting wider with each ride. The old pads have held up pretty well considering I’ve had them about 4 years.
Good review Chris, always detailed and honest in your analysis
Thanks for the candid feedback. Glad you enjoyed it

Thank you. You’re right a follow up review is overdue. I’ll work on that.
Great feedback, would like a long term follow up regarding how the back mesh holds up for you.
Thank you, I really the feedback. I’ll post an updated review after I’ve used them for a few months.
Good stuff .. I heard that subtle hint that no one was keeping up with you in the trail lol..

I hear a trini accent where do you ride ?
Trini to the bone 🙂. I ride mostly in Chaguaramas, but also ride in Victory Heights or Arena in the East.
0:14 worn out .🙄
where is that garbage bad?

@@MudSweatGears_TT I made some homemade shin guards and at the same time I was figuring out how to adapt knee pads.
How did the project with the knee pads go?
