I was able to ride it in practice, but on race day it was BRUTAL!! I think I had more energy due to the breaks we were making in the practice runs..

lol for what the light delivers at the price point it can’t be beaten. I challenge you to show me another 1500 lumen light that gives the same run time at this price point 🙂

I’m not questioning the value of the light, I just don’t consider a separate battery pack and a bundle of wire to be a neat setup.

@bussyuhtrail4401 yes I get that. The separate battery pack may not fit everyone’s definition of “neat”, but it provides longer run time than other 1500 lumen lights with an integrated battery. Integrated batteries are sleeker but they are smaller and thus have shorter run times.

Yes, that’s true the course isn’t not technical but challenges your fitness. Those climbs definitely spikes your heart rate.

@@adventureswithloviematt I don’t think it ever gets totally dry, but during the peak of the dry season might be the best time to go back. May or June.

Nice! I like the convenience of knee pads that allow to put them on and take them off without having to take off your shoes. But I’ve been wary about how well they stay in place, since that one of the complaints you often hear about those style of pads. I’ve used G-Form knee pads before I got the 7IDP ones, but I haven’t heard about the E-Line product. I’ll check them out and learn more about them.

@@MudSweatGears_TT yea these stay firmly put, no slippage. They have sizable silicone strips that prevent them from moving around. I'm a happy camper 👌🏽
