I brought Koro so he kept getting targeted by hamaon and dying. Revival beads are cheaper than anything else though, so I just kept bringing him back on MCs turn while everyone else did the damage. Using the dog as a meat shield was by far the most efficient strategy I've stumbled across. Using magic mirror just baited megidola for me. A reason he avoided maragidyne could have been my mc's and koro's fire resistance too, though.
You playing on the highest difficulty? That could be part of it. This is on Normal. Also I always like to grind 1 or 2 levels (occasionally 3, depending) between every boss, if that means anything (to make sure I'm not underleveled).
@@OsunaS wow i am like 40 floors underneath that and have a higher level and wasn't even grinding. Did you just get to the stairs as quickly as you coulf every time?

@@OsunaS that is severely underleveled, you should at least be 40+
